What an incredible and entertaining show. My family and I loved everything about our first-ever Cirque du Soleil experience. The storyline can be a bit confusing since there's so much happening, but that didn't lessen how much we enjoyed every moment. The highlight is when the huge, rotating platform or stage almost completely stands upright, with performers still on it--including an unbelievable fight scene that left us speechless and in awe. The performers are truly AMAZING! They do things I never knew the human body could do. They all work so hard to ensure that every guest has a great visit. I won't share any details about the show itself so as not to spoil anything for those planning to attend. The theater itself is beautiful, modern, and expansive. The air conditioning worked perfectly, and the atmosphere was electric. The padded seats are very comfortable and feature surround sound at the headrests, which was incredible and added a special touch to the overall experience. There is a large gift shop just outside the theater offering clothing and other souvenirs from the show. I would gladly visit again because I truly enjoyed my experience. read more

5 stars for good customer service... We had a problem with our ticket purchase and a guy named "Bryley" helped us fix the situation. He was able to accommodate us. Never once did I hear "sorry, can't help - all sales final". Thank you for being flexible and being helpful. As for the show, its one of our favorites. We've seen 24 different Cirque du Soleil productions. We've seen Ka more than 10 times. It's n our top 3. It is true that KA is a bit weaker on the acrobatics and focus more on the storytelling and the amazing stage. But there are just some visually beautiful scenes that have nothing to do with physical acrobatics. Of course for some, those scenes may seem slow and boring. Part of my solution to this might be to make sure you are as close to the stage as possible. The close to the stage, the more engaged and connected you will be. Try for the first 5 rows. No need to be dead center... the stage is so huge, even sitting on the sides you'll be fine. We've sat in the back of the front section and felt too far back....and thats knowing we were only half way in the auditorium seating. We've sat in the middle of the back secton and definitely felt disconnected from the show, one might find themselves getting sleepy. read more

I've seen a couple Cirque shows, and this one was the worst of them all. I spent the first hour wondering when the circus aspect would begin (it was play-fighting scenes the entire time). The acrobatic/circus acts that did appear were not very memorable or spectacular. The stage set and production were impressive, but I was really hoping for more acrobatic or classic circus acts. We wanted to check out another Cirque du Soleil show and heard good things about KA. We arrived at MGM and wanted to get our bearings. Their store next door was open with show merchandise. Concerned about their no-bag policy printed on our tickets, I asked the staff there. She reassured me that even with backpacks, we would be ok to enter but they would do a bag check. We arrived 20 minutes before and they had multiple lines for guests to line up at. The check in process was smooth and easy. They had staff directing guests all the way up to their sections. Being that this is our second show, after seeing O a couple years before, the acrobatics weren't as impressive scale-wise. There were still beautiful scenes and imagery with great music. The storyline was not as cohesive with random scenes and not a lot of synchronized group performances. Still fun to see a new show while visiting. read more

The performers are incredibly talented, the action sequences are intense, and the stage design is absolutely mind-blowing. The way the stage moves, rotates, and transforms throughout the show makes the whole experience feel immersive and dynamic. The musical score is also beautiful and really adds to the overall atmosphere. My wife and I both really enjoyed the show and it was one of the highlights of our Vegas trip. The only reason I'm giving it 4 stars instead of 5 is because the storyline can be a little confusing at times, and some parts of the show felt a bit slow or even a little boring between the big action scenes. But when the action kicks in, it's seriously impressive and reminds you why Cirque du Soleil shows are so popular. Helpful tip: don't sit in the very front row. You'll actually get a better view of the full stage and effects if you sit somewhere in the middle section, a few rows back. I had not ever seen a Cirque du Soleil production and I was impressed. The auditorium was very interesting! There were multiple levels to the stage, as well as lots of different features for the performers to hang from or swing from. Not only that, but they utilized a large platform that could change positions, so that the performers could climb onto or stand upon. There wasn't a crazy amount of speaking to understand the story, you really have to watch the movements, and appreciate the effort that's put into the choreography, music, and stage production. We did sit in the second half of the auditorium, so the performers did walk right in front of us (hence why we couldn't rest our drinks on the ledge in front of us). So I probably would agree with other reviewers to not sit in the front rows, because you won't get to appreciate what's happening around the auditorium (from behind, and the sides of the stage). We were told by one of the LV uber drivers that KA is probably the best of the Cirque du Soleil shows currently being offered, for what it's worth. read more

