Overrated local spot and a bit pricy. Enjoyed my prime rib french dip, my salad and home cut and fried fries. High average! Should have a cheaper salad option to go with dinner. Place is dated and dirty. Parking lot very pitted sobe careful. Service was OK. Pepsi products and full bar nut must sit on proper side of building.

Wow!! Great restaurant with great service and incredible food!! My wife and I were traveling and spent the night in town and this restaurant looked great and boy is it, I had a chicken fried steak and it was huge with delicious gravy, homemade mashed potatoes and a killer salad. This thing is huge and I was lucky too have been able to eat half with the rest to go. It's so tender and full of flavor so it's easy to keep eating. My wife had steak fingers with homemade fries and it's a huge portion as well. Both entrees were served fresh, hot and so full of flavor. We will definitely eat here again.

    Cheers to the Hag!

Stopped in while passing through on vacation. A local recommended Michael's and the Police and Fire American flags out front sealed the deal. The service and food were outstanding. We split the porterhouse steak and for a small fee, they split it for us, and gave us our own sides, including soup and salad. Everything was delicious!!

    A tasty menu!

The atmosphere was good! The waitress was so friendly and helpful, the food tasted delicious. They even have a missing man table for those who did not return from battle (see heart emoji).

Not too shabby for small town eating. The kids enjoyed the kids' meal, but the tots were heavy-handed with seasoning. My wife and I shared Delmonico's ribeye. The salad was fresh and a great starter. The ribeye was flavorful but had a lot of fat and gristle on it. For $42, I was expecting it to be a little more tender and piping hot. The accompanying baked potato was saturated in topping and was pretty messy. The meal included a chimichanga, which was interesting, although the sauce somewhat spoiled the steak. ****BE AWARE*** The check never came, and we were asked to pay at the counter. We did not receive an itemized receipt for our meal. Instead, random numbers were inputted into a calculator, and a subtotal was inputted with a transaction fee, not including tip into a kiosk. Kinda shady

Ambiance... little home town feel. Restaurant and Bar. Service... we sat, got menus and drink's quickly. Food... I ordered prime rib. Hubby ordered also prime rib. Both came with salad. We shall see. It was not the best I have had but good.

Save Your Big Bucks at the Big City Steakhouse! Had the large Prime Rib and it had absolutely No Taste! I've had better at Outback Steakhouse. Better off going down the road a block to the Japanese steakhouse where they have very tasty food and more than you can eat for $22.00

These guys really get it, and try to flat out tell you how to order the steak. Awesome!

What's better than a great meal? How about an unexpectedly great meal! Driving through Rawlins, I ...um... wasn't exactly expecting to find outstanding food. I gotta start with the Caesar salad. This is one of the few places where the dressing isn't the extremely creamy nonsense that most places serve up, and I think I did taste anchovy. It was a great start. I ordered a sirloin and loaded potatoes, and had a good laugh at the solid truth on display on the menu. Medium rare is perfect, well done is ruined. A cow was sacrificed to become a steak, don't disrespect the cow by ordering well done. The steak came out with a wad of (I think) garlic butter and a shishito pepper on top of it. It was among the best steaks I've ever had. Juicy as could be.... I mean, there isn't much more to say about a steak. There was a little bean and cheese chimichanga with some green sauce on it, which was a tasty little surprise. Also unexpected was a yummy little roll. The loaded pile of potatoes proved to be more than I could eat, but it was awesome as well. If you happen to be passing through Rawlins, make it a point to have dinner here! You wont be disappointed! If you're a local, and you're reading this, why? I'm sure you've already been here.... like on a regular basis.

Service was great. My husband had the prime rib sandwich, so good. I had the surf and turf. prices were fair on how much food they give.

The restaurant had the feel of rustic but with the modern touch of high ceilings with the ductwork exposed. Our waitress was so nice, and the food we ordered was really good, all freshly made to order. My husband loved the beef medallions. The beer-battered onion rings and french fries were wonderful. We liked the place so much we opted to go there for breakfast the next morning. After a week of hotel breakfasts we were ready for real food. The eggs Benedict was perfect as were the hash browns. My husband's chicken fried steak was wonderful as well. Hat's off to the chef! If we lived here we would be coming back!

However, my drink (tea) took around ten minutes to be served. I think they had to brew more. My husband and I both ordered chicken fried steak and eggs. He had wheat toast and I had an English muffin. Our friend ordered pancakes. The chicken fried steak was tiny, and upon closer inspection, was clearly one chicken fried steak cut in half. The English muffin was served cold and not even cut in half on a warm plate. The pancakes looked like bricks. One of my husband's eggs was broken and cooked hard. The food tasted good, just not up to quality restaurant standards in my opinion.
