Truly appalling experience. I went to the store to make some returns. Chris, the alleged store manager, was extremely rude and resistant to conducting the return. Three weeks later, I am still waiting for my refund. Per my call with customer service on Monday, it's because the store has yet to record the return or send the items back. I am owed hundreds of dollars. I have been a longtime customer of the brand but I will never visit this store again and recommend the same for anyone not 1000% sure of their purchase or who makes their purchase online. read more

What a great shopping experience! I came to Beverly Center to do some Christmas shopping for myself the Saturday after Black Friday. There were still so many great sales! I was looking for a new purse and wallet and am a big Michael Kors fan. The staff greeted me with such warmth and told me about the awesome 20% off sale they were having! I was immediately helped by this awesome sales associate Chris! I browsed and looked all kind kind of goodies. I ended up with a beautiful bag and matching wallet. Ignore the many faux bitches and middle-aged snobs who "work" at Louis Vuitton a few doors down, who seem to think that because they wear designer suits to their job it makes them lawyers or Wall Street stock slangers, or something other than what they are: retail employees at a shopping mall, who live in one bedroom apartments and lease Audis they couldn't pay off if they lived to be a hundred. -- they make their [few] friendly, helpful coworkers look bad, and paint the whole "LV" brand with an acronym of "Loser Ville", population TACKY (if you MUST buy Louis Vuitton in the area, go to the Century City location -- they're far more polite). But back to Michael Kors -- I wanna be like Mike! Such a fun place -- youthful staff (the men are mostly FLAME-ing gay, in the most entertaining, innocuous way), but they'll treat you so well, regardless of your age, regardless of your dress, regardless of whether you're straight, gay, or one or more points in between. Expect to be complimented on your threads, even if you're wearing sweats. The minute you come in, they're all over you -- not to spy on you or shoo you away from the better dressed clientele, but to see how you're doing, and how they can help. If you indicate you want attention, they'll give it... -- But if you let on that you're just browsing, they hang back. Such an amazing concept! I believe at one time it was called "good customer service." The staff are all the more storegasmic because they realize they're working in a higher end shoppe, but never let that fact go to their heads, to fool themselves into thinking that they're insiders in the fashion industry and too important to help you. So many selections at this store, too! If you saw it in the last issue of WWD or Vogue Italia, it's here. Prices are high (of course), but not Loser Ville high. Like all stores, the employees at MK Beverly Center suggest add-ons to your purchases, so if you buy a purse or shoes, expect the speech about how you simply must buy the leather care spray (gurrrl!) Word to the wise, honey -- buy it. That MK handbag isn't the most expensive thing out there, but you don't want to blow another paycheck on replacing it, do you? I have to give a special thanks to Robby at Michael Kors. I came in to request that Michael Kors make a vegan handbag. Robby was so accommodating and told me he would get my request as high up the corporate ladder as he could. He also took down my contact info in case they did get in any vegan handbags in the future. The next day he called me and let me know they'd gotten in a handbag made of all man-made materials. Since I live across town and this handbag wasn't on the website he offered to take a digital photo and email it to me, which is did that evening. Although it wasn't the color I was looking for, his service was exceptional, and I hope that Michael Kors will continue to make more vegan handbags! read more

There is a certain something that Michael Kors, as a designer, offers that other brands don't. I have given this store two stars solely based on poor customer service. It is in no way relevant to the designer. I probably shop in this mall at least once per week. I've been to this store several times and there is a really tall, beautiful brown skinned woman who usually helps me, but she must have been off the other day. I walked in with several shopping bags in hands already. It should have been obvious that I wasn't there to window shop. I entered simultaneously with an older woman and for whatever reason she was greeted by at least two employees. One of them even approached her to ask her if she needed any help finding anything. Keep in mind that it was a week day and the store was not busy. There was another employee standing near center floor and she totally ignored me as well. I really wanted to purchase a wallet for one of my friends, a few bracelets, and another color of the espadrille flats that I already own. To be certain that I wasn't imagining things, I continued to look at the shoes so I had to obviously walk all the way in the store....still nothing! I am extremely big on customer service. They could have easily made over $500 in sales from me had I been greeted upon entry. Why would I purchase from a store who does not appreciate my business? I will avoid this store in the future unless it is absolutely necessary. I love this store's selection and it's convenient location, but the sales associates on the floor need work. Wow. After being told at Macy (where I bought my MK watch that they couldn't replace my missing link without a proof of purchase (totally understandable) I thought I'd give the store a try. I was greeted with smiles and they not only replaced my missing link but replaced the ones that looked in bad shape. Free of charge for everything. I'm so impressed with their customer service. Other stores should take a note from these guys. I will be back without a doubt. read more

