I have been seeing Dr. Tahery for about 15 years. He has a good bedside manner which I appreciate. I have seen plenty of doctors throughout my life who pale in comparison, and although this doctor does charge a lot for his services, you have decide if its worth it to you. It hasn't been a problem because I have insurance to cover it. I have always been able to get in to see him right away and he would even address problems over the phone and call in prescriptions for minor problems. However, this was the first time I was informed that if I wanted to see him the same week it would be a $500 out of pocket fee. This is something new and disheartening so I guess I won't be seeing him for an urgent manner. His office staff is nice and very efficient. It would be great if they modernized their business and gave patients electronic access to test results and records. read more

This Dr has been the last on a long list of urologists that I've gone to and the 1st to actually make me feel heard . The good: this is one of the only OBGYN I can find that does numbing for IUD insertions. Dr. Tahery seemed knowledgeable and caring, as he answered all of my questions The bad: If you get numbing for an IUD insertion they do it in a surgical suite under a different name and tax code, and they don't tell you if the surgical suite in or out of network with your insurance until the week before the appointment. I suspect this is done on purpose to get extra money out of patients. The surgical suite is called "Central surgical center Glendale" so if you have any procedures scheduled you should double check it's in network with your insurance before you book it, otherwise they will charge you a boatload of money and your insurance will shrug and say there's nothing they can do. Edit; I just got off the phone with my insurance to double check and sure enough they confirmed they balance billed me! They charged me an extra $391 dollars they shouldn't have, but now I'm getting it refunded. read more

Very dismissive of my concerns. Just trying to prescribe and sell you anything. I knew no better since I was going to this Dr. since I was a teen. Had no other opinions of any other Dr. thought I trusted him but he missed some reallyyyy big things in my health that I've found out later. I have been seeing Dr.Tahery since 2009. This doctor was meant to be gynecologist. He knows exactly what he's doing and I wish we had more doctors like him. Dr. Tahery knows all about women's health and I personally feel very comfortable and safe with him. Not even once this doctor let me down and in return I'm being a very "faithful" patient. I've had many procedures done here from having my second baby to polyp removal, and endless infections treatment to "you name it I got it" things but every time I felt like I was in good hands and could trust my life to this doctor! Dr. Tahery is so good that when I switched to an insurance that he doesn't take, I paid out of pocket because I didn't trust anyone else! I've went through several sensitive situations this year, so I've seen him more than my primary care doctor, and in every situation his bedside manner has been 15/10. He is thorough, never rushes me, and just provides a safe space which is just so critical in an obgyn yet truly hard to find these days. Dr. Tahery is a rare breed of doctors who actually LISTENS to his patients. He does not dismiss you and think he always knows better. He does not talk down to his patients. I say these things because that's what some other obgyns did to me. The last one ignored my pain to the point of negligence and it was Dr. Tahery who helped me when I went to him for a second opinion. He was literally a life saver! He takes the time to explain things and he wants to know how you're doing. He asks about your gyno health in ways others don't, like how's your sex life? Can you achieve orgasm? He compounds his own probiotics for your gut health, and he is very caring and concerned about your overall health and happiness. He spends the time to take care of you.
