Sometimes they are very busy so going at the right hour is great (although that time can shift). There is a room upstairs in the back with some pre-made "accidents" that can be acquired for a discount. They provide UltraVue® UV70 AR Glass which is my favorite. I acquire supplies and frame myself so this all works pretty well for me too. They also give artists a discount. Parking out front is convenient going in, but getting back out is a bit tricky .. I suggest parking in the lot behind the building.

The second time I took some paintings in, they were more expensive and not so good on any price reductions. The 3rd time, I had 4 more framed, and it had gotten very expensive. Each time, I used their "discount" Artist's Corner, so expected better prices. They do a beautiful job, but as an artist, I need to find another framer. Between commission to galleries and expensive framing costs, I am making less on my own paintings than they are. If you are willing to pay the price and can afford it, they do a beautiful and professional job.

With their doors wide open on a beautiful day, they warmly welcomed us in to watch their process and check out their small shop. They offer a great variety of glassware, vases, wall decor, pendant lights and so much more. The owner was very friendly letting us know they could make custom orders if there were specific things we were interested in, or just create custom versions of their products. Having experience working with glass, I can definitely say the prices we reasonable considering the labor it takes. Don't know what happened here…read more When I came back post-COVID the friendly, knowledgeable craftspersons who had always helped me weren't back. I came to purchase a Festool product. I called in advance. Ensured the product was in stock and let them know I had questions and was on my way. The Festool guy asked two other peeps to answer my questions, including a phone handler who said she didn't know anything about the product. After the second staff told the Festool guy I had questions, he grudgingly came over. Pretty sure I was being marginalized cuz I am a chick. Really don't enjoy being treated poorly when I come to spend $500. We won't be back. I can be dissed for free.

It stated it was dishwasher safe. I do not regularly put pottery in the dishwasher, but do every now and than. The first time I put the mug in the dishwasher the handle broke off. I was so disappointed. On a recent trip to Asheville, I saw that Kelsey has a shop and was excited to see her pottery, but also inform her of my experience. The store has a good selection of her pottery. I told the worker about by experience and he said he would speak/text Kelsey. Well he did and I was offered nothing, but a returning customer 5% discount. I ended up buy the mug, but regretting it. I realize they had no way of knowing if I was being honest, but considering I told them where I purchased it and my experience the least they could have offered was a double digit percentage discount. Beautiful work, but poor customer appreciation.
