When I knew we'd be staying in Greenville and that I wanted to buy a home versus continuing to rent, the first person I thought of was Heather Stepp. I knew she was a real estate agent from our social interactions as parents whose kiddos attend the same school as well as through her work with our Girl Scout Troop, so I reached out to her and asked if she would be willing to help me and my young daughter find a place to call our own. She replied right away that she would be thrilled to help us, and she genuinely was and remained so throughout the process. Not only was she up for showings whenever we could fit them into my crazy schedule, but once we'd narrowed down where I wanted to buy, she made sure she got immediate notification of a new listing. In fact, the house I ended up purchasing was one she was made aware of going up for sale, and we were able to tour it and make an offer the day it was listed! During the sale process, she played BOTH agents' roles as the selling agent was apparently still in "vacation mode" because she passed a lot of things that should have been her responsibility back to Heather. Heather made sure that nothing fell through the cracks throughout the process from offer to negotiation to due diligence and on to a successful closing. She was personally in attendance when the inspections/contractor reviews were scheduled so that I didn't have to worry about taking time off or squeezing those in. She provided excellent recommendations for the inspectors (both home & pest), contractor (to estimate repair costs), a painter (I wanted to make some color changes in the interior), and other various craftsmen to help me and my daughter make our new home truly ours. Heather has also checked in on us to see how the moving process and renovations are going, and she is always available if I need suggestions and referrals. I couldn't be more satisfied working with a real estate agent, and I am happy to give Heather the highest recommendation for anyone looking to buy or sell property in and around the Greenville area!

I did so and I have been getting the "run around" ever since about when repairs will be made. Their bootlegged repairmen did come by to "fix" a couple of things, if that's what you want to call it. My 9 year old nephew could have done a better job. There are still several things that need to be fixed and I believe 2 months has been plenty of time to fix them! When my husband and I…read morewere first looking to move to the area I did a quick search for real estate agents on Yelp, Ryan's paged looked great and since it said he responded to Yelp messages typically within an hour (because who wants to pick up a phone?!) I figured I would reach out to see if he had any last minute availability to show us to a few properties and he did. Although Ryan's office is based in Chapel Hill don't let that deter you, we were only looking in Raleigh. He knows all the ins and outs of the Raleigh neighborhoods and can get here quickly when you need him. We went under contract only two weeks after working with him. He uses Patrick with a local home inspection company to do the inspection and he did a thorough job. After the great inspection Ryan said the only thing left he could think of was a metal detector test of the property, since the house was older and there was a small chance of an underground oil tank. We did the test not thinking much of it and turns out there was an underground tank and it had extensively leaked. Ryan and his assistant Karen headed up making all the appointments and getting the right people out there to deal with the issue. Sadly the seller didn't want to really deal with the issue so away that contract went. Since Ryan knew what we were looking for was kind of niche he sent us a property here and there and we kept our eyes open as well. When a house popped up on the market on a Thursday night we text him if he could meet us there the next morning to take a look. He did and we feel in love. We put an offer in that day and started the process all over again. The second time around we worked with Karen a lot and she is great to work with as well. We successfully closed on this house and love where we ended up. An additional note since Ryan works in a group with a few other real estate agents if you need to see a house in a hurry and he isn't available, he will coordinate with someone in his office who is. Team work for the win!

Agent didnt teturn calls for available listing that I wanted to see until weeks later. Unfortunately houses were sold by then. Unless you have a large budget to spend look elsewhere for buying a house.

Rosie was our agent and she showed us houses in our range and when it was time to purchase she kept things moving. She gave us a pre warning on how things would likely go and as I said she kept everybody moving forward. Things I needed to do, the bank, and anyone else involved in the process. It has been a few months and I still feel good about everything. I am trying to think of any negative that I experienced and it just is not coming to my mind. My guess is the other agents would give similar service that we received from Rosie.