Reggie doesn't work here anymore which means I prob won't come back. I've gone a few other times & haven't met another salesperson who has come close. The other ones aren't very helpful at all and are slightly annoying. The manager Chelsea is awesome though :) I def will head to another MK store in LA before coming back here. read more

Morgan was amazing! So is Julian and everyone else here at Michael kors ...she helped me out choosing a watch then showed me other watches and really cared about me. She sure showed it from beginning to end and on top of that she wrapped my gift which she didn't have to but wanted to. She has amazing service hands down and the type of person she is as well. I love the brand, the product and usually the service. I've shopped at several location in Los Ángeles and Las Vegas. Never have I felt humiliated as I did Sunday 7/1/18 at about 3ish to 4ish. Walking into the Beverly center location, I was looking around for a new purse and as I'm looking through different ones I come across this really cute purse and as I'm looking at it and I'm about to pull the tag to look at the price., I hear a voice walking towards me saying something along the lines of, "let me save you trouble of digging for the price tag, it's $7hundred and something dollars. Which made me feel super awkward and uncomfortable. Just the way he said, made me feel like if he was mocking someone who was just digging fir prices. It was rude to me that he used those words. My 19 yr old daughter was with me and even walked away because she felt embarrassed. I felt so dumb that I didn't even notice if any other customer was around. I just wanted to get out of there. Your products can be pretty pricey and not everyone has the luxury of just grabbing an item and purchasing it without looking at the price first. I think your sales people should approach your customers in a different way because everyone situation is different and the way I was approach by you sales rep wasn't very welcoming. read more

I originally went to the Grove looking for a dress for my birthday and had an horrible experience. Feeling discouraged I came to the Beverly Center and my spirits were lifted. Went here to get some Christmas shopping done, purchased a hand-bag for the wife with matching wallet and a hand-bag for my daughter. Spent just over $600 and the staff was friendly, even the sales people who were not getting a commission from our sale were nice and struck up conversations with us. They even reminded us to validate since we spent over $250 which I didn't know about. The male staff members are not straight (the two working that night at least) but they were pretty nice to us and so that is what really mattered, good customer support! Will return again, if the wife and daughter want more... :) read more

Ordered a pair of shoes online, quality was terrible. Went to return them immediately at the store across from where I live and they they said it has to be done online.... here we go... the delay began. The guy at the store told me "it's super easy" to just drop it off in any mailbox on your way. If I knew of this online return bull crap, I would have never bought it. It was such a hassle. I had to find a box to put the shoes in, attach the slip, drive around to find a mailbox that DOESN'T EXIST. Mailboxes don't even take packages anymore. The box sat in the back of my car for a couple weeks consistently bothering my family and taking up space during our move to another home. I eventually found a FedEx store where the package was denied again.. found a UPS store that accepted it, (or vise versa). Finally it was sent away! Very long and annoying experience... especially since after ALL OF THAT, the shoes were sent back to me saying I went 30 days over the policy! Called right away, spoke with Jonathan the manager about the situation and he told me to send pictures of the shoes, which I did immediately.. and long behold, I get an email right after saying my claim was denied. I'm absolutely livid. The shoes weren't even opened. The plastic and paper was still packaged in the shoe. Jonathan mentioned by sending these photos (showing they haven't been worn), they would be able to go through with the return. I spent an hour on the phone with him and sent the darn pictures! Ugh the nerve and time waisted. Never will buy anything from them again. read more

