He doesn't just care about your teeth, he cares about you. It's like seeing an old friend who happens to have a DDS. And then there's Dawn, the Queen of Clean Teeth. I will wait as long as it takes for an opening with her. She's that good. She makes cleanings fly by with her kindness, humor, and freakishly gentle hands. If you're nervous about dental visits, Dawn will change your mind. The front desk staff? Angels. Literal angels. I've shown up on the wrong day (more than once, let's be honest), and instead of judgment, I get warm laughs and a magical "don't worry, we'll fit you in." Who does that anymore? They do. Unfortunately, my interactions with the reception staff have consistently been the opposite--they often come across as rude, which has made me feel uncomfortable on multiple occasions. Back in October 2025, I had an appointment scheduled for a cavity filling. When I arrived, I was told it had been canceled and that I should have been notified. However, I never received any notice--aside from a text message sent an hour before my appointment reminding me to arrive. When I explained this, another receptionist, who was assisting someone else at the time, shouted across the room, "I CALLED YOU AND LEFT YOU A VOICEMAIL!" The tone was unnecessarily harsh and unprofessional. As I tried to reschedule, I also felt rushed into choosing a new date. This wasn't my first negative experience with the front desk, and it ultimately led me to switch dental offices that same month. I did attempt to share my concerns with management, but nothing seemed to improve. To make matters worse, when my records were supposed to be transferred to my new provider, the wrong records were sent. Today, I'm writing this review because I received a reminder text for an appointment on May 8th--despite no longer being a patient there and never scheduling such an appointment. I called the office to clarify and spoke with someone named Molly. When I explained the situation, she responded with a sarcastic tone and interrupted me as I tried to say I was no longer a patient. She then abruptly ended the call by saying, "Well, I'm sure someone else will be very grateful for this appointment. Thank you and take care." I'm genuinely unsure what prompted this pattern of dismissive and unprofessional behavior, but it has been consistently frustrating. While the clinical staff are wonderful, the front desk experience has caused unnecessary stress and ultimately drove me to seek care elsewhere.

After the extraction, an implant was added. Dr. Adis was so gentle and patient removing the tooth. He took all the time he needed. After receiving a quote of over $1,000 for the bone graft--significantly more than the cost of the same procedure she received last year at her regular dentist for about a third of the price--we were understandably confused. We asked to speak with Dr. Drooger to better understand why the price was so inflated. When he entered the room, his demeanor was nothing short of unprofessional. His first words were, "Yeah?"--hardly a welcoming or respectful way to address a patient's concerns. When I introduced myself as her husband and tried to ask for a detailed explanation of the costs and the procedure, his only response was, "It costs this much because I went to school for 16 years." That was the extent of his explanation--no insight into the procedure, no breakdown of the charges, just a rude and dismissive attitude. We were left in disbelief at how we were treated. He didn't explain any of the procedure codes or why this bone graft was priced so much higher than the one my wife had received previously. Instead, he rushed out of the room without providing any further clarification, leaving us feeling dismissed and disrespected. After the encounter, we expressed our dissatisfaction with his behavior, but unfortunately, the damage had already been done. Although his dental assistant tried to answer our questions, the lack of professionalism and medical explanation left us with no confidence in proceeding with the surgery. We ultimately decided to leave and not go through with the procedure. The worst part is, that I would have probably paid for the overpriced bone graft had we been treated with basic dignity. My wife and I both took time off work for this appointment, only to be met with poor customer service and an unwillingness to address our concerns. We will not be returning and cannot recommend Dr. Drooger to anyone seeking quality care and professionalism. I would strongly recommend anyone considering dental work with Dr. Drooger to do additional research. From what I've gathered, this seems to be a common issue, and many others have had similar negative experiences. It's truly shocking that a doctor would respond this way to a patient simply asking questions about a procedure. Based on his unprofessional bedside manner, I can't imagine he provides quality medical care.

She is professional and compassionate at the same time. Hubby said his procedure was completely painless. Dr. Smith formulates a plan during your visit while looking at all your images on computer. She gives you several options (when possible) for the best outcome. She actually listens to your concerns and works with you.

March 2017, a tooth snapped off while eating dinner. I'm happy to have found a dentist who can see me the next day since I was in pain. He was able to temporarily glue it back until I become permanent at this new job and have insurance. Unfortunately (or fortunately) this dentist is not in my dental insurance network. Two months later, tooth fell off again. I saw a different dentist who glued it back. Thereafter, I visited the oral surgeon to whom they referred me. They were good, but inside me says that I should get a second opinion. Dental office #3, I went to see last month, August 2017. This office was almost great but the insurance/finance gal frustrated me. Not sure whether she really knows what she's doing. Needless to say, I decided to see Dental office #4, Brookwood Dental Center. It's as if I have been "dating" guys who are "nice" but gave no spark, I think I found "The One." Dr. Stegmann did not make me feel as if I'm just "squeezed" between VIP patients. I could sense that he heard me -- me, as a competent person; me, as one who is asking for a caring help. I also sensed his labor over my dilemma (ie costs) versus what is good for my dental health. And he courteously acknowledged the pleasure of meeting me before he exited the room. It felt sincere and not a perfunctory gesture. Then Lisa, the insurance/finance person, came in with her customary papers. I had to stop her after a few minutes, to tell her how comfortable she made me feel and how I appreciate her gentle, knowledgeable, caring presentation of the plan costs. Her want to meet my (financial) concerns is palpable! She was not just pointing out how much I need to cough up. She met me in a way as if she's there to help me afford "this." It was a breath of fresh air to meet one like Lisa, doing her job, with the attitude of wanting to help and be helpful. As I mentioned earlier, like dating, I may have found the Dental Office that I want to continue to see. I am now hopeful that I could once again have a long-term relationship with my DMD and his staff. Thank you Lisa, Jessica and Dr. Stegmann for the pleasant visit.
