I did browse for a few days before I finally purchased a lovely recliner! The showroom is a moderate size with quite a bit to choose from, you can do special orders if needed. The sales clerk wasn't pushy, she gave me all the deets and specials. I decided on a really nice comfy recliner, picked up the same day, so far Im happy with my purchase. They have been in business for a while, the staff all well trained and helpful. Yes I will buy from them again in the near future.

World Market has a variety of items ranging from furniture, lights, food, drinks, alcohol, sweet treats, and little nick nacts. One feature I like about World Market is the fact that on the food and drinks selection they have the name of the country where the items came from. For example, the countries  that I saw were Germany, Italy, Australia, Japan, Vietnam, Jamaica, England, Spain America, Greece, and South America.  When strolling around the store, I noticed that they do have a selection of items that you can not find in a regular store and the prices are reasonable in my opinion. For example in the German area of World Market, they have a wide spread of Haribo Gummies that I have never seen in the supermarket, like Pico- Balla and Balla Stixx.  In addition, World Market has a huge parking lot shared with Best Buy, but there is plenty of parking spots. Furthermore, the staff was very polient to my family and I, and the facility was very clean and organized. Also their is a restroom located in the back of the store for the public to use.  If you are in the area or want to check out World Market. You should definitely do so, because you will be in a pleasant surprise. Maybe you will fall in love with a treat from another country? Bought a dining room table here on July 30th 2019. Upon delivery we were told they were missing one…read moreof our chairs. It took several weeks to get the chair. After the chair was delivered we had problems with the chair wobbling, and we also discovered that one of the leafs to the table was defective and would not lock into place under the table like it was supposed to. They sent someone out to fix the chair and we showed him the leaf. He told us he wrote "defective, customer not satisfied." On our paperwork. He the told us someone from the store would contact us. A week or two later the store called and told us to come in to pick a different table. When we got their our sales person told us that the table was now being made by a new manufacturer and was better designed. After looking a the new version and discussing it my wife and I decided to exchange the table kind for kind. When we were doing the paper work for the exchange we were told that the price of the table had gone up since we bought it on sale and we would have to pay a difference of 100 some dollars. Ours sales person even seemed to feel uncomfortable about us having to pay but her managers told her that's what we would have to do if we wanted to exchange the table. I didn't really see how it was our problem that we received a defective table. I didn't feel it was a fair business practice to make a customer that received a defective product pay more to exchange it. We talked about it and asked if we could just return the table and get a refund. Our salesperson called the manager who told her that we could not because they have a 10 day return policy and after that 10 days you own it. Our salesperson then, trying to be helpful, told us to come back on Tuesday because the table would be on sale again. We left, and I was pretty irritated. I pulled up badcock a return policy on my phone and found that their return policy very specifically says if an item is defective you can return it for a full refund up to 364 days after purchasing it. We called customer service and explained what was going on. The customer service representative told my wife that a leaf not locking into place did not qualify as a defect. My wife then asked, "if a leaf not locking into place isn't a defect even after an employee at your business called it just that, then what is considered a defect?" The lady said she couldn't tell us. I have now filed a Better Business Bureau complaint. We will never again do any business with this company and I have advised all my friends and family to avoid them as well. Don't left this company make you one of their next victims. I'll amend this review to say that Stacy was our sales rep at this store and was and has been great to seal with. I have no problem with her. It is management and corporate that is the problem. I hope Stacy can eventually sale furniture at a store that has better business practices.

Really intuitively designed furniture with all the bells and whistles, extra storage space, etc. They had velvet dining room chairs that were just lust-able they were so beautiful. We ordered a table for $1800 dollars in March and we haven't talked to anyone on the phone…read moreeverytime we call it refers us to an app. We got a email saying it'd be ready in about 2 weeks to a month and the email was probably sent to us over 2 months ago. So I drove to Columbia to the address listed and it looked like an empty warehouse. I talked to the people that had a business near by and they said they haven't seen anyone there in weeks. So now we are probably going to dispute it with our bank. It's sad because we really were looking forward to getting this table and they don't communicate at all. So think twice about doing business with them. We are gonna report them to the sc department of consumer affairs if they don't get in touch with us asap.
