I came in for a consultation for bankruptcy in February 9th (Thursday). He promised me we would be able to file towards the end of the month of February. Paid the fees so we can start the process immediately. I gathered the necessary documents over the weekend and gave it to him on February 13th (Monday). I guess he didn't expect me to move as fast but I wanted to get it done as fast as possible. When I handed the documents he wasn't in his office so I left it with the secretaries. I called him the same day stating that I brought the documents, his response was to give him till next Monday to analyze everything and we'll most likely sign some paperwork that day also. Well 2 weeks go by I kinda figured he has other clients that were ahead of me so I gave him some slack. During March, he would make appointments with me to meet but every time the morning of he would make an excuse that he was stuck in court all day, he's at a doctor's appointment, or he mixed up his schedule. By April I was getting frustrated, at one point we made an appointment to meet but he told me morning of that he doesn't need me to come in because he'll just email me the documents that day. So I was waiting for the email checking my inbox and junk folder. So when I told him I didn't receive the email, the following day he told me that his home computer wasn't syncing with his work computer but I already knew that was a lie. So I just gave up on him and found a new bankruptcy lawyer. So moral of the story don't trust this guy.