Wow! This Michael Kors store is awesome! I think it was the great customer service I received while shopping here on Saturday. I was on a mission to find a new dress, as I'm updating my wardrobe and I'm a low key fashionista. I walked into Michael Kors last Saturday afternoon, usually at this time of day the associates are swamped or irritated, not at Michael Kors. They had a good amount of customers but I felt like I was the only one in there the way they dotted on me. I forgot the name of the girl that helped me but she was a young African-American girl, with long curly hair and she was also very pretty. Anyways, she talked me into trying on a long sleeve mini dress and she even went and got me a pair of shoes so I could visualize how the dress will look with heels. I really felt like she went out of her way to make me feel comfortable. I really loved the dress but I had her hold it so I could do some more shopping in the mall. I didn't buy that particular dress after all (I found a cute Ted Baker dress at Bloomies... shhhh!!) but I will for sure go back to Michael Kors and shop very soon. Plus, all their spring line is out! woohoo! read more

They kept told me that since I did not get severe injury, they could not refund , exchange or credit for future.They told me to keep the useless shoes. I will through away these defected shoes. 5 stars for excellent customer service. Talked to Steven over the phone about a problem with one of the wristlets I bought for my girlfriend 6 months ago. He assured me it would be fine and taken care of he had me come in and when I do what happens? he says they don't repair those and asks me for a receipt when I strictly told him I no longer had it since it had been 6 months ago. He had to talk to the manager(petite small woman) wish I had gotten her name to mention her. I truly believe she went out of her way to get my problem solved after having a small talk with her she was able to swap out the damaged part but did not have the right color so she swapped out the entire wristlet! how cool is that?! She made my day and my girlfriend loved her replacement and after all was able to fully take advantage of the wristlet again. I will come back because of the great customer service she provided me. Hope she gets recognized for a job well done and keeping customers happy. Michael Kors is my new fashion addiction , and all the employees at the Beverly Center location are great, especially Chris. He was so welcoming and helpful, I'm not a ppl person but I felt like I had known him for years. I had came in the store because some shoes caught my eye but they didn't have them in my size so Chris suggested another style that i hadn't even considered but once i tried them on they looked so fly and fit like they were made for me I had to buy them and my fiance bought me a wristlet (purse) to match. I must say that if the customer service was bad I never would have bought anything, so often I go into stores to purchase but change my mind when I am chased away by bad customer service. read more

I never write reviews, but a few weeks ago I visited the Beverly Center for the first time. I decided to stop by the MK store. The staff was very friendly. Everyone introduced themselves to me and offered their assistance. Since I work for the company I usually don't get good service at MK stores, but the staff here are amazing! I will definitely be shopping here more often even if I have to drive an hour to get there. The store manager at this location, Mitch, is unbelievably rude, condescending and offensive. It baffles me how he can be the one in charge of the store when his customer service and overall demeanor is the worst out of everyone there. During a recent visit to Beverly Center Mall this past weekend, a friend and I stopped by Michael Kors to check out the new Fall collection. After looking through the apparel section my friend found a t-shirt that she felt was somewhat random and at odds with the rest of the collection. Offended, as if he designed the shirt himself, Mitch had the audacity to tell her that she should learn how to "control her face better when looking at something you don't like." Why he felt the need to even insert himself in a private conversation between her and I is still beyond me, but he even took it so far as to say no one cares about her opinion and she should learn how to control her face just like he had to when we walked in the store. Completely taken aback and offended we quickly left, which was a shame as the rest of the team was so pleasant and friendly. I'm quite the Michael Kors aficionado and so everytime a new collection drops I love checking em out at his stores. One day my mom and I were casually shopping around and decided it was the perfect day to splurge so we came by this store and all the workers were super friendly. Big shoutout to the girl helping us out the entire time. We were in there for awhile trying shoes on and checking everything out and she was super helpful in showing us everything. We were hanging out by the jewelry for awhile and she was very attentive in letting us try it all on and sizing it for us. And afterwards they mail you a cute postcard for shopping there. read more

My local MK store did not have the sandals I wanted to they referred me to the MK store in Century city the shipped me the shoes I paid $288.00 for sandals. I waited two months to wear them for a special event only to open the box and find out that the sent me two left shoes in two different sizes. I am so disappointed what store does not check sizes before they send an item even the cheapest stores do that. Now I have no shoes and I'm at the mercy of the sales personel and praying they can locate these shoes in my size that are sold out everywhere and have been for months. I own 10 MK bags, 8 pairs of shoes and three watches, however I'm sad to say that if I do not get my shoes I will no longer purchase MK products. I know that people make mistakes but I've had no follow up from the store. I called again on my own and was told that I would get a right back and still have heard nothing.