Ka is fun but it's less art than simple exhibition. Think of Ka as a blend of Chinese acrobatics, flashy visuals, and loud sounds (some of which somewhat resemble music). I perceive the target market focuses on 12 year olds. Nonetheless, Ka has some entertainment value. Ka involves much running, jumping, and some acrobatic scenes. Several scenes seemed to be add time fillers such as the shadow puppets and baton twirling. Overall duration: show is 90 minutes, recommend arriving 10 minutes early at most. I can't express how much I loved this Cirque du Soleil performance, it was fantastic! It is located in MGM Grand Hotel and Casino. Firstly, my husband and I arrived 5 minutes just before the showtime started at 7pm on Sunday. The staff were friendly and directed us to our seats. Our seats were Section 103 Row G Seats 3-4 and they were great seats! We were super close to all the action and could see the actors' faces while they performed. The show's performers used the aisles around us and also glided above our heads, so I truly felt immersed in the show. This Cirque du Soleil show tells a narrative of a young brother and sister who get separated after their kingdom is attacked. The actors do a wonderful job of telling the story without the use of traditional dialogue. Boring and hard to understand are critiques I was reading about in other reviews and I feel like we did not watch the same show at all as the storyline is very clear and easy to follow. The acrobatics and stunts performed were insane to watch and it kept me on the edge of my seat. They managed to have some humorous moments too as well as small moments of romance. The stage production and the effects were the top of its technological advancement. The music score was beautiful and fitting for an Asian inspired Epic. The fact that they put this show on every week is wild to me because it's like watching a live action martial arts movie. Such talented performers, an epic narrative, great and intense action, immersive and dynamic stage settings, and a beautiful music score. There was constant action and the stage movements incredible.KA is the only Cirque show that has a clear narrative that follows two Imperial Twins separated by war. Now having the chance to see KÀ twice (about ten years ago at that), I can say with confidence that their show in 2026 is nothing like what I recalled seeing the first go-around. There were similar elements that were featured in both shows; however, it was done so differently that I felt like I was seeing a brand new show altogether. Your experience starts in the lobby where you can get your snacks and drinks for the seats, which is ideal so you don't miss the show during the performance. Once you begin walking into the theater, your mouth will drop when you realize how massive this theater is. I feel it's one of the largest theaters that Cirque du Soleil features and trust when I say they utilize the entire space for the show. We appreciated the seats having their own individual audio and with our seats in the pit and being a couple rows away from the stage it felt super immersive. The performers are amazing and the stage is unbelievable! The stage has multiple platforms that lift and shift in a wide variety of ways allowing for a unique experience. I'm truly amazed at how wonderful this show was! Sometimes, the age makes a show feel "dusty" but Ka is truly the whole package! If you're looking for something youre likely not going to find anywhere...something that can only really be done in Vegas....something that will transport you somewhere else and wow you for more than an hour- this is it! The value packed into this show may be 3 to 4 times the cost of the ticket for admission. While it does have some of the acrobatics that have come to be synonymous with Cirque Du Soleil, it was not as impressive as the others. It does have somewhat of a storyline that is difficult to follow. The dialog is non-existent as they speak gibberish that has no meaning. I had high hopes for this show after the previous Cirque Du Soleil shows we've seen but it just didn't deliver. As I'm writing this review my current ranking for these shows would be: 1. Mystere 2. Auana 3. O 4. Ka The caveat to this being that we saw Mystere back in 2006 or 2007 so I am unable to speak to the quality of the show now. I do remember that there were much more impressive acrobatics and gymnastics than the other 3 but no real storyline. read more

My husband and I decided to go see a show while in Las Vegas. My husband got us tickets online. He downloaded them and printed them. When we arrived he had the tickets ready to show the person checking the tickets upon entering the venue. The KÀ Cirque Du Soleil show is in a large theatre located in the MGM Grand Hotel and Casino. Once you get into the venue there are displays with costumes and props that you can look at. There are also clean bathrooms. The show is funny with constant movement and action. The Performers are all over the place and get very close to the audience at times. The show is about an hour and a half but it's so fast paced with so much going on that the time goes by quickly. Overall it was a great show. The theatre was nice, the performers did an awesome job, and the show was entertaining. read more

