The only reason I'm keeping my account open is because it's linked to my auto loan. I have two payments left and I cannot wait to close this account. Little things that suck - I hate the app. I hate the fact that I can never call and speak to a human being, I constantly am having issues with my card saying things are declined when I have more than enough money. .* Huge issue: I disputed a transaction on my credit card. The dispute: don't ever, ever, use Best Fit Movers in San Diego. They are scary and dangerous. I had to call the police to get them out of my apartment. I asked the mover why the price was more than double / what I agreed to , the movers became violent with me, yelling and swearing, told me to shut my mouth, threatened me " I'm not leaving till you pay me what I say you owe" and they refused to leave my apartment. Hence why I called the police. (The moving company charged me for boxes, tape, packing, insurance protection. Further miles then we drove on and on. This was ALLLLL fraud) I had proof of everything, and San Diego County credit union still sided with them. " how do we know if you asked for more boxes." Not only is this horrible customer service l but it shows that they did not do a single bit of investigating whatsoever. I literally hate this credit union. This is just one of many issues I've had. Please note, the whole situation with the movers was incredibly terrifying I submitted my original quote my original contract all of the dates and the times that I called best fit movers. I had a detailed blip of every single conversation I had in summary that I submitted in addition to the fact that the police were called to get the mover out of my house. I wish there was something more I could do to fight with San Diego County credit union over this. But unless anyone has any suggestions, I'm not sure. I just think they should be shut down.

Yet I knew intuitively that John was the right "go-to" person for my refinance needs. John's integrity, work ethic & knowledge of the marketplace coupled perfectly with my desire to identify "best solutions." John put my needs & interests first (quite a rarity within the industry) and walked me through the pros & cons of each option. He patiently answered every random question I had along the way. Refinances are usually hassles at best -- seldom easy or timely experiences. John and his support staff made for an almost seamless transaction. Once prepped, the transaction took about a month start-to-finish, if not less. We began with a simple evaluation of my circumstances; moved onto the more difficult task of understanding the market's various offerings; and then we talked earnestly about the pros & cons of those options. John empowered me to understand the nuances of each option so I could confidently make an informed decision that best suited my situation. Should you ever need a mortgage broker who will work tirelessly and purposefully towards your greatest benefit, I highly recommend that you contact John Evans.

Skip was the founder/owner of AleSmith Brewing Company when we first met and he is still quite active in QUAFF, our local homebrew club. For this reason, I chose to give Skip a shot when I elected to refinance my home mortgage. I've always thought you'd get a better deal when working with a direct lender as opposed to a mortgage broker. However, that is not true. Mortgage brokers can provide the same service and competitive rates as a direct lender. It doesn't cost you any more to use a broker, and they have access to multiple lenders. Working with Skip was great, but I expected nothing less. The entire refinance process was very smooth and efficient. With all of the new laws and regulations, I didn't expect it to be so easy. It took just a little over six weeks from start to finish. We were able to do everything by phone or email, and the notary came to our home for final document signing. This was the quickest I've ever closed on a loan. Throughout the process Skip keep me informed. His knowledge and experience clearly resulted in the best loan execution rate available. I am very pleased with my new loan rate and the fact that there was zero out of pocket costs to me. I will surely refer all of my friends and family to Skip in the future. And if you need any advice on homebrewing or where to find good craft beer, be sure to ask Skip!

Luckily, our realtor recommended Skip Virgilio and Park Village Financial. We were sold when we were told Skip helped found Alesmith Brewery, but we became satisfied customers after Skip found us fantastic rates, walked us through the process of shopping financing packages, and put up with three thousand emails at nights, on weekends, and on holidays to answer our questions and concerns. In the end, Skip found us financing to help up us get our dream house, and all under a conventional loan he found for us. Skip made sure our closing was smooth, and it definitely made everything easy that most documents could be e-signed. Even after closing, Skip is still happily answering questions we've run into about payments and taxes. It is definitely a different experience from dealing with a bank over the phone - more personal, more helpful, and it helps to keep a stressful process as stress fre as possible. When any of our friends start to look for homes, we will recommend Skip wholeheartedly to them. For us, he made the seemingly impossible possible.

We went through the process and started the ball rolling for a reverse mortgage. There as Shakespeare would say is the rub and it rubbed me wrong again and again, this was a real mess. The process was to have two appraisals and that's fine but FA farms out their appraisals to another company in Michigan who takes their cut of my wallet and does virtually nothing and all with a bad attitude but, they were there to collect their money before they earned it! To the point of obnoxious! But the final straw that broke the camels back(proverbially) they sent the wrong appraiser and he was a rush job kind of man if you know what I mean. His appraisal was to be the second of two and he came first! What? you say! yes my friends, a two million dollar Mansion and the operative word is FUBAR! His appraisal was so bad and out of order Finance of America had to order him to "do over" re submit and get comps that represented our house accurately! He didn't and F of A didn't ever get the second appraisal done. then, and here's the kicker, F of A wanted us to accept half value of our home, half the reverse mortgage benefits and all the high interest AND we'd still have a huge house payment. Needless to say we didn't take the bait.

While I'm originally from San Diego, I'm unfamiliar with the real estate market other than looking at properties on Zillow. While talking to a childhood friend, she recommended her realtor Erin and gave me her number. It felt too intrusive to call her personal cellphone so I decided to go to her website to learn more about her and ultimately decided to call the general number. Well, guess who answered?! lol Erin. I had to mute the phone shortly after she answered because I was awkwardly giggling to myself like a crazy person. I guess I just figured someone from her team would answer so it's funny I ended up talking to her anyway. We had a nice conversation. While I had many questions, she patiently answered them all. She offered locations to consider in my price range, townhomes and single family homes and places that don't charge an HOA. I thought HOA's were only on condo's, derp. Erin demonstrated to me that she's more interested in the relationship than the transaction and I respect that. We went ahead and scheduled an appointment at her office next week so she can help me with planning.

It was time for my mom to finally downsize to a home which would be more manageable; square footage to yard maintenance; for someone in their 80's. Therefore, I searched Yelp and after viewing the realtors on Yelp, Erin Wade stood out even before I read her reviews. I called Erin and set up a meet and greet with my mom and husband to discuss options for selling and buying a home in the area. From starting to finish, Erin was friendly, professional, and went above and beyond to make the entire process smooth, stress-free and successful for my mom who has never had to deal with selling and buying a home for over 30+ years. Erin is incredibly knowledgeable about the market, communication was always clear and timely, and she responded to all texts and/or emails in a timely matter even while out of town for family event. If it just so happened Erin was not available, she assigned someone from her team to cover in her absence. Erin made sure we were kept in the loop on any information about the property my mom was selling and the one she was purchasing. Erin really catered to my mom's needs and to my husband and my expectations during the process. Overall, Erin made us feel we were the only customer even though we know that is not true. We; my mom, husband and I, are grateful to have found Erin Wade and her team to help my mom sell her home and find her forever home. If you are looking for a great, reliable, friendly and knowledgeable Realtor. Erin Wade is that Realtor. I will definitely call Erin Wade when I am in the market to sell my home.
