I got a fill and pedicure and was not impressed. My nail chipped within 1 day of getting my nails done with gel. Then the pedicure is a joke! All they did is put lotion on my feet, filed my nails and didn't even get the dry skin off my feet. There was no massage or anything. read more

Long overdue review! Thank you so much Michael for taking care of my nails the past 4 years. From dip to acrylic, fun to classy, he can do it all!!! Im a stickler for nice apex, shape, and thickness. Loved this place! We have been looking for a good place in Moses Lake (the reviews of other places have made us wary) and we decided to try this place based on Google reviews for this location. We were not disappointed at all! The owner and his wife are the only ones working which means sometimes they run behind but the wait was not tedious, and they were the friendliest nail technicians we have had since moving from Oregon. The salon is beautifully designed and clean as anything. The nail drying station is awesome and they have a great selection of polish colors. We will definitely be back in a few weeks! read more

I went here twice. The first time was mediocre. The pedicure was rushed and the guy had polish everywhere. My fingers had dip on them which I wanted removed and just a nice color put on. The man told me no and then put on the worst clear coat ever. I went home and fixed them. The second time I went same thing with the pedicure but then I thought I would try gel on my fingers. I selected my color and then he started to trim my cuticles. He over clipped to the point I was bleeding and then the gel polish was literally all over my fingers. When I said something he said he would take it off when he was done. They were lumpy and uneven. When I complained he blamed the polish for being a bad color choice (pale pink) I asked him to redo them as I wasn't pleased so he scrapped off the gel without any acetone and then picked out a very different color for me. I ended up with silver sparkles. My fingers were sore and the gel only last 1 day before chipping. I will not go back. The owner was sitting in the chair next to me and did t say a word as all of this happened. It was the worst "spa" experience of my life. read more

First, we walked in and their chairs are literally touching. I have a compromised immune system and don't want my arm against a complete stranger for the duration of my pedicure. They're not practicing social distancing of any kind. There were plenty of other chairs available to space people apart. Then, they refused to use the brand new, unopened nail polish I brought with me. NEVER in decades of getting pedicures have I ever had a salon refuse to use my personal nail polish. Especially during a pandemic! I'm appalled at the lack of professionalism and complete absence of customer service. I have heard positive comments about Michael & Jenny's work, so decided to give it a try. Unfortunately, I had my nails done by the older gentleman. He was very nice, but it was the worst gel manicure I have ever had! He was rough, used a course file over the TOP of my nails and filed my nails uneven in length...some shorter than others. Within a week I had breaks low on my nails (painful) & polish started chipping off. To be fair, I should have complained when he asked me how I liked my nails, but I just wanted to get out of there! I suggest he be sent for more training!! read more

Don't have your nails done by the man who uses the second spot. He is rough. Scratched my fingertip. Did not finish off the the gel of the nails (had residue over end and side of nails). Left nail polish over the sides of nails. Paid $10.00 more than another salon and was an AWFUL job. Won't go back there. read more

Had my appointment at 3:15 but had to wait 45 minutes while she started a pedicure. Then I showed a picture of what I wanted, on the accent nails half black at the base with red at the tips and white dots for Mickey Mouse. She did it backward. When I tried to speak up she argued with me. I should have gotten my phone back out but had already been there over an hour and needed to go. So friends of mine were always getting there nails done and decided to ask them where they go. They all said Michael's Nails and Spa!! The girls said to request Michael or his wife Jenny that they are the best! So I made an appointment to get my nails done requested Michael and he said they were booked all week but he said he would open early for me and asked me to come in the next day.. excited and felt appreciated came in the next day before they opened and he did my nails they way I wanted.. my nails stayed on never broke or chipped.. I was very pleased with his work!!! Will be going back to him again!.... only thing I was did not like was that they don't accept debit. Cash only!!! Cute, clean atmosphere and comfy chairs! I got a fill on Wednesday and broke 2 nails by Friday :/. Then broke another nail that I never use (my pinky nail), so I'm disappointed how my gel,acrylic nails didn't last. A little more expensive then my usual place in Moses lake. Probably will go back for a pedicure only. They did replace my broken nails for free, no argument, which makes me feel like they care about their customers but doesn't change the fact that my nails were not strong compared to everywhere else I've went. After living here for 3 years I have tried about every nail salon in town. This is by far the best nail salon . They do a great job on your nails and everyone of the employees is very nice and fun to talk to. They are pretty busy so it doesn't hurt to make an appointment just to make sure you get in. I would definitely recommend giving them a shot. read more

I went to get my nails done at the end of August and I was not entirely convinced that this is the best place in Moses Lake to get a manicure. I went in and waited probably 10 minutes which is not more than I expected. I told the manicurist exactly what I wanted (I showed him a picture and explained to him that I wanted them to look just like the picture) and he said that was fine. He recommended a color to me that he said was the most similar to what I wanted and after sitting there for about an hour while he worked away I was less than impressed. The nail polish he recommended turned out to be one of those color changing ones depending on the temperature, and it was the most horrible shade of blue (I wanted a matte purple). He assured me the color would change to the one I wanted, they never did. The shape of the nails was okay. But I expected more for $50. read more

I went here based on the yelp reviews but I won't go back. I guess they've expanded beyond just the husband and wife or something because I had the worst pedicure here with a guy I'm not sure has ever done nails before. The guy was nice but smelled quite bad of cigarettes. His nails were broken meaning he was poking me with them the whole time. He didn't take off all the previous (regular, not gel) polish which meant a mess for the color on top. He only used one cotton ball for this and wouldn't get a second for the other foot. I was constantly instructed to keep my feet out of the soak for some reason. His hands were cold and he seemed to have learned to do nails by only watching someone else do it because he moves the tools in the right way but can't seem to get it right. He was very sloppy with his work, splashing water, product, etc. The scrub was welcomed even though it smelled like industrial cleaner because it covered up the smell of smoke. He tried to take off the tub liner with my feet still in it.... The dumped all the dirty water into the linerless tub... Gross! The massage is my favorite part and I just felt bad for him because I think he I was terribly uncomfortable doing it. During and after the polish, he actually blew on my nails. I did not see any sanitization of tools or files and probably should have walked out at that point. I have no idea how this place currently has 5 stars because it is the furthest thing from professional I've ever experienced at a salon. read more

Will never return. Had an appointment was left with my nails wrapped in foil with acetone on cotton ball 40 minutes. Every cuticle hurts and is splitting Filed one nail till it was bleeding and was flat on one side. Find a salon who doesn't overbook. There is more than money doing a good job is a concept. read more
