Last year I hired Mr. Fuller to assist me with settling a dispute I had over an advertising contract w/a residential community publication. I had paid the company what I owed, but after payment they sent a letter saying I owed them even more. It felt like extortion since I had already paid the over $3,000 I owed them and yet they wanted more. I left messages for Mr. Fuller's office and four other attorneys. Mr. Fuller was the only one to call me back! Even he was surprised other attorney's hadn't called me back. He agreed that what this company was trying to do was not right and agreed to assist for a flat fee. I happily paid him by CC over the phone and he got right to work! Following Mr. Fuller's initial contact with the other party, they were still not willing to withdraw their demand for additional payment and pushed back. Mr. Fuller was able to highlight to them that their continued efforts to collect on a debt that had already been satisfied and further threats of litigation would be a fruitless waste of time and money. Ultimately, the other party backed off and provided a letter attesting to the satisfaction of the debt and a release of any future claims or liability. Mr. Fuller was very clear in what he would and could do, set expectations for possible outcomes, and charged a very fair price for the work. I cannot say enough about attorney Michael Fuller. I was in a long stressful battle with a home security company who installed an alarm system and three cameras on my home. The cameras did not work, they refused to send me the permit paperwork to file with the city of Phoenix, they took varying amounts of money out of my bank account - most of the time not matching the agreed upon monthly fee (I had to close my bank account so they would no longer have access to my money). Michael's letter was pristine and to the point. This company was in material breach of contract alone just because of the non-working cameras. I fought the battle on my own for quite some time but to no avail. I was referred to Michael by another attorney. Michael met with me over the phone, read through the contract and had the letter to me within a couple of days. He even answered a couple of questions I had after the letter was sent to the security company. They charge $40 to refer you for 30 mins. MF gave me 14 mins ( you can schedule online for 15 mins free, they didn't tell me this!) and even though I asked about one specific thing in his mind, and he only gave me two tenant laws and not even the hours the office can enter... it's 9am - 6pm by the way. Waist of time and money. I needed to know at least the basics like top ten most important laws. Simply go to google, you can do more there and not feel bad because this is not your area of expertise, and don't know the questions to ask. If this were dental I could dance circles around him but it's not I needed his expertise in this area and I did not get it. Google it, people are dishonest and charge for nothing! Worthless, and I'm very sick and didn't need to have my time waisted on idle demeaning chat about one or two laws and then was told " Laura, you need to plug your nose and close your eyes and take it" from the landlord in regard to the new situation I had never encountered in my life. In this world you're on your own everyone should just learn to be an attorney even if they don't go to school so they can just represent themselves and stop giving these jerks money! read more