Maybe the most amazing show of any kind I have ever seen. We got sixth-row seats through a summer promotion for $50, and maybe it's less impressive from the back row. That's the only way I can explain someone not giving this show five stars. Hell, ten! You don't really need to follow the plot. The spectacular stagecraft -- rocking shipwreck, archery battles, human pachinko -- is punctuated by gentle, quiet moments of emotion and humor like the underwater rescue, shadow puppets, and sea turtle. The music is extraordinary. I am at a loss for words. I was literally trying to think of the best shows of my life. I saw the original Broadway cast of the Producers; Bruce Springsteen at Wrigley Field; the Lincoln Center revival of South Pacific. Each left me in awe in a different way. This was my first Cirque du Soleil and was not sure what to expect. It was sadly disappointing and underwhelming. I know that the stage being vertical is a challenge for the performers having to scale the wall and it is rotation so it is alot of work, but I was just not impressed with swinging. The show in my description is alot of running, swinging, yelling, flashing lights, but limited aerobatics. The music is too loud to hear the woman sing. She has a lovely voice, but you can barely hear her. The costumes are nice and again the flashing lights and loud sounds and swinging performers above you, it is alot of stuff going on, but it is mostly swinging and not alot of aerobatics. The hand puppet show at roughly 1 hour mark is weird. The beach scene with creatures was cute, but odd. I think this show is perfect for a 10 year old boy. WOW!!! This was my 4th Cirque du Soleil show and I'm absolutely blown away! Honestly, I don't understand people leaving bad reviews saying there wasn't enough acrobatics. Sure, maybe there's less of it than in some other Cirque shows, but that's not the focus here, and not every show has to be all about risky stunts! Here's what really stood out to me: - The stage technology is mind-blowing! Real arrows flying across the stage, hitting the floor right next to the main characters; a massive moving platform that changes shape, lighting, and even rotates 360° - pure genius! - The martial arts scenes are incredible. The final battle in the air was Absolutely brilliant - something I would've never even imagined. - The music gives you chills. The sound quality is insane, and the speakers are built into every seat so you're literally inside the music! - The immersion is unreal. You genuinely feel like you've stepped into another world. There wasn't a single dull moment - the 2 hours flew by like 20 minutes. As one of our friends said, "I've never tried mushrooms, but I think this is what people experience when they do." That's honestly the best way to describe how trippy and captivating some of the scenes are. There were 8 of us, and every single one left amazed. Don't think twice - grab those tickets! I have been wanting to watch another show in Vegas and thought a Cirque du Soleil show would make a great night out with my whole family. There were 15 of us total and KA was the "middle ground" choice. It had good reviews, but wasn't quite as pricey as "O" so it would be affordable for everyone in our group. The theater is about a 5-10 minute walk from the parking lot. There was a whole line of people outside of the theater when we got there, but it moved fast and we were able to get to our seats quickly. It's not an overly large theater so you have a pretty good view no matter where you sit. Now, I really wanted to love the show, but I felt like it left a lot to be desired. I honestly fell asleep quite a few times throughout the whole thing even though we watched the early 4:30 pm show. I tried, I really tried to stay up since it was my idea to watch the show, haha. I read it's one of the few/only shows with a storyline, but for me, it was hard to follow. I also expected quite a bit more acrobatics and "wow" moments, but it fell short for me. The only other show I've watched is Mystere and I felt like even that would've been a better choice for everyone. There were a few scenes that I found intriguing, like when it was a "forest/flower" scene and the actors were flying and twirling over the audience. That scene was beautiful, but overall... I don't know that I would recommend this show or watch it again. read more

What a fantastic show! I'm Speechless... almost. The set was so imaginative - both on and off stage. Especially when the platform goes full tilt from flat to fully vertical, insane!! (Gasp, with the actors on it!) There's a scene where a ship swings fully side to side like it's about to leave the stage or as if it could tilt too far over. The acrobatics were incredible, such immense talent on the stage and in the stands. Yes, the actors come out from off the stage and swing from above, run across the top of the side walls, and interact with the audience throughout the show. This was quite the experience! Even the seats had built-in speakers to enhance our show experience. Cirque du Soleil produces shows unlike any other show in Vegas. This was my first time seeing one and after reading all the reviews, it was hard to pick one. But this story in particular is why we chose it. Truth be told, I had to read a show synopsis and watch an online video to see an explanation of it before going. It was very helpful despite some of the spoilers. I've heard that's a Cirque thing though where all of their shows are themed and the stories are not always easy to follow. But the theatrics is stunning. The set design is so creative and the acrobatics are out of this world. When in Vegas, you gotta check out one Cirque show just to experience their version of entertainment. Ariel acts, wheel of death are a few of the acts you will see. There are snacks and drinks available for purchase water is about 6 dollars. They have popcorn and candy as well as alcoholic beverages. As you walk in the show looks like it's going to be amazing there are people standing above you making noises and jumping around. The stage looks incredible and so well designed. And after about one sentence of introduction the show starts and you really don't know what's going on. There should be some type of narration or story telling to let you know what the actors are doing especially since the stage is so wide. Also the people with cell phones (even though they say a million times not to film) completely ruin it for you the lights that come off of them are so distracting. I wish they were stricter with stopping people. I've been to lots of shows in Vegas this one was not worth it. read more
