I arrived exactly 15 mins ahead and was done with the "paperwork" in only about 5 minutes. I was directed to a room behind the front desk where I was told someone would be with me at my appt time. At 1:24pm, I was still sitting in the waiting room. I went to the front desk and asked where my esthetician was and she said she didn't know. I have twin toddlers and only had someone to watch my kids for my specified appointment time and was concerned that we were running very late and I suggested rescheduling. The receptionist said she would let me know and asked me to go back to the waiting room. At 1:28pm, my esthetician got me from the waiting room, and directed me to the 2nd room on the right- where I expressed that I wanted to get started right away- I didn't want her to leave and disappear for 5 more minutes and take away from my time. Her exact words were " we are still within the window of your appointment and the person before you had a medical emergency" that's why she said she was late. She left the room anyway even though I was already ready on the table and came back at 1:35pm. 20 mins into my appt time. I took photos with timestamps to show the exact timing for my 60 minute facial. The facial was sub-par. Nothing really custom or special about it- I was steamed and massaged longer than anything. I was completely finished, dressed and out the door by 2:17pm. Less than a 40 minute facial that I paid $130 AND TIPPED 20% for. I asked for a supervisor to reach out to me- to absolutely no avail. I will be reaching out again today hopefully for some resolution- a credit at the very least is expected but I am PISSED to say the least. I work in esthetics myself and would never treat a client this way especially if I was running late into THEIR time. Respect clients times and make sure they get what the pay for. Absolutely awful experience. Update: I called again the day I left this review and asked for a manager. The girl I spoke to was badgering me for details even though I wished to keep it private and just get a manager on the phone. She advised me that someone was on their way to the Oceanside location and would call me within the hour. It is now 3 days later and no call back. I saw the response from the business manager on here, left me feedback and will likely not get a response for another week.

With that said, I am pretty picky with who I go with because I look for certain things to be done. I want a therapist to be consistent. I have gone to pretty much every therapist, some are okay and some are not for me. I work inside and outside, I go to the gym 4x a week, I lift weights. My body is beat up from accidents, work, gym and life. I started going to Sushila this year and out of all the therapists, I find her being the best for me. She works on relaxation, light to medium pressure which I like. I'm not a big fan of 60 mins as I feel like it's not enough time to really give the body the love it needs so I usually do 90 min sessions. Sushila listens and does focus on whatever body part you tell her; from feet/legs, hands, quads, back, neck/head. I schedule 90 mins massages every week with Sushila because I enjoy the de-stress and relaxation. Also, I find that she's the only one to use a hot towel which I enjoy.
