Sorry no pictures. What a great dinner tonight at The Spaghetti Factory in Sylvan Beach. Chicken Parmigiana, grilled unbreaded, with mozzarella cheese and long hots over Pasta excellent. Shrimp Giovanni in garlic with mushrooms over pasta, extra yummy. Spicy chicken Italiano with long hots, mushrooms, onions in a spicy red wine was really good. Clams fried were also good. Stuffed pepper soup, always amazing and flavorful. Suffed cherry peppers. Extra delicious. Worth a drive down to the beach. Service was good. They have several areas to sit in, Garden area, Bar area and back room. Plus weather permitting outdoor seating. read more

We ate dinner on 3/22/26 for our anniversary. The service was excellent! We ate veal Marsala and chicken parm, both were a 7/10. My veal was a little tough but the entire dish was delightful. The chicken parm was cooked to perfection! The atmosphere was warm, inviting and clean! The staff were observant, friendly and everyone has a smile. Chicken parm is one of my favorite dishes. This is the worst chicken parm I have ever had. It came with a serrated steak knife but it was still hard to cut. My first bite was rubbery and crunchy at the same time. Not like a nice crisp breading, like a fresh pear. It was the weirdest thing. The chew felt extremely undercooked but it looked okay. I cut a second piece from the other side thinking it might have been some gristle and it was the exact same texture. I spit it out, it was so bad. I pushed it to the side and the waiter asked if I'd like it wrapped up. I said no and told him why. I never complain at restaurants but thought he should know. He said he'd let them know. He came back to the table several times after that, yet didn't say a word about the chicken. I thought for sure it would be taken off our bill but it wasn't. I see that one other review mentions rubbery chicken. And a different one mentions spitting hard chicken out. They need to figure out their chicken issues, there is no way this is fresh chicken. I also had a bug in my salad and my husband had a hair in his. We will never be back. read more

Tried the spaghetti factory with a large group to celebrate an anniversary. The manicotti was delicious and reasonably priced. They had a good wine list as well. We should've turned around at the door when they didn't have our reservation I made on their website. Garlic bread was a sandwich roll with what was maybe garlic butter. The French onion soup had no croutons- soup and cheese. The $16 Shrimp Parm app was atrocious- do not get this. No matter what- just don't. There was literally more Alfredo sauce than fettuccine- and I'm certain the grilled chicken was just something frozen they reheated. Despite the oil rivaling The Exxon Valdez spill, the chicken Marsala was decent. Does it negate the rest of the terrible meal? Definitely not but at least it was something. Chances of going back? I'd probably go get pancakes at Flo's instead. read more

The misses and I love this restaurant and it's just minutes from our home. The interior setting looks as if you entered a real Italian restaurant in Italy. We have been coming here for my husband's birthday for the last 10 years and sadly I think this might be the last year. I know this place is under new ownership the last few years and honestly you can see and taste a difference. My husband says the food is just not the same. He always gets the spaghetti and meatballs. Also I want to note that the Caesar salad comes with an Italian Caesar so if you want creamy you will have to ask for it. However I LOVED my meal! Their eggplant parmigiana was very good and their Alfredo sauce is very good! I would recommend these dishes if you come. They do have a variety of food choices though. I usually get their crab stuffed fish but the last time I had it, it wasn't good at all so I opted to try something else. Our waitress was very nice and checked on us a lot. I honestly felt a little rushed to get out of there but that could just be me. There is plenty of seating and we were able to get a reservation last minute which was nice since this place is always usually packed. And I do like how they have outdoor seating and they do have different dining rooms that have a different ambiance/theme to each of them. I would recommend this place since I loved my food but I am not sure I would recommend the spaghetti and meatballs (per my husband). read more

Stopped in for the first time and got the spaghetti meatballs with the garlic bread and everything was phenomenal. We drove all the way out there 20minutes away and we are blown out of our mind. Definitely will be back and highly recommend this place. read more

