Dr. Bellman made it a point to explain the procedure, walk through the paperwork, and explain the ins and outs of the procedure. The office staff, without pressure, allowed me to schedule at my leisure and requested date. The procedure itself was a quick and painless. Myself, opted in for the nitrous as a precaution, but before I knew it Dr. Bellman had completed his work and I was on the road to recovery. I have had no pain, iced for only the first two days, and needed no Tylenol. Procedure was done at 4:30p on a Thursday. I took Friday off as a precaution - but honestly could've come back to the office Friday. Kudos to the entire team for taking an uncomfortable (no pun intended) conversation/procedure and making it an experience worth recommending to anybody considering having it done. Cheers Dr. Bellman and Staff!

Overall, it just felt like a well run office with people who actually care about what they're doing and how their patients feel. Definitely recommend.

How does one write a 5-star review for someone who does a vasectomy procedure? You'd think it'd be…read morean emotional 1-star review. However, I had an amazing experience here compared to my first visit with another Urologist and staff nearby. First, I have to start with Dr. Hyman's staff. My wife who works in medical always says the staff makes the doctor. I can tell you that the office staff, nurses, and assistants here are all amazing. They're very friendly, personable and communicable throughout, always going the extra mile if needed. Second, Dr. Hyman himself is highly energetic ...in a good way. What I mean is that he carries an optimistic personality, speaking with presence and charisma. He always checked if I had any questions, making sure to leave no stone unturned. The day of, I was scared as hell to have this procedure done. But I remember reading somewhere, "doesn't it make more sense to unload the gun rather than firing at a bulletproof vest?" Based on that, a vasectomy seemed like the most sensible route for me. Plus, I'm doing this for my wife. Who could say no to that? We discussed all the options, and my choice of offering a vasectomy seemed like the least invasive. So I manned up and braved the elements. That being said, the elements were hardly elements at all. I thought he wasn't done numbing me up, when he said out loud he was half way done. I replied, "half way numbing?!" And he responded, "no, I'm in. We're halfway done." I was surprised considering I hardly felt anything other than the first needle stick to numb me up. I even heard from others about a little pulling and hardly felt that too. I was in and out in no time, and was able to drive myself home. I'm currently typing this from bed the day after. A psychological part of me feels like I should be hurting, but I honestly feel pretty great. I'm pretty much only taking Tylenol for pain and it's minimal. Basically, if anyone were to ever (oddly enough) ask me about where to get this procedure done, it'd be hands-down with Dr. Hyman. It was easy with little (and I mean very little) pain or discomfort. From the office staff to the doctor, you really couldn't ask for better than this.

Mind you this is quite a ways from my house and I had to drive back-and-forth in the commuting morning traffic for nothing! It's very frustrating After I finished with this review, I started reading all their reviews and about 70% of these reviews have a complaint about the receptionist or the stuff ! Dr. Hyman needs to revisit this because it really is a reflection on him Personally, he lost me as a patient, and I am trying to find another Urologist doctor

My father had begun to suffer with the symptoms of vascular-dementia, this greatley complicated any extensive urological diagnostic procedures as well as the outlook for potential treatment. My father had at this time extreme difficulty to urinate he had a suprapubic catheter placed by another physician to mitigate the urine retention. The catheter exacerbated my fathers dementia. Clearly God blessed my father with the professional consideration of Dr. Dula, by that time we were near the end of hope. It had seemed that the accepted industry standard was to simply refuse to offer or make available procedures that could potentially alleviate the need for any catheter altogether. Clearly and obviously i can say that without any arrogance Doctor Dula, endowed with confidence enough from his own experience and prior success, he humbly offred to employ his sirgical skill. His office staff first did necessary testing to understand the potential usefulness or relevance of surgery to help my father. He did perform excellent and phenomenaly beneficial surgery. I write all of this several months after the passing of my dear father (84 years). I did personally accompany and trivialy assist my father at his appointments and during testing procedure. This review is belated, it is appropriate and commensurate with thr fine care recieved. Borrowing and applying analogy to jewelry profession, i want myself to say somewhat less humbly that i have an eye for noticing those things which we hold to be precious and are regarded as gems. When considiring other urologists who declined to consider or offer care to my ailing father, Doctor Dula should be regarded as exemplary in his profession as he is certainly more than a precious gem among stones. I extend my thanks to both Doctor Dula and the Staff whom he employs.
