I'm having friends over for a St. Patrick's day and needed some fun decorations. Festive display's for Valentine's Day and St. Patrick's Day. Moderate prices, helpful customer service.

I brought my art to be framed here. I was very impressed on how it turned out. I was very impressed with the framers in the back of the store, and their experience, my Art came out, amazing and the pieces turned out beautiful. They even got it done way ahead of time than what they expected. I am so thankful to have such a wonderful Michaels art framing team nearby and I cannot wait to go back and bring my pieces over there again, thank you so much for all the laughs and wonderful smiles you have brought me.

Great location right across quail springs and always has great promotions throughout. Oddly enough I've bought more home decor seasonal items than craft things here ever. They always have a fun dollar spot as well everything from stationary to kid toys. Tons of great kid crafts for holidays such as pumpkin decorating kits to seasonal decor for the home. However the thing that really lacks in this store is the checkout lines absolutely awful every time and the wait is crazy long because they only have 1 maybe 2 associates checking you out.

The frame shop staff is EXCELLENT

the store is nice and all but I witnessed a Michaels manager being really rude to a Michaels crew member.

The team seemed to be led by a young man who instigated much of the fun as well as the top notch customer service.

I do not knit. However, my wife does and I have picked up a few tidbits of knowledge from this. I…read morehave also been her companion on several visits to this store. From a non-knitters point of view, and experienced yarn store visitor, this is a nice place. I think the first time I visited, they were in the midst of remodeling or reorganizing their show area. It was still a very nice environment, and a pleasant store. We just went there over the weekend, and it was in tip-top shape! There is a decent amount of yarn on hand, and several tables and a couch to sit at. Lots of notions and accessories, as well as a small selection of clothing and wearable creations. The store does not carry 'all the yarns', but they have a very nice selection of yearn weights, colors and fibers. Considering how many boutique yarn dyers and craft spinning junkies there are online, it would be silly to try to carry them all. However, you should be able to find a nice skein or two that you really need to take home and introduce to the rest of your stash. Last, but not least, they have one of the nicest store restrooms I have ever used. 'The Loo' is small, but very clean, nicely decorated and easy to access. And clean, did I mention that? Anyway, if you are escorted to another yarn shop by your SO, this one is a good choice.

Walking in the shop (which is nestled in the lovely historic section of Guthrie), you'll be…read moreimpressed by the gorgeous presentation and extensive selection. SWAK has more Noro than you can shake a stick at and if you're looking for Rowan, they've got it. [Edited to Add: They no longer stock Noro Kureyon! This is upsetting.] While SWAK does offer online shopping from their website, visiting the store is the way to go since being able to see the colors of the yarn up close and feel the texture is half the fun. If you're looking for needles or hooks, they've got a nice selection and also a generous choice of books and gift items. Service can be a little iffy depending on what day you go- sometimes I've received outstanding help and other times the staff have seemed uninterested in answering any questions. Definitely worth the drive from Oklahoma City, especially if you plan on making an afternoon of visiting the neighboring antique shops and taking the city trolley tour.
