Their equipment may have looked older as the other review said but it was all completely functional in great working order. The office was clean and professional. The only side that had swelling or hurt was the side the two were impacted on. The stitches I can't even feel, and the bleeding stopped after about 30 min post surgery, I was able to remove the gauze. I would recommend this oral surgeon to anyone who has anxiety about the dentists office because they were great about answering questions and providing a comfortable environment. I'm most impressed with the stitches and care put into extraction. I wasn't able to get them removed as a teen, and being 24 with the roots fully formed, it still went amazing.

I went back in to his office a week later due to bleeding from my sinuses, still in horrible pain, numbness, and could not open my mouth. I told the nurse that I could not open my mouth very wide, and she told me that I was going to open my mouth and they were going to open it wide. When I got back to see Dr. Pernoud he told me to open my mouth, I opened my mouth and he very roughly forced my mouth open wider with his interments. I would not recommend this doctor to anyone, he is greatly lacking in bedside manor and compassion.

Since my first phone call with them they were so helpful and kind, I really felt welcomed and that they really wanted to help me. They worked with me to make sure my insurance would cover everything and even returned my calls and kept me up to date. They called to remind me to not eat or drink the day of my surgery and the day of they were so nice and informative, they made sure I was comfortable and wanted me to ask any questions I had. My wisdom teeth removal went great and although I don't remember leaving, my boyfriend was filled in on how to follow up and care for my mouth for the next week. He took an x-ray and photos, and he explained every step thoroughly. I had been able to save my tooth and took it with me, and he was able to use it and not have to create a tooth. He performed a much better overall screening than any of the other 3 and also saved me money by not trying to veneer my bottom teeth (the other dentist wanted to just replace everything when I latter found out that was really going overboard). Stated that my lower teeth were fine and it was better to keep my real teeth. This saved me money now and will help in the future when, at some point, I have to have the veneers retouched. He definitely came across as a caring guy for his patients. I had cracked one of my temporary's and he came in on a Saturday morning out of his busy weekend to help touch it up so I wouldn't look a fright. I can't say enough good things about this guy. I put off getting my wisdom teeth removed for nearly a decade because every surgeon I saw told me I would be left with permanent nerve damage based on the positioning of my teeth. Dr. Morris got my wisdom teeth out with no lasting impact. I had a terrible experience with another surgeon preparing me for major orthognathic surgery (double jaw surgery). Dr. Morris took over and made sure I was informed every step of the way. He stayed with me through my recovery, often accommodating last minute appointments on a weekly basis. He even showed up to the hospital to check on me on a weekend when I was readmitted after my surgery (at no fault of his own- I'm immune compromised and had some persistent infection issues). The whole process was easy to navigate, including appointments, dealing with insurance, etc.. His team is awesome, and they always made me feel at home in the office. I truly felt like everyone there was celebrating my progress each week I came in during my recovery. I see some of these other reviews complaining about his bedside manner. If you want someone to coddle you and sugarcoat things, he's probably not your guy. If you want someone to actually support you, show you genuine respect, give you real medical advice, and deliver perfect surgical outcomes, you've found the right place. The medical procedures he did for me have changed my life, and I'm so glad I trusted him. Dr. Morris is the best of the best.
