So he had asked about buying an R/C car so I told him we would think about it as those things can get a little pricey. Anyway as a surprise I took him to this hobby store that I knew about and thought this would be a good starting point for choices. We were not disappointed. We were educated on the differences between certain types ,models and pros and cons of the huge selection of R/C cars. They have R/C everything. Cars, boats , planes , helicopters and alot of stuff " hobby" related. There is just so much I can't even list it all. I'm talking pool cues, darts, miniature figures, and models. And on and on!! And don't let me forget parts and knowledge. I do believe he even mentioned a track for R/C cars in the back. So if you have a hobby , not woodworking related or along that lines this is the place. Would definitely recommend.

Next, I took in a Traxxas battery that I had for one year, was told it was dead, and they offered to sell me a new one for $80. I contacted Traxxas and was told they have a one year replacement warranty. I was also told that I can swap out dead batteries for new batteries for %50 off. The HobbyTown employee withheld this information. Also, the employees seem very disinterested in helping and only offer advice that will help them achieve maximum profit, not long term customers. It pains me to have to say that shopping online is better than in person, but here we are.

That gave us plenty of time to locate and stop into a BAM - something which we love to do whenever we are on the road. We have been to several in Utah, Arizona, California, and Nevada before visiting this location. I had already checked out their social media accounts before we even left Arizona for the road. Terrific Instagram profile and activity. I had bookmarked this particular store because they really seemed like a family business. Several employees had December birthdays and the day we arrived they had some decorations up and were offering customers cake. I think they even said they had some ice cream available. Nice touch. Both employees we spoke with were super friendly and helpful. We took most of our time digging through their bulk bins which were full of loose Lego goodness. We looked around at their cases full of minifigs and my wife grabbed a few small animals and misc. Lego pieces. We also looked around the store at their prebuilt sets and boxed sets. Nicely laid out store and full of great Lego items. We took turns quickly using their bathroom to wash our hands from going through the bulk. We had a little discussion about birthdays. I believe the woman's birthday was one of those being celebrated and the man's birthday was July 4th. Fantastic visit. We will most definitely be back the next time we are in Denver. Highly recommend.

I did not buy anything the first two times in the shop, but the owner Ikaika was awesome! He never tried to sell me, he just gave me information and let me choose what I wanted. They have a 90 day layaway program, they offer electronics help and I took advantage of the waterproofing service. The work they do is second to none!!! Please support this great local shop. Without guys like Ikaika and shops like The Crawl Space we would not have a place to crawl or the awesome events that The Crawl Space puts together. -A very happy repeat customer.

I was impressed on how they answered all of my questions and were very honest with suggestions. This was the first in a long time where I was never pressured to buy anything. They have excellent customers skills and also have a sense of humor! I would highly recommend them for anyone who is getting into the RC world! If it shows how much they are worth it, I drive 35 miles to them, even though I have other shops! Trust me they are worth it!
