Ended up back at Tower Urology. Skip this office, she wants to retire , her NP is medically worthless cant even do instillations, staff told me they had my records, I drove an hour after months of waiting for follow up . They did not have the records she did nothing but literally take my money . This dr wants to retire and at this point is doing more harm than good by staying in such a chaotic office only contributed to the agony of dealing with a chronic infection. Did not even take a culture or examine me on the last long awaited visit. Waste of what little energy I have left after dealing with an infection six months . Better off sticking with Tower Urology at least Tower is compassionate and the office doesnt lose your records; this Sherry Thomas time to retire for me she was a waste of energy, money, time and had the nerve to charge $30 to send lab results to Tower while I still had an active infection and she couldnt schedule me for a follow up for over a month. Medicine in the third world makes more sense than this retarded office.

We had a very bad experience. Our appointment was at 11:15 AM, and we arrived a bit early. I never expected to be called before our appointment time. Minutes went by, and we were still waiting, patiently, until 11:45 AM. I noticed that they were calling other patients who arrived later than us. I started to wonder and asked the staff what was going on, why we weren't being called, and why they called other patients who came later than us. The response I received was that he didn't know. We were finally called at almost 12 noon, and I asked the staff what was happening; she said to ask the doctor. We were in the room, and we prepared our 93-year-old patient to lie on the bed to get ready for changing his SP tubing. The doctor went into the room and was mad that I had approached his staff to ask a question. He brought a paper showing me what he did for other patients, and that was not my business in the first place. Then he decided not to do the SP change, left the patient half-naked, and told me to look for another doctor. This showed how unprofessional he was to us and his attitude. Dr. Hyman had an attitude even before when I first met him. The only thing we were waiting for was at least the courtesy of being told to wait because the doctor was assisting another patient who needed to be seen first. We would understand, but none of them said anything, and the doctor did not say anything nice. Instead, he came in with an attitude. He really had the nerve.

He is patient, kind, thorough, incredibly knowledgeable and an expert in Urology & related. He took the time to answer all of my questions, i never felt rushed and went above and beyond to expedite the process from consultation through surgery & after care, which I deeply appreciated. Nurse Practitioner: Heather Smart was equally outstanding--thorough, knowledgeable and attentive. She took the time to address all of my concerns during my initial consultation and made me feel informed and comfortable every step of the way. Jenny at the front desk, Alex, and the entire staff were exceptionally kind, patient and professional. Everyone made me feel welcomed and cared for throughout my experience. They are all true rockstars and I cannot recommend this team highly enough. You will not be disappointed. Thank you all for your exceptional care and support! Much love & gratitude!

My father had begun to suffer with the symptoms of vascular-dementia, this greatley complicated any extensive urological diagnostic procedures as well as the outlook for potential treatment. My father had at this time extreme difficulty to urinate he had a suprapubic catheter placed by another physician to mitigate the urine retention. The catheter exacerbated my fathers dementia. Clearly God blessed my father with the professional consideration of Dr. Dula, by that time we were near the end of hope. It had seemed that the accepted industry standard was to simply refuse to offer or make available procedures that could potentially alleviate the need for any catheter altogether. Clearly and obviously i can say that without any arrogance Doctor Dula, endowed with confidence enough from his own experience and prior success, he humbly offred to employ his sirgical skill. His office staff first did necessary testing to understand the potential usefulness or relevance of surgery to help my father. He did perform excellent and phenomenaly beneficial surgery. I write all of this several months after the passing of my dear father (84 years). I did personally accompany and trivialy assist my father at his appointments and during testing procedure. This review is belated, it is appropriate and commensurate with thr fine care recieved. Borrowing and applying analogy to jewelry profession, i want myself to say somewhat less humbly that i have an eye for noticing those things which we hold to be precious and are regarded as gems. When considiring other urologists who declined to consider or offer care to my ailing father, Doctor Dula should be regarded as exemplary in his profession as he is certainly more than a precious gem among stones. I extend my thanks to both Doctor Dula and the Staff whom he employs.
