He referred me out to "Southern California Endodontic Group" in Westlake, CA. I booked an appointment and went there to get my root canal treatment. I was little nervous and didn't know what to expect, but from the moment I walked in, the staff was super friendly and welcoming. The office was modern and equipped with the latest technology. They have a 3D-CT Scan which they took onsite that made me feel more at ease. The office has a team of four endodontist who can see you. Dr. Sophia Kang was my Endodontist, and she was extremely professional and knowledgeable. She took the time to explain the whole procedure and answered all my questions, ensuring me that I felt comfortable throughout the process. It took about an hour and a half to complete my root canal procedure. My procedure took a little bit longer than the usual root canal since it was a bit more complicated. I had three (3) root canals to treat instead of the usual two (2). Throughout the whole process, I didn't feel a thing.......not a thing!!! After my root canal treatment, Dr. Kang prescribed some antibiotics and ibuprofens, and then I was on my mary way home. I was so happy and relieved that I have chosen Dr. Sophia Kang and her team. She is an amazing person and in a class of her own (inside scoop). The entire team at Southern California Endodontic Groups is dedicated to providing top-notch care, and it truly showed. He texted every night after the 3 visits to make sure I was doing well and his staff was beyond exceptional with their customer service, follow up and kindness. While X-rays were taken, no doctor or hygienist took gum measurements or even looked in my mouth first-hand for longer than 15 seconds, but somehow the recommendation was for a deep cleaning. It felt to me that they are motivated by money, not helping patients with dental care at this office. A dentist I went to for a second opinion (who actually took gum measurements and examined my teeth) said I do not need a deep cleaning and found an aged filling that needs to be redone and a new cavity. None of this was mentioned at Agoura Dental Group. Please look elsewhere for your dental care needs.

Essentially after 10k CASH they implanted two posts too close together that NO DENTIST OR SPECIALIST can finish the implant work. I have literally been to multiple dentist and without teeth in these places has caused my face to start to fall.. I have reached out to FOCUS DENTISTRY and not only were they no help... and lacked all compassion, they also were holding 3k extra payment that I had to force them to return. This dentist should BE BANNED. My new treatments are going to cost me upwards of 90k because of this person. I am warning you, do not go to FOCUS DENTISTRY. If it goes well that will be by chance.
