These are some of the nicest guys I have met. My dad had passed away a few years back and I didn't want to just get rid of his wedding band. I took it to michaels to see what they could do. I didn't want anything fancy - just something that I could wear every day. They worked with me on different designed they could do. They mentioned they didn't think they could do much but they made some calls and asked questions for me. After a week I had my dads ring back and I LOVE it. They carved it down to an infinity symbol - I'm sure you know the meaning behind it. Now I can wear this ring and the meaning behind it is so much more than I could imagine. I came to Michael's because my now wife's father had been going there for years. When I decided to propose I came in and Nick helped me every step along the way. He walked me through the entire process, worked with me on the design and there was no pressure at any time. He estimated the ring would be done in about 2/3 weeks and he gave me a call about 10 days later letting me know it was done. It's an absolutely beautiful ring that my wife loves. We know a few people who have went with rings from NYC and Tiffany's and their rings have had constant problems with diamonds falling out, scratches, etc. Never a problem with ours. When we came in for our wedding bands it was the same process, super helpful, great communicator and no pressure at all. My wife picked out a ring that Nick said was the only one they had of it's kind in the store and he wasn't sure if they would get more. Before we decided to purchase he set it aside so no one else would buy it before we made a final decision. My ring was much easier, but Nick still helped us to understand the different types of metals. Also bought her day of wedding present here, same service as always. Nick is extremely helpful without ever being pushy or pressuring. Explain what you like, budget, etc and he'll give you a few suggestions and show you some different options. Fixed two watches that needed batteries and has polished and cleaned both the wedding band and engagement ring any time we come into the store - all at no charge since we are returning customers. Highly recommend Michael's for their customer service, selection, pricing and attention to detail. They have made me beautiful classics, to stylish, and on trend pieces that I love and cherish. Michael's was recommended to me. I wanted a solid silver monogram bracelet for my daughter. Much to my surprise, I gave them her monogram incorrectly. They corrected it without a problem or unreasonable expense. I was thrilled as was my daughter. I've had necklaces repaired. Earrings fixed. I prefer shopping at family businesses. I have been going to Michael's Jewelers for years. They have always been great to work with. I never leave reviews, but when I went online to see the phone number, I saw a very bad review. I have never not been treated great! They are fair and do VERY nice work. We are past the age where we are buying lots of jewelry. The band on my Movada watch which was very old broke. They completely put the band back together and using links I had, made it look perfect. They then said "No Charge", which completely stunned me! They just asked that when I am in the market for jewelry to please come there, which I absolutely will. read more
