I was painting a tree for a Trunk or Treat event at my church, and Lakeshore had the size of paint I needed and was just the right cost. I was able to find what I needed, even though I haven't been here in a long time. What made this shopping experience so great, was the nice man that assisted me with my purchase. He was so helpful and kind. I mean he made me smile. That I was overjoyed that he helped me again when I returned the 2nd bottle of paint that I didn't use. He surely must of heard of the saying, Be the reason someone smile! I hope Lakeshore will keep this sweet guy around and wish other places had people like him. They displayed their disrespect again when me and my friend were trying to use the family bathroom because we have a bad experience with the large bathroom and believe it is unsafe. Three different people came up to us and asked us in a rude tone what we were doing and we kindly said that we were waiting for the bathroom because another employee was taking 20 minutes in the public bathroom. me and my friend were also of color and all of the employees were white and we believe this has something to do with them. they also yelled at us for walking into the changing room, when usually there is no one outside monitoring. I…read morefound a beautiful cherry dresser online and for the price that they were offering it for I thought that there had to be something wrong with it. Therefore, I drove almost 2 hours (from the Washington D.C. area) to take a look at it. Low and behold it was just like it was advertised and shown in the pictures. The prices are VERY reasonable, especially for the quality that you will be receiving. It's very rare that you find honest people like this, who genuinely offer reasonable prices and who are not trying to scam you. I also paid for delivery, the husband/owner and his moving assistant delivered the dresser. It was very heavy (as it had a marble top) and I have wood floors throughout my place. They were VERY careful without me instructing them on not scratching any of the wood floors....which I can't always say is the case for other deliveries I've had at my place (and paid for). They had all the equipment ready and again were very careful when delivering it....you could tell that this defiantly wasn't their 1st time. They even took my old dresser WITHOUT giving me any push back or charging extra. The only semi-complaint that I would say is that the delivery was slightly pricey. Which I completely understood due to about 4 hours to and from, paying the tolls, and hiring help. Again, these are the type of people that you would want to buy from...it's very rare to be able to say that about sales people! Both the husband and wife are very friendly and sincere people. Next time when I buy from them (which now I'm defiantly planning on doing) I'm going to trust the photos from their website and place my order. It's very reassuring to know that there are people like them still out there in this world!

The store specializes in great quality, antique furniture. I've bought at least a dozen pieces of furniture in this shop and the prices were very reasonable. One of the things I love about this store is that the furniture is in its antique splendor and hasn't been plastered with tacky chalk paint or stencils. If you are in the area, stop in and have a look. There is always a wide variety of items for sale in the shop and you never know what you will find. I've purchased chairs, tables, and even handmade antique table linens here and have been happy with every purchase. The furniture is very reasonably priced and Donna is great to work with on buying items in sets and on layaway.

The employees are very hot and cold. Some are true sweethearts and others seems like they are mad at the world. So customer service really depends on who you get. They do now offer military and EMS discount everyday except for when they are having a sale. (It's 30 percent off any item.) They also now have smart tablets so you can check in each time you are there to get a percent taken after I believe the 10th time. So they are coming up with assentive to get people coming in! The layout of the store is pretty decent for it being a goodwill as well. Some goodwills as we all know can be a bunch of cluster in each row but they seem to take more pride in keeping the shelves decent. All in all this is a great place to shop, so you can get name brands for half the price!!
