I always find some very cute gifts at Paper Source, but they can be a bit pricey. They also don't carry the kind of planners I like (I still use physical planners!) but they do offer a staggering assortment of nice journals, lined and unlined (and they carry Moleskine notebooks). I like to look through the clearance sections as I'll often find a treasure or two...on one visit I bought a unique set of Art Deco-themed blank cards (seemingly the last one available and still not cheap at $10). read more

There's two entrances, they have a main door and one more in the "alley". They have a nice array of mixture between paper crafts, miscellaneous gifts and seasonal items. They also have a clearance section for various items too. We were greeted kindly at the beginning and checked in again later on which is always nice. The pricing can be a little higher then expected for some items but overall it's nice place to pop in and you might find something fun to take home or gift! read more

Wow. It's been a long time since I felt so unwelcome at a store. I came in asking for "kate spade style" organization tools or notebooks, and the associate, who's name I don't know, and he didn't introduce himself- told me that they "have absolutely nothing like" and literally gestured to the exit! I was so shocked, I didn't know how to respond! This was about 1:30 PM on Saturday July 18 at the Edina location. I didn't want any trouble so I left as soon he directed me to the front door. All I asked for was kate spade style products! I don't know why he treated me that way but I was very shocked. I was prepared to spend money and browse. I do plan on contacting a manager because really that was unacceptable and also I saw that the website DOES sell kate spade! read more

Like Paper Source in Uptown, this location has all the crafty things that you're looking for: a gift-wrapping station, clever cards for any occasion, and other cute-sy items. Paper-gasms a-plenty. Today, I dropped in to pick up some "thank you" cards and gift bags. Sure, I could get them at a convenient store, but Paper Source's goodies seem to be of higher quality. That's why I keep coming back. And the cards... I love the cards, especially the one that's a bar graph that includes one bar listed as "your awesome level" that's much higher than the other bar listed as "everyone else." That card is always a winner. It took me a while to find the gift bags (that are located behind a random shelf tucked by the window), so I think they could reorganize some parts of the store a bit to make it easier. I didn't find the staff to be particularly helpful, since no one offered to help me despite being the only one in the store towards the end of my visit. They weren't rude, though. I would consider dropping by again if in the area, but the staff aren't as friendly or as well laid-out as the Uptown location. read more

I have to agree with Jonathan here - service is not good. In fact, it was nonexistent for me, since we were completely ignored during our visit - not so much as a hello or a smile or a glance in our direction. In fact, at first I couldn't even tell who the staff people were, since no one was in the counter area, and they were working at one of the tables in the corner. I was shopping for a planner, and although they had a small, cute collection, nothing suited my needs. I almost purchased these adorable kitty-themed notebooks for my niece's birthday, but since the staff lived up to Edina's snobby reputation, I decided not to spend my money here. read more

I love going to paper source to see all the cute stationary and gifts in store. I've been to a few locations around the cities but this one was the worst experience yet. There was only one other group of shoppers in the store yet the 4 workers completely ignored me except for when I asked a question. One associate seemed nice but the others couldn't take a pause from their gossiping to even look in my direction let alone offer help. Customer service was pretty dismal, I'll be going to other locations in the future even though this is the closest to me. read more

As always a nice mix of pre-printed cards blank cards and card stock, and little cute funky gifts. We were looking at the envelopes and a nice young lady came by to help us and very sweetly directed us to what we needed. It was more expensive than I thought it should have been ($6.50 for 10 A9 envelopes!?) Which was frustrating otherwise they actually had what we wanted. read more

This is my all time go to place for cards and gift wrap! I love that they are always changing their stock out where I can find unique and cute cards all of the time. I stopped into this store while on vacation looking for a card for a dinner party that I was invited to by a mutual friend. The salespeople were very attentive and sweet. read more

If your looking to buy a greeting card this is a good spot. If you need anything else, be prepared to find it on your own. On a recent visit I asked for help and once again received the customary "it's over there" as a response. They have the worst customer service, and it's the norm for this store. The best Twin Cities location! Great staff and great store.

I used the Paper Source in my hometown for all of my wedding stationary (bridal shower invites, bridal thank yous, wedding invites, wedding thank yous) and loved their quality and selection. I also use Paper Source for random cute "presents" (re: things for me). I have had the good fortune to come upon a few while I am traveling, and enjoy stopping in as I know they will have something I need/want. I visited one in Portland, and I visited this one in MN-I was sending a birthday present back home to the OH and I wanted it to be wrapped in style. The sales people there were extremely helpful as well as extremely talented; they made my little present look like a million bucks (kind of like Mr. Bean did in "Love Actually" while wrapping that present for Alan Rickman).
