Michaelangelo's is the simply the best place I have ever been for a haircut, plain and simple. It is no coincidence to me that they share a name with one of the most famous figures of the Italian Renaissance, Michelangelo; these guys are true artists. I have been to several other barbershops, salons, and even the occasional Supercuts throughout the Northeast and no one even comes close. In terms of technique, attention to detail, consideration for the customer, and overall experience, they are superb. I have been coming to Victor for about two years now. I travel a lot for work, and find myself holding off on a haircut until I'm able to schedule an appointment with him when I'm back in town. I would rather look slightly shaggy a little while longer than to let anyone else touch my hair. Victor is somehow able to keep up genuine, friendly conversation while being incredibly focused on the quality of your cut, no matter what else is going on. He's a great guy who makes you feel right at home. The vibe of the place itself is hip and relaxed, the music is on point, and you leave feeling cooler than when you came in. I recommend scheduling your first appointment earlier in the week, if you can; get to know the guys and feel out your style. I've been coming in here for many years now with my son, and my barber Felix has been taking care of us for over 6 years, giving me the confidence to feel good about my style when running my business appts every day. His and the other barbers professionalism and knowledge on this industry is unique more than rare to find. Felix and the barbers make you feel as part of their family when in the barber shop and always taking an extra mile when serving clients. I can't speak enough about Felix and all of the barbers, but I can tell you this, get an appointment or drive and walk in the barber and experience your self what one of these artist can do, you will walk out and feel 10 years younger after an hair cut. Just went in for a Beard cut , nothing else. Its been years since I had a trim on my Grizzly Adams Beard. Although I was in a bit of a shell shock since its been a long time since I seen my upper lip, they did a good job. I can't remember the guys name who trimmed it... But he takes pride in his work for sure. The mistake I made is that I wasnt clear on the kinda mustache trim I wanted. (It looks good though(wife likes it too) )Would have rathered a scissor mustache trim, make sure if you want one to note it clearly. Overall I think if you consider yourself a "beardsmen" and you're getting sick of trimming your beard yourself. Try this place out. read more

I'm a first-time customer who'd scheduled an appointment for 2 pm. When I walked in at 1:50 pm, I wasn't greeted or acknowledged by the staff, and there was nobody at the front desk to help me. I waited about fifty minutes before walking out. The haircuts other customers received while I'd waited looked nice, and I'd hoped to have a positive experience, especially since the shop is so conveniently located, but this business seems way too ad hoc for me. read more

Hands down, Victor is the best barber my husband has ever seen. Victor takes his time, is percise, nice, and helped the husband find a low maintenance style that looks great on him. $35 + tip for a haircut, brows, and beard trim. I really wanted to like this place, Setup inside and convenience of parking outside is definitely a win. But when it comes down to the actual cut, Felix failed miserably. I had a very specific style in mind and walked out of that shop wanting to shave my head. Fought with it in the mirror for hours afterwards. I showed him the exact style of what I wanted from different angles in detail (in pictures). His fade game was on point and the attention to detail was excellent. I just didn't get what I asked for in terms of the actual cut on top. Practically walked out with a mohawk, since he went so high with my fade. Very disappointed and unfortunately will not go back. I really wanted this to be my next permanent barbershop for all my cuts but I'm still growing my hair back from this past visit in hopes to get it corrected somewhere else. read more

This is great barbershop. I have been getting my haircut there for years. The barbers are fun, talkative and professional. They are great at making the haircut an experience. Tons of conversation on life, sports and music. There is a huge parking lot in the back and easily accessible metered parking in the front. I have been a lifelong patron of barbershops and make it a priority that when I move to an area to find one where I can become a regular. Michelangelo's is a gentleman's barbershop if the proprietor is using an 18th century definition of gentleman, a person without a schedule. I made an appointment and showed up early. I was acknowledged, which made me happy. The barber arrived ten minutes later and took another customer who had an appointment fifteen minutes before mine. Forty-five minutes later, I was still waiting and had not been apologized to. In addition to squandering my time, the shop was in disarray, the chairs were stained and ripped, light fixtures were broken, and in general it felt more down market than a SuperCuts. The music was also not to my taste and played at nightclub volumes. read more

I have been here a few times now for a cut an shave. They do a great job on the cut and pay attention to detail but I don't feel the cut is worth 25 dollars. Maybe for other people that get style done I just have my head buzzed. Also the straight shave atleast by (the person I had forget his name but super friendly) but he mostly used a whall face trimmer not a traditional cut throat razor but did shave some spots. Just a very weird shave and I left with stubble! Shave was I think 8$ so for the price I think that's OK. The worst part of my experience a few times is the barbers are fighting trust me been to alot of shops an there's fights but not for 20 minutes its normally like 5 an done! Very uncomfortable people fighting with razors on people's faces. read more

First time coming here. My daughter needed a weave for her prom. We were told to come here and see Sharr. And we were more than satisfied!! This woman is amazing!!!!
