During the late summer this restaurant was offering take out only, and doing some fabulous family meal deals, so we decided to take advantage. We went for the Chicken Riggies meal which came with Utica Greens, salad, and bread! We also tried to snag some of their desert special, Spumoni cheesecake. After placing our order by phone we hung up. The nice gentleman realized afterwards they were out of the dessert, felt bad, and gave us a free order of their fried Ravioli appetizer! Pickup and easy and quick and the staff was super nice! This was quite the value. The pictures dont do the quantities justice! We got more than enough food for 3 people to have multiple meals! Id say these are my new favorite RIggies and greens! The salad was crisp and high quality with dressing that was perfect. The bread was fresh and hot. The ravioli were the right amount of crispy and came with good dipping sauce. If I personally still lived in the area, id be ordering this once a week! Also keep an eye out for their food truck during the summer months! I cant speak for dine in experience, as ive only done take out or food truck!

My fiancé and I getting ready to celebrate with our loved ones before the big day.

We had our rehearsal dinner for our wedding here the night before our big day. The owner and the bartender were incredible. The food was phenomenal, and our guests kept talking about it all night. They had a special room reserved just for us! We would recommend this place to anyone looking to host an event. Thank you for allowing us to stay as long as we needed; and for providing an experience that blew us out of the water.

I've been to this restaurant twice now, let me just say that the prices are really low for an Italian restaurant. Their tomato sauce is really delicious, and the sauce that comes with the Risotto Bites is amazing. Now, the downsides of this restaurant. The first time I visited my table ordered the Risotto Bites and when they came to our table the centers were cold. The most recent visit we tried to give them another try, but the centers were still cold. The Risotto Bites are also very flavorless and only taste good with the sauce. The grilled chicken is flat and seems frozen, and the chicken parm also has the same problem. Still, for the price the food is okay.

Fried Calamari drenched in oil and soggy which tells me fryer oil was dirty or not up to temp. Fried eggplant was very good along with the sauce. Fried risotto balls was very good. Server was a bit confused.

Mediocre food, bagged salad mix. Wednesday night, only 4 tables there. Quiet. Thankfully I had a gift certificate. Will never go back.

We visited over the weekend with friends who had dined there previously. Our 6:30 reservation was honored promptly upon arrival. The village setting is quaint, and the restaurant itself is warmly decorated--upscale enough to feel special but still relaxed and approachable. After being seated, our server presented the drink menu and specials. Our friends ordered the fried green tomatoes as an appetizer, along with the Steak Nicholas and the double smash burger. My wife selected the seafood special--a blackened salmon with lobster salad--while I opted for the Steak Nicholas as well. The food arrived in a timely manner and was everything was very good. My steak was perfectly cooked, complemented by the house Worcestershire sauce and compound butter. The fried green tomatoes were also well-prepared. The only disappointment at the table was the brown butter cake our friends ordered for dessert, which they found dry and lacking freshness. Where the experience fell short, however, was service. While our server was polite, she was difficult to find at times, leading to long waits for assistance. There was also some confusion when boxing up leftovers. The most significant issue arose when it was time to settle the bill. Our total came to $260, and we requested separate checks. Unfortunately, our server seemed very flustered and unsure of how to split the bill, and after some back-and-forth, she suggested dividing it evenly. We agreed simply to avoid further delay. However, when processing payment, the card charge came to $153 before tip--well above the correct half of the bill (approximately $130). Combined with our friends' $200 cash payment, the total ended up being $380, which inadvertently resulted in a very large gratuity - something we didn't realize until we had left the restaurant, as the confusion surrounding how to split the bill was frustrating and we simply wanted to head out. While we take responsibility for not carefully resolving the issue before leaving, the confusion around the bill frustrated us in the moment and left a negative final impression on an otherwise enjoyable meal. Overall: The food was excellent and worth trying, particularly the Steak Nicholas and seafood offerings. That said, service and billing procedures could benefit from improvement to ensure a smoother dining experience.

What really took the night to the next level were their cocktails, which are truly 10/10 crafted with care, balanced, and full of unique flavors. The friendly staff and welcoming atmosphere completed the experience. Nola's is definitely a top choice for anyone looking for great food and nice atmosphere to take your partner out on a date.

I've sat on this review for a week trying to decide if I wanted to share a not-so-flattering…read moreexperience. However, if there is a chance that Swifty's management may read this, along with fellow diners, it may be helpful for the future. The overall experience, food, and service was good. Clearly, this place and its 2 sister locations know how to be successful. But what we experienced could either be because a rogue chef or location manager is trying to cut corners - or - it could be the philosophy of the company to try and nickel-and-dime the customer to reduce costs and take advantage of those who won't notice. My boys and I ordered 20 wings to start, my oldest had a burger to follow, and my younger really wanted to focus on wings, so only ordered fries. I had the. Cheeseburger wrap with onion rings and coleslaw. Wings: crispy, tasty, and really good blue cheese. BUT...when they came to the table, the baskets looked light. So... WE COUNTED THEM. ONLY 17. My (as the menu clearly states) "half pound burger in a wrap" was probably 1/4 of a pound light. Wait til you see the photo. So, all the good service and reasonably good food was ruined by Swifty's trying to either take advantage of customers incrementally hundreds of times a day (order by order) - or - they have a location chef and manager who tolerate food leaving their kitchen that is not as advertised or up to the standard which allowed them to open 3 locations. It's one or the other. Will we be back? I don't know. We really wanted this to be great. We live in the Northwest Corner of CT, my son goes to college in Rochester, this location is literally (to the mile) half-way between. We make the trip weekly due to his athletics schedule. We wanted to be regulars. Will probably look elsewhere next time. 2 stars for the front of the house service. It was excellent. And the blue cheese dressing. It was fantastic. If you go - count your wings and make sure what the menu says is on your plate.
