I brought a watercolor painting to the framing shop for two custom mats and frame. They did a spectacular job. Billie helped me pick out the frame and mats and I am not sure who actually did the job because i can't read the label on the back of the painting but it turned out absolutely beautiful!!!! read more

The garland I purchased was as expected. Checkout on line and the sale prices went smoothly. The two stars are for terrible customer service. I specifically ordered curbside because I was in a hurry. When I departed to Michael's I used the app to let them know I was on my way. Upon arriving I used the app AND email to check in and add my space number. Trying to be patient with holiday crowd I waited 20 minutes and NO ONE EVER BROUGHT OUT MY ORDER. I finally went inside and with no apology or any confirmation of my purchase I was handed the bag with my items. If you can not work the curbside orders then that should not be an option. read more

Literally everyone that works here is lovely. I've shopped here for years and years. This review is like a review of 5+ years. Long overdue. I've seen the same management for years, and they are ALL wonderful. I've been asked if I needed or wanted help, but I've also been left alone if I decline. Simple. When I do want help, I'm not just pointed to an isle, I'm walked to an isle. I had an employee come from around the framing desk and walk me halfway across the store once for some vellum paper. The only thing I've seen i dislike in this store are the customers. I like this place so much, it makes me upset when I see people get irate with the employees, or leave stuff around like a mess. As I get older, the more into crafts I get. It is so weird! Anyway, Michaels as super great stuff for learning in which way you are creative. Candle Making, Soap Molding, Framing, Wood Burning, Baking, Jewelry Making, General Organization and Decor, and then some. I feel like Michael's is there through all of my phases. If you signup for emails you will get 30%-50% coupons ALL OF THE TIME! I almost feel like I am stealing from them sometimes because I get such great deals. read more

This store is well merchandised and attractive. I Appreciate the rewards program as well as frequent sales and coupons sent to you once you sign up. Weekdays are best time to visit for quicker checkout service since on weekends the line tends to be REALLY long and slow. Also wish there was a register open just for returns or general customer service help & questions. Cashiers at front end are often very friendly and helpful. My only complaint is that there are not enough staff on the floor to help you find items or answer questions. Craft on!! read more

Tons of selection here and lots of supplies for any crafty itch you may get. From hokey yarn projects to legit wood burning kits this is the place! I had a good time browsing the shelves with my 5yr old artist. He had a blast at his first ever Michaels store and can't wait to come back. read more

Yeah...the prices...hmmm...ugh and ouch simultaneously. Really think this stuff is way overpriced. $15 for a bucket of beads for my kids. Got almost the same product (was same size at least) at Walmart for $7.99. I've heard they run tons of sales and do lots of coupons, but I'm not a coupon clipper. The store itself is well lit. That's probably about the nicest thing I can say. Their wide selection is probably what keeps them in business. read more

While I am pretty impressed with the whole store, this review is specifically for Natalia in the framing dept. I had several framing projects where I was saving up to be able to afford then I noticed an irresistible sale for custom framing projects. One of the 3 frames was a complicated 6 piece spread which took Natalia and I about 3 hours to finally get to the point where we were both satisfied on layout. Natalia never faltered once in the face of my changes, was patient the entire time and made the process interesting. I can't recommend her and the entire framing department enough. The service is outstanding, the turnaround time very efficient, and with the sale, the pricing was right. If you need anything framed, this is the place to go. read more

I have visited many Michaels' over the years and I repeatedly get frustrated by this store. I just set down almost $200 worth of purchases and walked out because I was the 14th person in line and there was only a single register open handling sales and returns. Seriously? I don't have time for this nonsense. Guess I'll get my stuff from Amazon instead. read more
