The metal top was dented and bent, which customer service blamed on the carrier company, after asking me to email pictures of the damaged item to customer service, which I did. BTW-The box was in good shape when it arrived. The fact that the fire pit table was previously used was NOT addressed and was obviously NOT a shipping issue, yet I still couldn't get a replacement. (I know it was returned and resold because the area that holds the lava rock was obviously dirty and lava rock dust was packed into the screws near the fire area.) I asked for a replacement top to be shipped or a portion of my purchase price be refunded or credited to my BB&B account. I was told I had to return the whole table as a replacement part was not an option. I agreed to a full replacement of the table but was then told that the item was out of stock and a replacement was not an option. Keep the set w/ the damaged piece or a refund, IF they see fit once I ship the large damaged item back. No thanks- I'll keep it and tell everyone who sees it, how BB&B wouldn't credit my account for the $200 damaged piece they resold to me. BTW - the whole outdoor patio set cost $1,400.

I shoulda checked it but as soon as I saw the top bill, I place the money in my wallet and forgot about it until Friday. Noticed on Friday 7 Mar when I tried to deposit money in my bank's ATM That's when I took the bill and went back to speak to the manager CJ. He said we check all bills during all transactions - that's weird, the Sunday I picked up my offer the employee that paid me did everything autonomously. CJ also took down my cell number and said he had to contact his general manager and get back to me. This was Friday 7 Mar 24. He said he would do some investigating and call me back on Saturday 8 Mar 25. Then he said we'll make it right with either money or something. Here it is 17 Mar a week later and still no call. I stopped by the store to ask and it was like deer in the headlights. I gave them a chance to make it right. It's been over a month. I stopped back by the store at least 3 times to speak with CJ and he's never there! I Go figure! I've left my number again and again for him to call me and I get nothing. Don't go to this store, it's a scam and I hope it closes! One bad apple spoils the whole dam bunch. If you had this happened to you, please post! I want to expose this injustice. One of the managers consistently took extremely long smoke breaks, she was rarely available when needed, and spent most of her time in the office on Facebook, or on her phone talking to her wife.. rather than helping the team on the floor. This made it difficult for employees to get the support we needed during busy shifts. The store manager Kim white also heavily contributes to a very toxic work environment. ( everyone feels this way but nobody will step Up to her) Kim white often shows clear favoritism toward certain employees while treating others extremely unfairly, she would talk about certain employees to other employees, and often got on the store microphone to openly embarrass employees when we had simple questions or concerns, which created tension and and uneasy work environment. Sue, Leanne and kaylan are wonderful managers and deserve more respect than they receive. Many of us regular workers tried to do our jobs well, but the lack of dependable leadership and professionalism made it an unpleasant and stressful place to work. I hope the company takes feedback like this seriously and addresses these issues so that future employees have a more positive experience, but I also think it's important to shed light on toxic work environments and work place mental and verbal abuse, I will also be leaving a review on yelp and I've sense contacted corporate, unfortunately I don't recommend this certain location for anyone looking for future employment.

At the back of the store, they have all the train items and an elaborate running model train setup. We brought it straight to the Hayes Hobby House and a gentleman at the back fixed it for us and didn't charge us a thing. They are so unbelievably sweet. I will be back.
