First time ordering and ordered for 40 employees! Everything was on point and delivered on time! Ordered a bunch of pizzas and some large pasta trays from the catering menu. Enjoyed the food and service!! Will definitely be ordering more frequently. And don't sleep on the lasagna.. it was good and hearty. One of my coworkers who's eaten there recommended the sandwiches.. will definitely try next time! read more

In this season where comfort food is deeply appreciated, we were excited to get pizza for my husbands birthday. This was a SPLURGE as it costs almost twice as much as what we'd usually get. I'm not sure if they were running low on sauce and cheese because this pizza hardly has any on it. I can not imagine that this is how it's prepared regularly. Perhaps they have someone new. At some spots, the cheese didn't start until at least 2 inches from the edge and the sauce looks like it was brushed on... it is all but non-existent. The crust is good, which I'm thankful for but this is just really disappointing. Massive FAIL. read more

Horrible experience here which made me finally sign up with Yelp. I will start out by saying that the pizza here is hit or miss. Last night the pizza they delivered tasted terrible. It tasted like cardboard made out of baking soda. Unfortunately, I ate 2 slices and felt sick afterward. My sweet husband went to return the pizza the next day and to try and explain what happened. He didn't expect a refund, but since we live close by he wanted to express the disappointment in person. Anyway, the business owner, Michael P. of all people, had the audacity to ask if he got it out of the trash! I really cannot believe this disrespect and disgrace! We will NEVER give them our business ever again. Disgusting management and disgusting pizza! Get out of Calabasas you classless creep! Beware of some of the fake positive reviews too. read more

Very homey and clean pizza place. Perfect stop after a game of ball. I bring kids and adults here every 5-6 weeks after a game. We order pizza in advance so by the time we get here it is ready. Every employee is helpful and warm. They know us now and that makes experience even better. Pizza is always fresh and very testy! We tried cheese, bbq chicken, mushroom and pepperoni. Every slice was gone!!! You can order to go, get your pizza picked or, like us, have it there. A few tables are available outside and there is plenty of parking! We highly recommend this Neighborhood Gem! read more

Michael's Pizza My friend has been hyping up Michael's Pizza for as long as I could remember, so naturally I was really excited to include this to be a part of my Pizza of the Month cycle. Not might be the best pizza I have ever had, but it's not the worst. Pretty standard pie here. There's no definitive features that Michael's Pizza has that makes it out of the ordinary. The only thing that the company stands out for is its ridiculous charge of $1 for ranch. You cheapskates. The takeout method did not hold the heat of the pie well, really would have liked the pizza to be hotter and crispier. Nothing worse than having to throw the sucker in the oven. But that's the price you pay when it comes to takeout I guess. So I probably won't be having Michael's for a while, but that's not to say others won't enjoy it. If you're in the Calabasas area and don't want to succumb to Dominos. Then Michael's is your best and safest best! Which isn't that bad of an alternative. read more

I paid for extra sausage & red onion. There were barely any sausage, no red onion which I had to ask for & they gave it to me on a side. Pizza was ready by 20 minutes late. And the worst part is that the owner or lady at the front was adding toppings to my pizza without gloves while she had a runny nose & had a napkin in one hand. She also touched phone, pen, money & etc & of course touching food. That's how people easily get such by eating outside food. read more

Ordered delivery 6:17 pm and was told it would be 45 minutes Called 7:33 to check in Was told it would be another 20 minutes I asked for a refund The woman was rude and said no, we are short staffed and a small business If you're short staffed maybe tell people when they place an order? I had an old Groupon for Michael's. It says on the certificate that it is good for my purchase price until 2/28/25. The owner refused to honor the certificate because the promotional value was expired. He's not a very good businessman because he lost out on a larger purchase today and I won't return in the future! read more

Michael's Pizza Calabasas gets 3 stars from me, for now. Came here today for lunch for my first time and left not quite as satisfied as I was hoping. While I thought the pasta, and particularly the marinara sauce, was pretty good, the quantity is quite small. Granted, at the price of $6.99, I can't complain much, but I don't think I'd be able to regularly depend on this place to fill me up for a pasta lunch. I'll have to give their pizzas a try next. If looking for an Italian restaurant in Calabasas off Las Virgenes, this might be your only option in the area. It's not a bad choice, as the food is delicious, and the prices are affordable, but the serving sizes, at least for the pastas, are not quite substantial enough to satisfy. It'll do in a pinch, but I'd recommend maybe ordering double if you're hungry. Service here is fast and friendly, and though they don't have indoor seating, there are a few tables outside to enjoy your meal. read more

