The staff are very helpful and super knowledgeable so come with questions and leave with answers. They also have a display with several trains set up with buttons for people to try to see what lights up or makes sound. The trains were not moving while we were there and they were kind of busy in the lead up to Christmas so we didn't ask to have them running, but I'm sure they would have turned them on if we had asked.

As soon as I walked in I was overwhelmed by the smell of what could best be described as sad old broccoli and feet. A man who I have deduced was the owner was in the shop, and as soon as I walked in he glared at me as if I was carrying some kind of weaponry. He didn't greet me or welcome me, but instead walked over to a table in the back area where he sat down to paint miniatures. He never stopped staring at me as if I had intruded somehow. I got excited to go in and shop, but the way the employees treated me, I wouldn't spend a penny. There was one guy outside wearing a store t-shirt so I started chatting with him since I was about to go in HIS STORE, and he literally just stared at me like I was from Mars. Didn't even reply to my speaking. So I went in to browse and there were several other employees in the back area who clearly saw me but couldn't be bothered to greet me, welcome me into the store, ask if they could help me out in any way. Turned around and left without buying anything, because let's be real: everything in that store is available online and cheaper. The only reason to buy at those prices is to support local, but if local can't treat you with a shred of dignity, why would you?

On Tuesday nights starting at 6 pm they have a league for Pathfinder that runs till 10 o'clock or better. Pathfinder is an off shoot of D&D 3.5 and it's amazing. I'm kind on the fence as I want to buy all their stuff, and they're just about to revamp things after 10 years of playing it their own way. To be part of the evening it works best if you sign up through a website called war horn. I've only managed to do it correctly one time, but you might be better at understanding it all. I also have 4 kids so I'm not free to take advantage of it like I'd like. On Thursday nights they do the same for D&D. I know they run 5e, but may be messing around with some of the older versions as well. At the old store, my first visit the people working behind the desk for amazingly welcoming and informative, and maybe even cooler did not ridicule me or disregard me as I was completely new to learning about Pathfinder and their evenings of in-store gaming. Probably because you're in the environment you're going to get somebody who is an Uber gamer/collector and they will seem to gain experience by letting you know your place of new town idiot, but aside from "that dude" the place is worth finding and adding into your social experience.
