Anyway as a surprise I took him to this hobby store that I knew about and thought this would be a good starting point for choices. We were not disappointed. We were educated on the differences between certain types ,models and pros and cons of the huge selection of R/C cars. They have R/C everything. Cars, boats , planes , helicopters and alot of stuff " hobby" related. There is just so much I can't even list it all. I'm talking pool cues, darts, miniature figures, and models. And on and on!! And don't let me forget parts and knowledge. I do believe he even mentioned a track for R/C cars in the back. So if you have a hobby , not woodworking related or along that lines this is the place. Would definitely recommend.

Took in my brand new $80 axles for a Traxxas Rustler because a pin had fallen out on my second…read moredrive and they wanted to charge me $20. For one pin. Next, I took in a Traxxas battery that I had for one year, was told it was dead, and they offered to sell me a new one for $80. I contacted Traxxas and was told they have a one year replacement warranty. I was also told that I can swap out dead batteries for new batteries for %50 off. The HobbyTown employee withheld this information. Also, the employees seem very disinterested in helping and only offer advice that will help them achieve maximum profit, not long term customers. It pains me to have to say that shopping online is better than in person, but here we are.

Any time I need help finding a book, the customer service desk is more than happy to lend a hand. Their customer service really sets them apart. Just recently, I learned that they have a new loyalty rewards program that is free and you earn a $5 reward for every $100 spent. I've been a Barnes & Noble customer for years and was thrilled when the cashier offered to sign me up for the free rewards program. Are any of my other book lovers as excited as I am about this? The only thing I wish they would do is automatically update their store prices based on their website. I found some pretty sweet deals on their website, so when I went into the store, I grabbed those books thinking they were on sale. When they rang up, they looked like they were full price. I asked for the cashier to honor the pricing online. While the cashier was more than willing to price match the website, I wish I didn't have to ask for it to happen. We LOVE OXO products and have nicely furnished our homes with this brand as BB&B has a huge selection. They have ample bedding options, and I love their selections for bath SHEETS. We also snagged the last Ninja blender pro (I don't recall the proper name of the model), and it has worked like a DREAM for our smoothie needs. They also have a section of the store dedicated to babies, so if you're expecting or planning on children, they can likely meet your needs!

There are SO many choices when it comes to what army to start with, and what units within that army, and it was hard for him to choose without any experience with any of them. Ken, the store manager, was incredibly helpful in asking questions to help my son find the best army for the playstyle he wanted. There were others in the store playing on the store' battle table as well, and those customers/players were also very kind in sharing their enthusiasm and answering questions.
