She was honest about the meds, what is available to me as a seronegative pt and the difficulty of the road ahead but remained fully committed to helping me. She had no issues admitting if there was something she did not know. I liked her and felt at ease. No more doctors telling me it was hormonal, all in my head or making me prove i had it. I have had doctors negate tests that proved i had MG after they were "so positive i did not" simply because they wanted to be right and had not kept up on the disease , they were still treating it with old methods. The one review I had read on Yelp about this group was not very good . It was only about the receptionist so I really didn't know what to expect , I basically disregarded it . We found the receptionist to be very polite and friendly . She checked us in quickly and we only had a few papers to fill out . The waiting area was clean and update with plenty of seating. I can only say our experience with Dr. Tsekhan was excellent, he was very professional , knowledgeable, mild mannered and made my husband feel very comfortable! He listened to us patiently and took the time to explain everything to us clearly. I'm sure the other physicians in this group are excellent but If you are looking for a Neurologist who is down to earth than you should surely consider Dr.Tsekhsn .

I recently had to call and move an appointment (after they moved a different one of mine) and they had only 2 other times available for over a month (unfortunately both of which I am at work in another state). The front desk person was argumentative and rude when I told her I was frustrated with the lack of flexibility (and just wanted it noted so doctors were aware)--especially since they had pushed my other appointment out which left me with a longer gap. She instead continued to argue with me that they weren't inflexible and had availability, it just didn't work for me. (Again 2 options in over a month isn't super flexible but that's fine, I know they are busy it was just my opinion ). When I told her I didn't want to argue I just wanted to confirm next steps and share that I was frustrated for it to be noted, she hung up.

The ease of making appointments, speaking with the PA, NO or Dr. George himself was remarkable and when we discussed all my options an I was NOT forced into surgery however it was the best option for me, Dr. George discussed the procedure in detail with me and in terms that I could easily understand and put my mind at ease that my back was in the best hands during my surgery. Worst incompetent doctor ever. No wonder why CityMD said he accepts all patients all insurance…read moreincluding same day walk ins. So many imagings, so many unnecessary tests for no reasons which they said only can be done in his office only. Thank God my sister's friend is a doctor. Got a second opinion from another place where they told me those are unnecessary.. it's all about money and It's very sad how those people make already ill patients go through such unnecessary procedures just for money!!!
