I have been a customer at this Joann's since 2002, and I still remember receiving an email in late 2015 warning that if Trump were elected, tariffs would rise, leading to increased prices on their predominantly Chinese-imported products. I found the email not only peculiar but also offensive, as it seemed to infringe upon my right to vote freely. Despite this, I continued shopping there until about four years ago, when I noticed a significant change in the staff, which I found unsettling. Ironically, the store supported the candidate they favored in 2020, yet less than four years later, a business that has been operating since 1943 is closing its doors. This serves as a reminder to be careful what your wish for.

Coming in the front door, I had a cashier check on the price with discount. I went in to browse in the paper crafting area, which unfortunately is being over-run by the Cricut, and discovered that the store was also running a 25% off sale on clearance items. The value was outstanding, and I also bought paper (sheets) on sale. I will definitely return regularly because this store's merchandise selection is extremely good.

The store opened in September, and I've visited three times since then. It has all my crafting go-tos and with Halloween being right around the corner, I was able to pull quite a few things at 70% off! I love that!

I went in for paint and the selection was extremely depleted- so much so, it wasn't worth the trip out to the store. Crafter saturated area? Possibly. The 4 stars are for cleanliness (easy because it's new) and because of service- the cashier was fast and friendly. I love Michael's in general- it is my go to for art supplies.
