0 stars for michaels plymouth. shopping in store is fine. online orders for pickup and returns.... AWFUL. they should consider stopping online ordering for this store. I have had multiple issues with online pick ups. after yesterdays experience I will not be returning to this location. have given them a lot of business and the sales associates are NOT helpful or kind read more

I just don't understand why there is one person cashing people out with about a mile of space behind them and we are now supposed to hold the basket, our children and somehow pull out our wallets to pay all while holding everything? It has become so unmanageable that I can't even shop there anymore. Like figure out a better system. It's just dumb and so unnecessary! read more

So the store is closed. I get that. We went online and ordered two small items. THREE HOURS LATER the order is ready. On the way there (3.5 hours later) we get an email one item wasn't In stock. Then you get there and call. You'd think we were picking up fresh gold. The confusion and chaos in this store is mind boggling. They'd have been better off if they just stayed closed. read more

The Michael's store located at 211 Colony Pl, Plymouth, MA , had a great variety of merchandise. I was able to find everything I came there to purchase. The check out situation is not the best. If you are paying with a credit , debit card, or a gift card. There are self checkout stations with short lines. If you are like me, and paying with a gift card balance, and cash. You have to wait a bit. Only one cashier was in charge of that check out counter. The wait was rather long, due to the line, and a customer who was being combative for no justified reason whatsoever. The cashier (employee) Bettina was very professional, kind, and dealt with the rude customer with the kind of patience I wish I had. I was very impressed by the way Bettina dealt with that situation. She was informative, knowledgeable, and was able to handle the situation in a very professional way. I noticed this and wanted to say something. I'm not one to write reviews , unless I notice something exceptional. Bettina's calm, kind, professional, attitude coming from someone working in a large chain store was a breath of fresh air. read more

I am writing this review so that others will not have happen to them that I did. I took a canvas painting to have gallery wrapped. When I picked it up it was a total,disaster. The stretcher bar used was too big, the canvas was not tight, about an inch of the canvas was stapled to the back and she put a cardboard backing on it. The corners were all marked. When I returned it ,Cheyenne informed me she worked for museums doing this kind of work and they all put backing on the canvas art. Wrong..they do not.... .I asked her to fix it. When I picked it up only the back had been removed , the edges untouched and the canvas not stretched. All this for $70.00. This canvas was purchased in Hawaii in a gallery. It had to be rolled to bring it home. Now it is of no use and I will not hang it. Please, do not use this Michael's for anything you value. read more

I'm from out of state, but I work at Michaels in Colorado. We stopped by on a trip recently, mostly because best buy was closed. 1) OH MY GOSH SO HUGE! I'm used to people saying the store I work at is big. And it was a little backwards 2) definitely one of the cleaner stores I've ever been in. 3) the associate that rang me up was so friendly. In westminster, I had one make huge ordeal about my associate card not being filled out. At this store, I explained that I had it bit didn't have it filled out, and she had no problem scanning the discount. 4) This store still had Soft and Shiny yarn. This store is pretty good. They're re doing a lot of it now so I'm sure it'll be nice when done. Luckily they usually have at least 2-3 cashiers unlike some other locations I've been to that has only one! Talk about waiting forever to buy 3 silk picks. The people who work here aren't the friendliest bunch but as long as you know what you're looking for it doesn't matter. Good location in colony place and big enough where you don't get in each others way while shopping. read more

I am quickly becoming disenchanted with Michaels and their sales coupons. If they give you a fifty percent off - just about everything in the store is "on sale" or already discounted so it is not eligible. Now they even have time restrictions! Only good from six to nine PM. I went there with five coupons and only saved $2.99!!! I love the selection but don't like the games they play with pricing. Very frustrating! read more

Overall, there are a few employees that have worked there for quite a while and are very helpful. The others, not so much. They are getting better in that department though-slowly. It doesn't take much for those check-out lines to get super long too. You need to check that they actual ring you up correctly on clearance items too. read more

A friend and I recently visited this Micheals location and had what might have been the worst experience I have ever had in a store. We called and asked if this location allowed dogs (not service dogs) inside. The girl on the phone said yes. Five minutes later we walk in with one of our (very well behaved) dogs with us. We hadn't even been in the store for more then two minutes and where browsing the Christmas ornaments located pretty close to the front when a worker from a good 40ft away looks at us and yells "IS THAT A SERVICE DOG?" We both looked at him like deer in headlights because first off we had just called and ask if dogs could come in and had been told yes and secondly who yells that!!! So as we are both standing there kinda in shock he yells again "IS THAT A SERVICE DOG?" fastly walking towards us. We respond no and he tells us "only service dogs are around inside" we both just put down what we had and walked out embarrassed trying not to cause any more of a scene then he already had. I have worked in customer service before and I understand the holiday season in retail could put anyone in a bad mood and would normally shake off any rudeness I experienced during this time of year but this was an apauling experience. I understand only service dogs are allowed in that location (even though we had been told different on the phone) and that is not my issue at all. My issue is what if my friend or I did have a disability and had a service dog with us? Is that how we would be treated by micheals staff? By being questioned about a service animal from over 40ft away, causing everyone in that area of the store to stop and stare at us. The way this was handled was incredibly inappropriate and I feel bad for anyone that walks in there with a service dog (not vested, which legally you do not need your service animal to wear a vest) and might run into this man. read more

Amazing craft store! You can get almost anything crafts here. From paint to canvases, they have it! The staff are very helpful. But sometimes, mistakes happen. But that's okay! Come here for all the crafts you need! read more
