I've been wanting a legit Labubu forever, even though the hype is down now I still wanted on. I figured everything would be picked over as I went the Monday after black Friday. At first glance the Labubu version I wanted was empty but as I shopped around a worker restocked them and I was able to grab one. There's a ton of other figures I would like to collect but my poor wallet can't fund it at the moment. I ended up getting 2 free blind boxes as they extended the black Friday offer which was a nice treat. The staff at check out were really nice & patient. They have a loyalty program that's quick and easy to join.

I'm aware that some items are justified in price because they are handmade and even some by local artist but the some of the price tags shock me a bit. I do like that they have Mn merch and a bit more trendy items (like disco stuff is in at the moment). The staff weren't very friendly. There were at least 4 staff behind the counter with no one checking out. No one greeted us, even when we were looking at jewelry at the counter they all had their backs turned to us and carried on with their personal conversations. Parking is easy at this location only

I only visited their old spot on Grand Ave once, but it seems like they've expanded their inventory (see pictures). This new location has so much natural daylight and a lovely seating area for classes or just to sit and work on a project. I'm allergic to animal-based fibers (I like to joke my skin is vegan), so I'm happy they have a good selection of cotton yarn, not just one or two! They don't just stop at yarn. They have materials and tools for felting, embroidery, kits of many sorts, gifts, etc. Service: the people here are super knowledgeable and helpful! From selecting materials to pattern help, they're happy to step in. It's great to have a place where the workers are ready to help when the internet falls short. Prices: what you'd expect from a small business. You're paying for quality though. Parking: free on street or free parking lot behind the businesses next door. Accessibility: for those with wheelchairs and mobility issues, there's a wheelchair-accessible entrance in the back of the shop accessible by the alley (better to drive your car back there).

She is super negative. Complains about her staff, her competitors, other customers, and is often quite rude. I stoped shopping there when they were near Como... because of how rude she was to a friend I was with. Years later I found, and loved the new place. But the last 3 times I've gone in she's just been a cranky complainer. It's really unprofessional and quite unpleasant. So sad.

Whether it was a genuine mistake or not, changing the price by 50% at the point of sale and refusing to honor the quoted price is incredibly unprofessional. It left a very poor impression I walked away without making a purchase. I understand that mistakes happen, but if you quote someone a price you should keep your word and honor it, even if it means losing a few bucks. A friend even tried to remind them of their quote on the final day or the con as they were not sold and they told her no as well. If you're shopping here, I recommend confirming the final price before getting attached to anything. I couldn't stop thinking about these earrings all weekend. I would have never gotten my hopes up if I heard $300 to start with.

They do have quite of selection of imported goods alongside American IP merchandise. The prices range from reasonable to pricey, so you may get lucky with a steal! The saleswoman behind the stand was so kind and patient with us. There were a few products I was eyeing and she pulled each and every one of them out individually in order for me to get a better look. Even the assortment of acrylic keychains, she went through each one individually until she found the character I wanted. She didn't have to but it was such a lovely gesture! We got to talking about our favorite characters, and once we found out we shared the same interest, she pulled out this pristine vintage plush from hidden behind the counter and offered it to me at a decent price, and I knew I had to get it then and there (as well as the keychain). I'm nowhere near their brick and mortar store, but if you happen upon these people at a local con, check them out! They're knowledgable and friendly and a pleasure to deal with!
