Another solid lunch at GB. Tried the shrimp paste fried rice for the first time, which was pungent and umami but not too salty or fishy. Also got the Pad see ew for the first time. It was on the sweet side. I still prefer pad Thai. And of course we had to get our favorite crispy pork with Chinese broccoli. Love the crunchy, savory and fatty texture of the pork juxtaposed with the sweet, slippery and snappy Chinese broccoli. Fresh off the wok dishes arrived fast with the aroma from the wok (wok hei) lingering.

Delicious food and wonderful, quick service. This restaurant is a gem and the Panang curry with soy chicken was delectable. I had a Thai iced tea and a Thai iced coffee and boba was available for both! Beautiful, bright dining area with festive decor. The team here is so welcoming and the owner does a fantastic job. I am vegan and this was a rare find. I will be back again!!

Service has become quite slow and lacking. The owners should really have two employees out front. It's unreasonable to expect one person to be handling the phone, packing to go orders, taking orders at tables, delivering drinks, and clearing tables. It's a small restaurant but they are understaffed. It's not the employees fault. The owners need to get another person to share the workload. There is work more than one person can do alone.

My girlfriend and I found this place nearby and we had to try it. It's a small but cozy spot off of Los Virgenes with a warm and respectful staff ! We ordered the crab fried rice and drunken noodles and it was delicious ! Presentation was nice and it didn't take too long to prepare even though they were visually busy with walk-ins and take-out orders. Overall, will go again ! Things that stood out - Good service - Atmosphere - Quality

Just left LAX heading towards VC and decided to stop here for a quick dinner. The vibe was chill with a few tables and service was quick and friendly. I saw the Thai aunties cooking the food when I went to the bathroom so I knew it was going to be authentic and good. AND WAS! I ordered the Pad Woon Sen w chicken. The veggies were so fresh and the flavor was mild but loved that they have the chili spices on the side to make it hot! The portion was large enough to get full, share with my kid and have leftovers for a morning snack. My husband got the Pad See Ew and let me know it had good flavor and was the best he'd had in a while. Random: the bathroom was clean and smelled so good!! Would def go back to try some other favorites.

I found this place by driving by and noticing the cute atmospheric lights around the cafe and I wanted to try it out. Food was delicious and flavorful. I got the Chicken Thai fried rice, Chicken Satay with peanut sauce, and fried chicken dumplings which all hit the spot with flavor. The service was great and the waitresses were very kind. I also got Roti Nom which is a flatbread with condensed milk and sugar and I loved it. Not overly sweet and a light dessert!

Authentic and friendly place. Small but tasty. Come before rush hour like meal times and you will be fine. The good part is there is a parking lot next to the building. Nice little place with really Thai food that has not been Americanized and I hope not anytime soon. I can hear the wok sound from where I sit. Taste it while it is smoking hot and it is how the Thai food is supposed to be. Music is Thai, food is Thai, waitress is Thai and the feeling is Thai as well.

Ask the Community - Green Basil Thai

Can you eat in or is it just take-out?

You can east inside, outside, or just take out.

Is their Pad Thai made with fish sauce or soy sauce? Gluten free options?

I'm pretty sure it's fish sauce. Maybe you can request it with soy sauce. I never seen a gluten free option.

Friendly service, but food and logistics can use some improvements!…read more We went to Exotic Thai last night for an early Mother's Day celebration. Overall, everyone had a good time and a nice meal. Located in a strip mall next to the Regency theater in Agoura Hills, the restaurant is minutes off a 101 exit. Parking is ample in the strip mall parking lot. For the appetizer, we ordered the large Tom Yum Gong soup. The serving size was very generous, and it tasted delicious. For the entrees, we ordered pepper steaks, sweet and sour chicken, chicken with peanut sauce, and seafood platter. Not all the entrees arrived at the same time, and my seafood platter entree arrived about 15-20 minutes later than the rest. Therefore, I started my main course when others were mostly done with their meals. In addition, the sauce in my seafood platter was overpowering the delicate flavors of the seafood. I also did not like the use of imitation crab meat in the mix, which felt somewhat synthetic. As for the service, our waiters were friendly and attentive. Despite some logistics issues with the kitchen, we had a good time. That being said, I was surprised to read my prior review in 2016, noting the long wait time in the kitchen. I hope management can improve the logistics in the kitchen and ensure all entrees come out on time.

Definitely not for me…read more I love Thai food, and we wanted to try a new place. This seemed like it would be ok due to the reviews and such, but we already knew there would be a chance that it would be this way.. what way.. the way where it's made for the area, not for the true authenticity. The service was ok, not great, not attentive, not helpful, nothing, just a guy that does the minimum. The inside is nice and spacious, well-designed and roomy. The dead giveaway should have been that we were the only ones there at 5:30pm. We have them a try, and it's not worth it. The best thing is the papaya salad. Do not get the bbq pork pieces unless you want some boiled pork with some sauce on it. Do not, definitely do not get the Wontons! These are the most upsetting wontons I have ever ate! It is just a small piece of over-processed, now tough, piece of pork in them, the size of a marble. The shrimp is in the broth, not made together. Foolish! Not enough flavor on the pad see ew, and what more, no wok char! What?! Where's the wok?! Anyway, like I said, there are so much better out there. If you never had Thai food, this is the place for you, but then again, don't get the papaya salad, cause that's the only thing made right, and that's too much for an unfamiliar palate.
