When I went, my total was 165.80 and somehow jumped to $186.50. I turned around and asked the employee how this is possible and she said they charge a 10% sales tax and a credit card charge. Mind you, there is no signs about their tax, or a credit card charge. Not to mention, because their register is incapable of scanning and processing charges, the employee asked if she could use my phone to calculate the total. It's upsetting that I am unable to support a small business that is rarely ever open. However, this is unacceptable and extremely disappointing.

I received an Ulta gift card for Christmas specifically for getting an eye brow wax. I had never…read morehad one before and felt it was something that every girl should do at least once. I had intended to make an appointment and come back at a later date but the girl said she could fit me in as soon as she was done with her current client, so I stuck around. My brows are fairly sparse and I was looking to add a bit more arch to them and get a recommendation on make up to use for them. The girl who did the brow wax was very nice and talked me through everything she was doing. She used a new wooden stick for each dip into the wax so it was sanitary. It really didn't hurt much. I had watched a few videos beforehand so I kind of new what to expect. After the waxing, my brows seemed so thin and small but that's not her fault. I just don't have much for brows to begin with. She used a little make up on them (Benefit, of course) and they looked fine. She gave me a slip to take up to the front counter to pay and I was able to leave her a tip on my card. Overall, the experience was great, but I probably won't do it again just because my brows don't really need it. I can get by with just plucking them at home.

I was then told "all sales are final," as if basic customer care doesn't exist. When you charge premium prices, you should at least provide basic professionalism and respect. The overall interaction felt uncomfortable and unprofessional. Rather than resolving a small issue, it turned into an unpleasant experience that could have easily been handled with courtesy. Customer service matters. Respect matters. This business clearly does not prioritize either. I will not be returning. And if you read this proceed with caution! The way they handle this Buisness I see why it is dead most of the time! If I could give it a negative I would!
