Great cigars, great selection, normally really great staff. Today I went to pick up cigars and the store was busier than normal. Group hanging out in the front lounge smoking, several customers in the cigar area. There is a husband and wife couple looking at the cigars and the wife had smelled the tobacco leaves on two cigars that I could see. Showed her husband one and honestly was a really nice moment to see them both so excited about the cigars. Then an employee opens the door and says "Please never smell the cigar like that. I cannot sell cigars that have been smelled like that. Then proceeds to put it back in the case. He was rude, spoke down to the woman the entire time and the woman kindly diffused the situation by saying "Okay and thank you" she then told her husband she was going to leave and wait in the car. I then made my selection and walked into the lounge area to check out. The husband was in front of me and the employee was just sitting in the lounge with the other customers complaining about the woman (husband right there checking out with the other cashier... the other cashier has ALWAYS been kind, considerate, knowledgeable and hospitable and was this time as well. We all just tried to ignore the other employee's comments but it was honestly not possible. He complained about customers, how he had gotten other reviews from customers saying he was rude but that there was no way it was his fault. Just hurt to hear. Sure you can run a business and be rude and complain to customers about customers and we can choose to shop there or not. It's just sad that this is the only rude employee I have ever come across here so everyone else wins our business and this guy just creates a sour experience for everyone else. I hope he is able to be kind, humble, hospitable and kind in how he engages moving forward. Three stars because everyone else is amazing... without them this would have been a one star read more

I'm in town from South Carolina and found this place - excellent inventory - great cigar walk-in humidor - great retail area and guess what..? A FULL BAR!! If you are in the Dallas area this is totally one of the BEST cigar spots I've even been to! I've been a cigar aficionado for two decades and probably been a member of or customer to more than 2 dozen places like this all over the country. Today Kevin the staff person made us out of towhees feel like regulars and he did an A+ job helping us find the cigars we wanted, giving recommendations AND running the bar! read more

The fact that T&C is right on my way home from work could be a bit dangerous. T&C is unique, in that it is a fully stocked cigar shop offering an incredible selection of smokes in their walk-in humidor as well as all the requisite accessories. But this is not your ordinary cigar shop. On my first visit I was a bit surprised to walk in the front door and see two gentlemen enjoying cigars and scotch. When I inquired, the owner led me to the back of the shop - large-screen TV, full bar, and about 20 people enjoying their smoke and beverage of choice. Yowza! Now a veteran, I ventured in just before Christmas to choose some smokes for my brother in law. I enjoyed a Monte Cristo and two glasses of cabernet as I caught up on the news and relaxed just a bit. A Partagas four-cigar sampler was chosen for Jay and I headed on home. Only word of warning - this is a cigar shop in which people actually smoke. Your clothes will give you away if you linger awhile - but it is well worth it. read more

I've never had, much less bought a cigar before. Several of my coworkers convinced me to try it thigh. While in town on business, I stopped by and the staff was extremely helpful in picking out a couple of "beginner" cigars that were great! He even cut them both, so I didn't have to spend extra money on something I wasn't able to travel on the airlines with. Great experience, and I'll definitely go back when I'm in town! read more

The BF got a good bday present from here this year!!! I love how nice the guys were. I was like a deer in headlights. Literally. I don't smoke cigars unless boys give them to me. So to be in a cigar shop was totally something different. But the 2 guys that were working that day, and I am sure they are always there....were so helpful and nice. First time here and I was impressed! Our buddy was playing that night so we went to support. Service was kick a**, nice cigar collection (per my brother and boyfriend) and good music. Only reason I didn't give it 5 was because I'm not sure if it's a place I'll visit a ton unless someone I know is playing but definitely a cool concept. A local store that carries Casa Cuba by Arturo Fuentes, which is awesome. Just a warning to those who are not used to cigar lounges - your clothes, hair, and everything else you brought into the store will smell like cigar smoke, and although it is not as bad as other in-door cigar lounges I've been to, Michael's is no exception despite high ceilings and heavy-duty air purifier. read more

Very nice & helpful staff and good location for me to get gifts for my father in law and dad who like cigars ... I know next to nothing so at christmas time when I went in with the "well he gets what he can get the most of for the cheepest amout so I want to get him something nice within this price amount" they gave me a good 3 or 4 options with my knowing next to nothing. The only issue is I'm asthmatic and have other lung issues on top of that. I can be around a couple friends or family sitting outside and smoking no issue ... plus I apreciate the smell of the cigar but not the smoke. So when I walked in I almost imedatly relized I needed to hold my breath as much as I could because I didn't relize there would be folks smoking in the shop. I was coughing by the end of the trip & had to use my rescue ... so next time I may have to send the hubby on this errand. We will continue coming here ... I just don't know if I can be the one going in! read more

My buddy had a gathering here with about 10 people. I had never been here and as I drove by it looked very small. After walking in, I realized there was a good size sports lounge in the back. They have a full bar, and a very large selection of whisky's. I was impressed. Each table has its own ash tray and lighter/cutter. The cigar selection seemed impressive, but I don't frequent cigar bars.. so what do I know. The cigar guy really knew what he was talking about. He gave some great recommendations based on my preferences. Over all I had a great time. The prices were good. T&C may not have the biggest cigar selection in town, but what they do have is great. They offer quality smokes for just about any smoker's budget. The staff is great at providing advice on cigar selection without being annoying. The bar area doesn't require membership and offers decent drink prices. read more

Outstanding service. The walk in humidor was well stocked with a wide variety of cigars at every price point, with help from knowledgeable staff. There is a small front seating area and a good sized back room with about ten high and low top tables and a full service bar. I was impressed with the Texas spirits, including two ryes. Good beer on tap or in bottles or cans served by efficient friendly bartenders. A band was playing the evening I visited. I visit a lot of tobacconists as I travel around the country as an airline pilot. It's not that often that I walk into a local establishment and get treated as a regular. I was properly greeted and made a selection in the well-stocked humidor. I opened a tab and enjoyed my purchase, along with a cold draft beer, in the back lounge as I knocked out some studying. I was checked on adequately and even called to by name. I go a lot of places where I'm treated as a stranger, so I appreciated the personal touch I received at Michael's, and will certainly return any time I am in the area and have some time to kill. read more

Best place I've been to for cigars in DFW, knowledgeable staff and they are kind above all else, I've never seen live music at this location but they have locker humidors and a full service bar in the back. Never had a bad experience here. Good for a quieter crowd. read more
