Worst customer service ..everytime I come in here the guy at front has an attitude and is racist and terrible at hiding it!!!!!Although the women are extremely nice it just dampens the experience every time. He holds his head down when speaking and needs training on proper customer service. And he's constantly lying about sauce pricing. Another solid lunch at GB. Tried the shrimp paste fried rice for the first time, which was pungent and umami but not too salty or fishy. Also got the Pad see ew for the first time. It was on the sweet side. I still prefer pad Thai. And of course we had to get our favorite crispy pork with Chinese broccoli. Bad service. I used to love this spot. For a quick work lunch, calling ahead meant my food was ready in 10 minutes, allowing me to sit down and enjoy my break. Unfortunately, my recent experience was completely different. I tried calling multiple times between 12:00 PM and 12:30 PM last Tuesday, but the phone went straight to voicemail, giving the impression that call-in orders were being ignored. When I drove over, the restaurant was completely empty, yet the service from the new server was surprisingly hostile. She seemed annoyed when I asked for water, giving me a smirk. When my food was ready and I asked for fish sauce--a standard request at any Thai restaurant--she condescendingly asked, "Anything else?" as if I were a burden. I matched her tone and said no. It is no mystery why this place was empty during prime lunch hours. Management, you need to retrain or replace your staff before you lose long-time loyal customers to other Thai spots nearby. --------- Yes, I work off Lost Hills, and I'm referring to the exact same restaurant. Instead of asking what could have been done better, your first instinct was to tell me I was wrong. That response says a lot. It's unreasonable to expect one person to be handling the phone, packing to go orders, taking orders at tables, delivering drinks, and clearing tables. So surprise that their foods were so authentic! At first I didn't not expect anything but I heard from some Thai people said this place is pretty good. We ordered Thai boat noodle, fried tofu and pork laarb (everything medium spicy). I love everything! Fried tofu is fried perfectly, soft inside and crispy outside. I saw the Thai aunties cooking the food when I went to the bathroom so I knew it was going to be authentic and good. AND WAS! I ordered the Pad Woon Sen w chicken. The veggies were so fresh and the flavor was mild but loved that they have the chili spices on the side to make it hot! I found this place by driving by and noticing the cute atmospheric lights around the cafe and I wanted to try it out. Food was delicious and flavorful. I got the Chicken Thai fried rice, Chicken Satay with peanut sauce, and fried chicken dumplings which all hit the spot with flavor. The service was great and the waitresses were very kind. Disappointing meal. It has been a few years since we've eaten a meal from here, so I'm wondering if ownership has changed. It was always so delicious in the past. We were planning to be in the area, so we ordered a take-out meal to take home. We ordered 2 x Yellow curry with chicken - MILD. Unfortunately it came with very little flavor and WAS spicy. I called the next day and was told it was mild and to say "not spicy" next time. It seems all they did was take away the flavor, but not the spice. I also remember previously they didn't add onions and carrots to this dish, and it would have been so much better without. We had one without carrots, but there were a lot of onions. We also ordered the Pad Thai Noodles with beef. These were tasteless and just clung together. The beef was very thin and had very little flavor. We were glad we added a side of peanut sauce for flavor. The Thai Iced coffee, was DELICOUS. But on the whole, a very disappointing meal for over $70 with tip. read more

It was nicely folded and fried so I came out like a flower. The filling consists of cream cheese and imitation crab meat. The sweet chili sauce was very yummy. Good portions. The chicken was cooked well, and the curry came out steaming hot with such a great aroma of flavors. 2 years ago this was our favorite thai restaurant. But things has changed since. Portions got smaller. Listening skills decreased. I always order no onions and they put onions in my dish. And usually I don't complain, I just pick the onions out. I always eat not spicy. Last few orders I got extra spicy, even I ordered not spicy, I repeated my self twice - not spicy. Please listen to your customer better. I drove back to exchange it, and got nothing but attitude back. I asked them to do the right thing. But they literally don't care. Customer service is horrible. This is the best Thai food in the whole Valley, besides 'Hope' in Studio city. I order from here regularly. The ingredients are ALWAYS super fresh and service is always friendly and fast. Also, the dishes are not overly oily! This is such a relief.. too many places add way too much oil and make it low quality. Green Basil Thai adds only small amounts of oil while keeping the veggies crisp and fresh. (Not overcooked) I recommend ordering the drunken noodles. I like to order mine VEGAN (without fish sauce), and VERY spicy. The drunken noodles are imo, the best dish on the menu- always full with fresh Thai basil, and a nice mix of veggies- highly recommended ordering BOTH veggies AND your choice of protein- it's only like $2 extra. The green curry is also wonderful! My only constructive criticism would be for the Pad Thai- I actually think their version of this dish lacks authenticity.. it needs more flavor and depth.. maybe it's lacking a good quality tamarind?
