I went in wanting to buy some designer glasses and another customer was already running around the store trying to get someone to open the cases to try on some glasses. Once she found help for us, I asked if I could try a couple on too. I was told by the sales associate that only one person at a time can be helped. Fine. I waited for another 10 minutes for the other client to choose which glasses she would buy. The sales associate then told me she had to go help them at the register and needed to find the cases for the glasses too. Another 15 minutes went by. At that point I just left. They're clearly not interested in making a sale. Such a shame because before this lock up situation, I used to buy all my glasses from this location. Looks like I'll need to find another store.

My mom and I visited today to get some new sneakers. My mom walks with a cane and was disappointed…read morethat her favorite walking shoes were no longer being made. All was not lost as Sylvia was helping us and offered several different options for my mom to try. She was super helpful, even helping my mom get the shoes on and lacing them up. I can't remember the last time I've seen that level of assistance in a shoe store. She was absolutely fantastic with my mom, answering questions and even showing her a special way of lacing her sneakers to help prevent heel slippage. My mom ended up getting two pairs of shoes that she said were so comfortable, and raved about Sylvia to the woman at the register. I took a star off as I'm a size 11ish and can rarely find shoes that fit me-most shoes only had sizes up to 10 available, but I'm so glad my mom had such a great experience today.

I've been randomly coming to the Faneuil Hall Marketplace ever since I was a kid. The place was packed on a Saturday afternoon and a whole lot of people were trying to get some seafood, pizza, ice cream, baked goods, Italian, and various other things and it was cool to see this place still so lively so many years later. Now, I'll be honest here, the food I ate kind of sucked but that's just one of the vendors fault, not the entire hall so I'm still going to give this place five stars. The building itself is stunning and is one of the original buildings in the area (If i'm not mistaken) and has a long hall of different food vendors, seating upstairs, and some restaurants downstairs as well as mall kiosk like shops (get rid of the crappy temu vendors, please). Overall, There's like 50 different places you could eat at that will give you drastically different experiences, so why not come as much as you can given the opportunity. This trip was my first time in about 7 years and even though the food I got was not good, I don't regret coming back to Faneuil Hall and I will absolutely be coming back on my next trip to Boston.
