Worst incompetent doctor ever. No wonder why CityMD said he accepts all patients all insurance including same day walk ins. So many imagings, so many unnecessary tests for no reasons which they said only can be done in his office only. Thank God my sister's friend is a doctor. Got a second opinion from another place where they told me those are unnecessary.. it's all about money and It's very sad how those people make already ill patients go through such unnecessary procedures just for money!!! read more

The worst incompetent dr . Mg husband went for back injections this guy had him coming weekly . The last time he went the dr finally had a blood pressure monitor in house ( which he never did before ! This was 2017, my husband was a patient since 2015. , well the 2017 incident dr took his blood pressure which was 220 over90! Which no doubt all these shots caused it and never monitored him! Needless to say we walked out went to hospital and never why back . And by the way him and his wife made a comment that they have to have him come in every week because they had children in college tk pay for ! For a joke this is sickening ! Dr. Guo has been my neurologist since December 2017 when I visited his office in excruciating pain. His thorough examination and tests lead him to a Dx and treatment plan that relieved the cycle of pain over a period of six or seven weeks. The pain has not returned. Dr. Guo is an MD and a PhD in his field of neurology. I trust him with my health implicitly. The office is immaculate as is the rest room. The receptionists are efficient and get me in and out quickly. I am sorry that I didn't find Dr. Guo before I had my knees replaced. It would have been a gift to attempt Regenerative Therapy prior to choosing such a drastic surgery. I strongly recommend Dr. Michael Z. Guo for pain management and neurological needs. read more

Very condescending and arrogant , poor bedside manner. Made fun of the disease I have (CRPS) , saying it is like fibromyalgia and a "crazy diagnosis." I was agitated and talked a lot, and he told me to "shut up." I asked him to repeat what he said to me and he replied, "just kidding." read more

This place is the absolute WORST. So many problems I don't know where to start. I went to STAT health for a severe headache and they referred me here. The office staff is combative and nasty. My appointment is NEVER kept and any time I mention I've been waiting for over 30 minutes- up to an hour after my appointment time- the office workers become rude and even raise their voices in response to my concern that my life is passing me by while I rot away in this god forsaken waiting room. Dr.Guo is a total misogynistic, backward, jerk. When he tried to prescribe me painkillers, I told him I was breastfeeding. He asked how old my baby was and started to berate me for breastfeeding a baby over 6 months old. He said, "after 6 months there is no benefit for the baby" and that my son "wouldn't be a tough person" because I was "making him soft" by breastfeeding. THESE ARE ACTUAL QUOTES!! He then told me that I need to tell my husband that I won't nurse anymore- as if my husband if forcing me or something. Really crazy stuff. My last complaint is that this guy is a neurologist who does acupuncture and gives Botox. Now I realize Botox is a treatment for migraines; HOWEVER it is advertised as a cosmetic treatment. What is going on here?!? I will NEVER return to this facility. I was disrespected in so many ways I can't even believe it myself. read more

