I ended up at this location because the Amherst store didn't have a lot of options in tall jeans. The associate called Niagara Falls and they put several pairs of jeans on hold for me. I drove over there right away (they close at 8pm on weeknights -- it's about a 15 minute drive or so) I have to say, I had a *completely* different customer service experience at this store, versus the Amherst store. There were two associates working, one of which was busy trying on different clothes in the dressing room while working. Hmmm. The other one (I shopped around 7pm on 1/31/17: female, 20's, black hair, multiple facial piercings, heavy set) never mustered a smile or even attempted anything bordering "friendly" or "welcoming." She retrieved my on-hold merchandise and put in the dressing room for me. When I was ready to check out, she was all business, but, again, not anything near what I would call "friendly." She did the bare minimum, checked me out, and off I went. No smile. No farewell. This location is much bigger than the Amherst location. They had a WAY larger selection of clearance merchandise as well. It's modern, well-kept (but it's also a very new store so I'd be shocked if it wasn't.) My one complaint: the music was LOUD. I don't mind fun music in the store to get you in the mood to do some shopping... but this was so loud I couldn't hear the associate when she asked me what name my hold was kept under.

Brooks Brothers Outlet - they make things just for it…read more Years ago I learned Brooks Brothers makes things specifically to sell at their outlet stores. So the things you see there are often not the ones you might see in the Brooks Brothers store in NYC. That's ok, its still well made and the like, but its a little misleading having the "retail price" on the ticket when you were not selling it at retail. I like this location better than the other two I frequent, but its very hit or miss for us. When its hit, its great, we find many things that work. When its a miss, its a total zero for us. But that's ok, we don't come to the mall just for this store. Although its always our first stop once here because its well located by the parking lot and they have an entrance from the parking lot. Its my favorite location because its the largest, best laid out, has super helpful staff and is overall always pleasant.

I get a lot of shells/tanks to wear under cardigans for work, and sometimes can get some work pants, but only one of the style cuts works for me, so I am limited in my size. Pants, unless on clearance, can be pricey. Today, I got two long sleeved tops and a shell for $22! Style selection can vary. It goes from sometimes a ton of work wear, then they have a phase of more casual stuff. They do usually have a decent variety of most sizes. Pants go from 0 to 18, and tops XS - XL. Store is neat and organized. My job keeps me moving, so I have to wash my stuff frequently. I haven't had any problems with stuff fading,stretching out, or getting worn. It holds up great in the wash and from me jumping up and down at my job! I did have once instance when they were a pain with coupons. I get their emails and was told that the limitation on the bottom of "excludes all other offers" meant that it couldn't be used on ANYTHING that had any sort of sale, which is basically the whole store as most of these places mark everything up and then advertise a sale. So only the one rack of suit coats pretty much that were full price could be used. This was like only a 15% coupon, too. I did not have that issue before. I understand the super low "Final Sale" leftover clearance is exempt, but not sure what that supervisor's problem was. The clerk that was checking me out that day tried to run it through, but was apologetic. All sales people otherwise have been very helpful and accommodating, regardless if you are buying expensive suit sets or bargain items. Fitting room employees offer to grab you another size or style as needed. I have had their credit card (shares w/ LOFT, another Ann Taylor brand) only for a short time. Most of the deals seem to come with the full price store (which I just heard is closing at the Walden Galleria), but I'll keep coming here for good basic work wear!

The high end department store Saks Fifth Avenue sends items here that haven't sold on their retail racks and greatly reduces them. I'll occasionally stop in here and while much here doesn't fit my liking the vast variety of items usually has me finding a bargain. I recently found a Tumi coat here for a fraction of what I would have paid for at retail. Now that we have a grandson we really enjoy finding clothing for him here. The staff here is always helpful and friendly. Today my wife and I remarked how every employee we encountered greeted us with a very cheerful hello and made sure we were finding what we were looking for.

The usual pricing markup seems a bit unrealistic though, especially considering these fast fashion staples are often "on sale" for 40% or more off. That said, the regular markdowns and sales events make it affordable to pick up pieces for the season as needed. Sizing has been somewhat variable too, inconsistent between even the T-shirts, some fitting perfectly others not so much. Overall the associates and sale prices make J. Crew Factory a go to place for our family.