When in the mood for NY style pizza locally I frequent Michael's. The pizza is a thin crust, nicely balanced with cheese and sauce and very tasty. I do the lunch special. I also enjoy their veal parmigiana sandwich. Diversified menu and fair prices with good quality. Service is good, but you can only eat outside or take your food to go. Recommend. read more

By far the worst customer service I have ever experienced in all of my deliveries. The driver got the address incorrect and proceeded to blame us as if we didn't know our own address. Then when I called to get some help and clarification, the girl that answered the phone was beyond rude And because of her alone, I would NEVER again order from Michael's Pizza. I hope for the owners sake, they get some new people in their working because it was a great place before. Even when I called back the following day to speak to the manager, the same girl from the previous night got on the phone with me with an attitude and was less than helpful. Not to mention our food was cold by the time it finally came! read more

This used to be the best pizza spot. The staff was never friendly (delivery driver's aside,) but at least the food was great. Same rude and unkind owner, but now the food is also bad. It's unfortunate the owner and staff treat people this way. They lost their touch! read more

Michael's is a staple in this community. The pizza is incredibly good which I believe is because of their authentic mozzarella cheese. We get pepperoni and Hawaiian pizzas every week. I love the Hawaiian pizza cold the next day again, because of the cheese. The also have calzones and pizza by the slice which is super convenient when you just want a pizza fix. They also deliver and there are tables outside that you can enjoy the day and eat at there. There is a roof so good shade in the day and you can bring you dog! read more

Had them for them first time last week. They delivered to the baseball fields at lupin for my sons team which was amazing. The pizza was delicious! I had a few slices left over and brought them home and they were super yummy after being reheated in the air fryer. Def will order from here again. read more

What we found was something far more meaningful. Our little girl, Pinta, had just celebrated her 17th birthday. To most people she's "just a dog." To us, she's family... our little strawberry. She's been courageously battling health issues, and after days of worry, tears, and countless prayers, there was one tiny victory worth celebrating: She wanted to eat. Without hesitation, one incredibly kind young gentleman--whose name I wish I could remember--prepared a fresh chicken dinner especially for her. It wasn't extravagant. It wasn't complicated. It was simply... kind. And somehow, that simple act became the most important meal served in the restaurant that evening. Watching her happily nibble on fresh chicken, stop for a sip of cool water, then come back for another bite felt like watching hope return one mouthful at a time. The server came over, greeted and attended to the couple beside me, walked back and forth several times, and checked on every table around me -- yet never once acknowledged me. Not a greeting. Not eye contact. Not even a simple "I'll be right with you." At first, I assumed it was an oversight. After watching him repeatedly attend to everyone around me, it became very clear that it wasn't. It was uncomfortable enough that guests at the surrounding tables began noticing and looking over. Even when another staff member brought food to the table directly in front of me, I was still completely ignored. Eventually, I left. There is nothing sophisticated about treating a paying guest as though they are invisible. Good service is not about being overly attentive -- it is about basic awareness, courtesy, and professionalism. Unfortunately, this restaurant managed to deliver the opposite. A beautiful setting can never compensate for a complete lack of hospitality. I certainly won't be returning.

The Palomilla sandwich had tough and chewy meat with a sad portion of broken up shoestring fries, and the top piece of bread was razor thin and falling apart, leaving it essentially open faced. See pics for more details. The beans were almost entirely liquid broth looking like the bottom of the pot than a proper side. The meal felt like it was put together from the end of the day leftovers sadly. I know there is new staff upfront and in the kitchen, but serving food in this condition is unacceptable. I'm posting this with photos in the hope that management sees it and gets quality control back to where it used to be.

The Father's Day tomahawk steak special was a great value for the price and the portion was huge. The steak was good, but compared to other tomahawks we've had, it wasn't quite as memorable, which is the only reason for the 4-star rating. The creamed spinach was amazing, and the mashed potatoes were delicious. What truly made this experience stand out was the customer service. David and, I believe, Lance were absolutely wonderful. They were friendly, attentive, and made us feel genuinely welcomed. Their hospitality elevated the entire experience. While dining, I noticed several guests stopping to thank them, give them hugs, and say goodbye personally. That says a lot about how well they treat their customers. If management sees this, please know these two are incredible assets to your team and deserve recognition. We didn't order from the bar since we brought our own champagne, but the bartender was also very friendly. Overall, the staff was outstanding, the atmosphere was beautiful, and we enjoyed ourselves so much that we plan to come back and stay at the hotel in the future.
