It was my first time and I was taken aback that you could try soups which I thought was super amusing. There were a wild array including chilis, chilled soups, as well as their usuals. I opted for the beef bone broth. When I tell you that this was probably one of the best soups I've had in my life...wow. I'm also getting over a cold so this really hit the spot. I also grabbed a chicken salad from their fridge (they also have handmade desserts). It was a bit saltier than I expected but pretty good! 4/5 for me. They always taste pretty fresh and tasty. They used to make a really delicious bread that they gave with the soup but they've stopped doing that which honestly made me go less often- yes, it was that good! What a cute little spot! I love the selection of fresh and frozen soups. The team was incredibly nice and let me try all of the fresh soups (hello indecisive!) and I have to say they were ALL delish! I ended up with the Italian veggie soup, but the carrot ginger was a close second. The bone broths were also quite tasty. Sole Soups has been one of my favorite go-to spots since I started buying soups, chilis, and stews from them at the Calabasas farmer's market in 2017. It's very rare to find a restaurant that produces in-house wholesome food using whole ingredients instead of unhealthy processed food that's full of chemicals, gums, and fillers like most restaurants and food manufacturers do. In an era where customer service is often overlooked, I find the owner and staff to be some of the most thoughtful and appreciative people at any type of business I've been to in recent memory. Even with the inflation we've experienced over the past few years, their prices have remained very reasonable. I highly recommend stopping by and grabbing a bone broth or soup and a frozen chili or stew to-go and saving it for one of those days you don't feel like cooking. read more

Absolutely amazing exceeded any expectations will be back. Lots of options from hot selection they even had TWO vegan ones. My children liked the chicken soup and then also ate most of my red lentil and coconut curry (they said they would I get those flavors next time instead of chicken haha!) Sole Soups specializes in home-made soups with quality ingredients located next to Agoura Gym and a martial arts studio. Service was fantastic. I wish I got the girl's (with the blonde pony-tail) name who was working on Monday evening. Every day there are about 8 different soups. I believe 2 of the soups are standard for that particular day of the week. I came here after work and by the time I left, there was a line out the door around 6pm. I sampled 3 different flavors (cauliflower, split pea, and kale/lentils) and I went home with a cup of split pea. The soup required no chewing as everything was pureed. I could actually taste the quality and freshness of the ingredients! You can also buy pre-made, frozen, soups of ALL their flavors and heat it up at home. They have a couple of other items such as salads, sides such as potato salad, carrots, quinoa, and there's also eggplant parm that you can heat up at home too. 5 stars for food quality/3 stars for value. My wife and I had lunch here today. I had a bowl of pea soup. My wife had a bowl of turkey chili. We split a side order of white bean and tuna salad. When I say bowl, I mean a paper bowl with plastic spoons. This was $25+ The soup and chili were very good. What you would expect from a place that specializes in soup. Fresh. Tasty. Perfect texture. They also have other foods, like chicken parmigiana and salads. You can sample the soups before committing. I would come here again... but for the money maybe I should learn how to make soup at home. I imagine $25 of home cooked soup would go a lot further than two bowls. Last point, and it may seem trivial, but it's not. They only have outdoor tables. The tables are wooden with slat tops with half an inch gap between slats. Your customers are eating soup in bowls. If the bowl tilts into a slat, guess what? Soup pants. Nobody wants Soup pants. I sampled the parsnips and apple, butternut squash and the yellow split pea. Oh. My. Goodness. they were all absolutely delicious however, the parsnips and apple soup had a knock your socks off flavor. Bought a large size of each! In their freezer case is a vast assortment of frozen soups to take home and pop in your freezer. Nice assortment of vegetarian, non vegetarian and vegan soups. I also noticed they had single servings of eggplant parmigiana and vegetarian lasagna. And as time goes by, I'm told they will have more offerings. Parking is easy and right out front. A customer in front of me asked to see the salad and mentioned "the salads are not in the menu" the way he responded that the salads are listed on Instagram was very derogatory. as for the soups they tasted nice but more plain and definitely not filling.
