Bring your patience as there were only two ladies working this small store. Thank you Carolyn for pointing out the discontinued low priced fabrics that I would find in their next door warehouse and the discounted remnants in the basement. You'll find a plethora of hanging fabric samples organized by color and/or manufacturer. They seem competitively priced with online fabric stores, but here you get to see the fabric up close, and touch and feel. If it's in stock you eliminate shipping cost. Today, I was fortunate to find a fabric I had been contemplating ordering. They had it in stock at a competitive price. I purchased several yards, and I avoided shipping expense! Score!

The second I walked through the door I was greeted and asked if I needed help with anything from somebody that was very friendly. The stores are always well laid out...organization and neatness are a theme. They have all sorts of stuff for the home including seasonal things (currently spring type stuff) as well as year round staples . blankets - art - furniture - nick knacks - candles - just about anything you could possible need for the home, they have it. Prices are typically pretty good, and they have lot's of sales items. If you sign up and provide your email, pretty much immediately, you'll get a 20% of regular price coupon. They are good to their customers and provide quality products and support. I'm a big fan .... definitely check this place out!

I was disappointed in the service I received at the Vestavia Hills store today. I ordered an…read moreornament because I had coupons to use. I selected curbside pickup. I pulled into the "curbside pickup" space around 12:30 p.m. I waited for 5 or so minutes. I thought that was sufficient for someone to notice I was there. So, I honked my horn once thinking perhaps they'd hear it. I waited again. I honked the horn one time again when I saw someone dusting a shelf through the window. I waited again. No response. At this point, I probably should have gotten out and walked in. I tried honking one more time. Needless to say, no one came out at any point. By now 10-15 minutes had passed. I walked up to the counter and said nothing about waiting outside. I was asked what I was there for. I said I had an ornament to pick up. "Did someone call you and tell you it was ready?" "No. I received an email." "An email? We don't email people." I just looked at the employee; what was I supposed to say? "How did you order? Did you order online?' "Yes, I ordered online." Then, I received a short lecture about all the ways you can order and why she didn't know that and that I received an email. She then went to look for the ornament. She came back out with it after 2-3 minutes and handed it to me. I walked out. My point is this: If you're going to have curbside service, then you need to watch/listen for cars. And don't lecture the customer when you are the one at fault.
