The owner was there with some women and they were talking and knitting together. When I asked for help finding the right yarn, she helped me immediately. I ended up buying some bubble gum pink yarn to make a little one a pink sweater. I'm very happy with my purchase, with the selection, and with the help I received. I wish I was more experienced at knitting so I could take advantage of some of the beautiful alpaca, wool, cotton, linen yarn she carried.

The person behind the counter didn't speak to me hardly at all, which is something I have grown to expect at most LYS. Even though I was the only person signing up for 2 classes, they were not cancelled. In fact I ended up with a private lesson from Denise. This was impressive and she was great, not to mention watching the glass fusing going on beside my jewelry classes...people making huge platters and dishes in multi color fused glass. I believe that if you have an open mind, you can always learn and the exchange of valuable information & inspiration between artists is something that spurs one on. The employee near me was coughing and blowing her nose and placed the tissue in her pocket. I felt this was very unsanitary, especially since she was stocking items and touching them with unclean hands. I was immediately frustrated and uncomfortable and left within two minutes of arriving. I visited a different location.