Had a late lunch/early dinner here today. I highly recommend this restaurant. The staff were friendly and welcoming, the service was spot on, the food was fantastic and the prices were very reasonable. Boyfriend and I went here on a Friday night recently. Dining room was full but not packed. Wish we could've had food, but we sat at a table for 15 minutes and no one even greeted us, except for the hostess who sat us. We ended up leaving after 4 waitstaff ignored us in the dining room. We told the manager on the way out, who apologized, but it was very disappointing since we were actively ignored. The food is just ok at this place. Not sure if we will go back. 3rd time here, decided to give it one more shot. Ambience is nice and the wait staff is really on par with the knowledge. The food, however, not so great. The clam chowder was flavorful but way too thick and chunky for my taste. I had the scampi, and it came looking like some pasta with butter on it and a few steamed shrimp. Nothing like what I have had at every other restaurant, maybe sauté it a bit in garlic and wine, like it's supposed to be. Hubby had the stuffed veal parmesan which he liked fine, but after tasting it, I feel like the sauce is watered down somewhat. I'm just a bit more particular about my food that he is :). On a positive note, the wine list is good and the dessert was flavorful. We split the lemon cake and enjoyed that. read more

I had the chicken Marcella and it was the best I had ever had. The waitress was very personable and knowledgeable about the menu. My wife had the shrimp fettuccine alfredo. She greatly enjoyed the homemade flavor and consistency of the sauce. We would highly recommend The Spaghetti Facotory. It's a little pricey but felt it was well worth it. Came here 4 years ago and it was not good. Decided to try again and my husband ordered the Steak special for $30 and tasted like it was boiled. The blood was all over his mashed potatoes. When I said something to the host she said they don't season there meat and do a quick broil so it enhances its own self. She said IF you come back we'll Season it to your liking. My crab stuffed shrimp was like it had been puréed and lots of celery for the filling. We were given the bill and never asked if we wanted coffee or desert. Never again! read more

Ode to a chicken parm, 28 years in the making. What can I get 4 u m'dear, " u kno, same as last year!" As I stammar "..chicken parm!", my fam looks up w alarm "Should I get that too!?" Food was very good but will not be back ever. Customer of over 40 years the food was always great. Just went in recently waited a very long time to order them 40 minutes to get the appetizer. We never got the salads we ordered and Entrees were over an hour after appetizers. We were there over 2 hours. If someone had explained the kitchen is backed up, we are short staffed etc it might have been ok but we got crickets. Never will go back. read more

If I could put no stars I would ! This place was absolutely not worth $150. There were 5 adults, 2.5yr old & 1yr old. We sat down, waited about 20min for someone to take our drinks n order food since we had enough time to figure it out. We then waited 1.5hrs for just our SALADS! I had to ask another waitress walking by for refills on our drinks cuz ours was no where to be found. Then when i finally found her and asked how long it'll be before our food comes since at this point we had been sitting there 2.5hrs with no dinner. She said they had a big party in the back & we could take our food to go. Which is absolutely NOT what a waitress should suggest to take our food home to eat. I finally said yes just take it to go, she went to the back & 3min later brought out our food in bags wrapped up. How the heck did that take 3min but yet we couldn't get our food for 3hrs!!!! Got home, to finally eat. Chicken parm was so tough had to use a fork & a knife, it was so rubbery. Again, we had 2 children with us as well that had to sit there for 3hrs. I came here on Sat. June 1, 2013 for dinner with my family. They don't give you soup or a salad with your meal. Everything is à la carte here. I ordered the Veal Marsala which looked good and came on bed of pasta. The Veal was dry and the pasta was soaking in butter and oil. The food looked better than it tasted. The waitress was very slow. She never asked if I wanted a refill on my drink and she kept walking by and seeing my empty glass. She also never brought me any bread. I will not be going back here again. Updating my review for 2012 - we had a great meal at Spaghetti Factory tonight. I had the white veal scallopini, hubby had the special called Chicken Giardino. The white veal scallopini was really tasty - nice bed of linguini, mushrooms, peppers, and of course, veal and garlic - lots of garlic! Plenty for dinner plus a box to take home. Not taking my own advice from last time, I had the complete dinner not the ala carte. It's tough to resist the complete meal as a salad alone is $3.99 and the complete meal with minestrone is only 50 cents more. The chicken special was smaller but good - nice tender chicken smothered with fresh tomatoes, garlic, onions and fresh basil. We don't come here very often yet the owner always greets us like we are family and even chased us down on our way out to touch our shoulders and wish us a good evening. read more