Dr Guo has been my pain management doctor since June of 2014. I wrote a review in 2016 and I'm writing another one. Dr. Guo gives me acupuncture shots to control my pain thus healing my body. I'm very thankful for the front desk as the ladies are very patient and understanding when I make an appointment and arrive late or cancel from time to time. Dr. Guo has told me and provided various treatments to relieve my issues. Mine is a slow road but a sure road to good health and being normal again. Continue to recommend Dr. Guo to others. It's been just over a year that I found Dr Guo to give me answers on pain that I was suffering that no one could explain or help with - turned out to be something called occipital neuralgia. I literally couldn't stand or sit for more than five minutes at a time. Scary is an understatement. I am fit and athletic for my age - this scared me to no end. Thought I was going to have to live with this for rest of my life. Bottom line after several months of treatment under Dr Guo I am (knock on wood) completely healed. Give him a chance and be patient. The therapy can be discomforting at first but he knows what he is doing. My wife had to remind me what I went thru as this is close to the time last year that I first went thru this craziness. When an elderly parent begins to fall your heart drops. " Why?" You prop them up and rush them around to doctors. The inevitable creeps into your mind, "Is this the end?" You question every moment with a doctor. "Are we doing this right? Can you help us?" We needed help. Desperately. Dr. Guo was wonderful. After I spilled the myriad of symptoms onto paperwork we were seen. Effortlessly. My handwriting was a mess. I had mushed words onto wet paper while sitting over at Zwanger. (When it is winter everything is covered in salt and snow.) The kind front office staff had willingly faxed over the paperwork to Zwanger when an MRI ran late. (There is a Zwanger office in the same medical campus.) Dr. Guo observed and listened with patience. He balanced discussing a sensitive topic with my father kindly. We left with a clear plan of action. "These are the tests we need. Once we have them we can diagnose and move forward." Hearing that had a profound effect on our family. Words cannot explain how thorough the rest of his team is. They somehow manage to balance one gazillion insurance plans like super heros. They are organized. These are women you want to invite over for dinner. Our family has now seen Dr. Guo many times. I feel confident my father is receiving the best care available to him. (My father quite enjoys the free Keurig coffee in the cozy waiting room.) Dr. Guo has a sense of humor. A dry one I quite enjoy. Medicine is not just medication and tests. It is listening. I made a appointment for an epidural shot to my lower back. The receptionist told me they would do it on the first visit because I had a referral, MRI report, xrays, and a CD with the actual MRI on it. I told Dr Guo I am already scheduled for surgery and need pain relief until my date. Dr Guo did not give me any treatment the 1st visit. He sent me for an Xray of my hip. The second visit he didn't go over the Xray. He did a nerve test and told me to make another appointment to go over the results and discuss treatment. This guy just wants to milk your insurance. Dr. Guo is an excellent doctor. He has seen me many times, treating my peripheral neuropathy as well as lower back pain. This is a difficult case to diagnose, yet he has tried several different avenues. I have found the office staff to be very professional and efficient, and the office is clean and well-maintained. read more

As a healthcare provider myself, there are a lot of red flags at this office. Be prepared for this office to collect payment from you prior to submitting to your insurance. After I declined until claim went to my insurance the office staff offered no objections in losing me as a patient if proper procedure was not followed. read more

Dr. Guo is not only extremely knowledgeable, but he thinks outside the box to solve problems for people in pain, as well as those with neurological, and musculoskeletal problems. He has a unique knowledge base that makes him able to help people that have more complex problems. In short, he is brilliant. Dr. Guo has been treating me for a possible TIA, which I had initially seen other Neurologists. They offered no help. Dr. Guo did!! I've been having acupuncture for symptoms of neuropathy and headaches. I find the treatments to be working. They are well administered by Dr. Guo and he is a very caring physician. Lets start with the office staff. They are extremely rude. Not helpful at all. They do not belong in the customer service business at all. The doctor did not seem to care where my pain in back was. Sent me for a routine MRI and called me in for the results which he never gave . He wasted my time going there with no help and no results to give. Just wanted me to set up a EMG test. He is a cookie cutter. While I waited in waiting room,, everyone has a MRI and EMG test. He did not help me at all. Went elsewhere, they read the MRI and was able to help. read more

Very quick to take my $200 copay - rushed me right in - very negative. Poor bedside manner. Very upsetting and the office staff wouldn't give test results over the phone - had to make another appointment (and copay) to get them but everything was fine. Dr. Guo has been treating me for chronic neck, shoulder and back pain subsequent to a terrible motor vehicle accident (Accident in 12/2015). He has been a gift of God to me and an angel from above. Dr. Guo treats me for severe pain with Acupuncture and Tens treatment bi weekly and Prolo Therapy injections (which is painful but is rejuvenitive medicine instrumental in healing a person) monthly. I have been seeing Dr. Guo for over a year when needed for extreme pain from my injuries. In ny opinion he a brilliant man who is a dedicated, caring person, an excellent doctor, specializing in neurology and pain management, Dr. Guo is healing me slowly when others could not. After trying a few different methods of relieving my pain & after Dr Guo, the staff being very helpful & patient, I have been pain free! After seeking out help for chronic migraines and severe nueropathy from head to toe for 19+ years , I thought finally I would have help for migranes. He did eeg on my limbs in 4 minutes ( unheard of !!) after exhausting all medications for migranes been told by other nuerologist that I'm great patient for Botox for migranes (mind you I'm am esthetician if I want Botox can get done at cost) so after all his bogus tests he said my migranes are from old whip lash( mind you my siblings suffer as well, they don't have same injuries as I do in spine ) and I have no nueropathy it magically went away ... Basically he said all 6 nuerologist mis diagnosised me !! I've had nerve damage from car accident 20yrs ago and it's way worse at this point .Smh !!
