Purchased products online. Store out of all but one item. Charged me for all items ordered. Won't refund rest.

I came across Knitters Therapy last week. I had never visited the store or had even heard of them…read more- but now, I tell everyone about this locally owned gem! I was looking for a store that carried gems and maybe some jewelry. I was surprised because this store came up under "arts & crafts" which I do neither. In any case, I stopped in and instantly knew I was going to spend way too much time there. Upon entering I immediately noticed there was so much more than yarn and art supplies. I beelined straight for all of the jewelry. I was greeted by the owner, Shawna and her vicious guard dog, Tiny, the chihuahua. I spent over an hour asking so many questions about stones and their meanings, it was fascinating. Shawna did not seem to mind at all! I noticed they also have a lot of literature on Reiki, something I have heard about but never really looked into, so maybe that will be next. Shawna told me they offer knitting workshops too, it's definitely a knitters/artist like community. OK, back to the jewelry. They have charms, earrings, bracelets, necklaces and pendants both big and small. There is something for everyone. They have masculine pieces, feminine pieces and unisex pieces. The prices are extremely reasonable, especially the handmade pieces. They have pieces to fit anyone's budget. The handmade pendants are a work of art. They have very simple ones and very intricate ones. I purchased three items. The first is a small and simple blue, white, and black Jasper pendant, which I wear with a simple silver chain. The other two pieces I will treasure for a very long time. For myself I purchased a handmade pendant made of copper with moonstone and black tourmaline. I wore it out that night and received so many compliments on it, and people asked me so many questions about it! I purchased the other pendant for my friend who does not wear any jewelry but was blown away by the artistry and has always loved labradorite. He has not taken it off since I gave it to him! His pendant is also hand made with copper. What's interesting...these were the first two pieces I gravitated to - but still had to look at every piece in the store at least three times, but always came back to those pieces. Shawna told me about the different stone properties - and it just made too much sense why I gravitated to these pieces! Even if jewelry isn't your thing, or you aren't familiar with certain stones, knitting, or Reiki, I still recommend visiting this store. There is so much to look at, learn about, and admire. It is very accessible with plenty of free parking. I will definitely be back, perhaps after my next paycheck because I already made a list of what I want to purchase next! Thank you Knitters Therapy!! These pictures are of the handmade copper with labradorite pendant. I will be purchasing a matching chain soon, but for now, my friend doesn't seem to mind!

I first started shopping here around 2010, then stepped away from knitting for quite a few years before recently returning. What stood out immediately was how welcoming the environment still felt. Being warmly welcomed back after such a long break genuinely meant something. Over the years, I have consistently noticed how knowledgeable and helpful the staff is. They are willing to answer questions, help troubleshoot patterns or projects, recommend yarn substitutions, and guide people toward classes or tools that fit their skill level. I have also witnessed many moments where customers came in trying to rescue a knitting "disaster," and the owner, staff, and even fellow customers jumped in to help. There is a real sense of community here that feels increasingly rare. The shop itself is comfortable and inviting, with a strong selection of yarns, books, tools, and classes ranging from beginner to advanced. It feels like a place designed not just to sell products, but to support people who enjoy fiber arts. The location is another plus. Street parking is usually manageable, there are coffee shops and restaurants nearby around 12th and Madison, and it is right along the RTD #10 bus route. Whether someone knits, crochets, needlepoints, or is completely new to fiber arts, The Lamb Shoppe seems to make a sincere effort to make everyone feel welcome.

It's a store with a terrific selection of yarns at all different price points, it's a haven for knitters/crocheters of all skills. No matter what I'm working on, I can find help with a quick question from staff that are knowledgable AND friendly. If it's more involved, I can schedule a private tutorial. Or, they have fun classes as well. I've lost track of how many classes I've taken here -- all of them have stretched my knitting capabilities. On top of that, it's a beautifully laid-out store that sparks creativity. Yes, I might find some of the yarns for a couple dollars less online, but to see and hold those yarns and to sit at one of the tables to be in community with other knitters/crocheters and see what others are knitting cannot be replicated online. And... if you just want some great choices of yarn, you don't need help, or classes or want to knit in community -- you got that too!

We went out on this sunny and warm October day, glad to enjoy some time outdoors in the sun. We were greeted, as well, with an enjoyable stroll through local venue booths sporting everything from beeswax products to locally mixed spices to jewelry made from local stones (think petrified wood and Marble's marble, among many others). I was drawn to the designs at a T-shirt shop, and when I couldn't find my size in the design I wanted, they assured me that I could email them and they would make it for me and send it along to my home. The jewelry maker at Waystone (mywaystone.com) promised that if I could bring her a piece of petrified wood that I had discovered in my backyard, she would make it into something special to display in my home. While she accepts items through mail, since she is just down I-70 just east of Denver, I mean to bring it right to her. I was excited to visit this arts fair, and came away with some nice items, along with the cards of some artisans to whom I will reach out for some custom items. What a great way to spend a glorious fall day outside!
