Best place in town to sit and have drinks. They often have great seafood specials on the weekend. The spicy margaritas are amazing!

We sat in there for 20 minutes. Waitresses that were working were very unfriendly. No drink orders or anything. Would not waste your time

I had the Carne Asada burrito which was filled and stuffed with grilled beef, as well as onions, cilantro, lettuce, tomatoes, and guacamole. Contractors, couples on a date, families - a bunch of different demos were represented the evening we showed up. I got the green chili chicken enchiladas, with rice and beans. My companion got a fried and dyed tilapia entree. My enchiladas were fire, and I'm just talking about the flavor profile. It's nice that a place like this did not pull punches with the heat quality of their sauces and salsas. Come to think of it, the complimentary house chips and salsa at the top of our meal also featured a hot salsa. We Angelenos loved the default style but it constantly had the alarms going off. Really, it was a good way to break in our palates because the green sauce managed to be even hotter. There were enough varied notes between the two iterations of heat to keep the meal interesting. My wife thought the tilapia was evenly fried. She didn't have as much fun with the rice and beans, the otherwise plain sides, but they helped get the whole tilapia down. This place fed us. It wasn't too hard to settle on a place that, from the Yelp outset, purported to humbly serve authentic Mexican fare. If you're passing through Rawlins like we were, and you're happy to have a meal, don't let this place pass you by.

She attempted to seat the two of us at a six-person table directly next to three women who were clearly intoxicated, had obviously been there for quite some time, and were extremely loud. We ended up moving ourselves to the far end of the table just to get away from the conversation. Unfortunately, the service only got worse. It took over 10 minutes before a server came to our table, and then another five minutes to receive water after we specifically asked for it. Throughout the meal we felt completely ignored. After we finished eating, we sat with our dirty plates for another 10 minutes before anyone came by. The food itself was average--nothing memorable--but the poor service overshadowed the entire experience. There are too many restaurants that value their customers for us to return. Sadly, we won't be back.

I walked in and went straight to the bar, the bartender was very quick to bring me a menu and asked what I would like to drink, I was impressed because the one I had last time was to busy on their phone. I ordered carne asada with bacon wrapped grilled shrimp, I specifically asked for the steak to be medium and the pico on the side. When it came out it looked amazing but trying it was a different story. The steak was very inconsistent medium in the middle and well done and crunchy on the sides. The shrimp was overcooked and the bacon was so overheated that it was stuck to the shrimp. The pico was hideous and not on the side liked I asked. My flour tortillas never came out like they were supposed to and I literally had to beg for some. I could go on and on about how it all was under a heat lamp too long and very bland, no need to. I will not be back ever again, such a shame!!!
