Had a great time at a group outing. I was in town for a conference and after the first day we went to a group social event. Took a bus to get there so I don't know how the parking situation would be. Didn't look like many spaces were available if you drive. Inside was pretty spacious with a full service bar and a cigar shop. There was also additional seating outside. I am no cigar aficionado but I still had a good time there. In the cigar shop portion the associates were very helpful in recommending a cigar for me to try. I don't believe they serve food because the group I came with brought in outside food. Prices for drinks were about average for any bar. I only ordered a beer. We had several tables reserved so we didn't have issues finding seating but it got extremely crowded so if you come during peak hours it may be standing room only. After a while service was slower once it got crowded as well so make sure you are patient. Be prepared to smell like smoke when you leave because you are allowed to smoke inside and outside.

Wanted to stop by and see my friend before heading in for the evening. Of course I'm not a Cigar Connoisseur and I don't truly care for the second hand smoke however I haven't hung out for a while after dark. So here I am lol. Plus I did grab a bite from Executive Chef (Owner) Jerry Tipper. It was filling, the chicken wasn't tough, and it had no fatty meat which was good. This is a grown up spot. The DJ showed up and now it's jumping.

They recently remodeled and basically removed the "lounge" atmosphere. They moved all of the comfortable leather lounge chairs to the wall, which places them under the televisions. This makes relaxing with a cigar and watching a ball game an uncomfortable experience. The new setup is clearly focused on the bar's alcohol sales and not cigars. I'll have to find somewhere else to enjoy my stogies. It was nice while it lasted.

1st visit and I like this location. Plenty of seating and TV with game on, restrooms were clean ladies. The service was really good and drinks poured well for price point. The cigar assortment if large and the have accessories which was a good option for Christmas present.

Great chill spot, I had a blast music was popping, great atmosphere! Friendly people great vibes. Coming from the WEST COAST California I will definitely recommend people to come here

They offer a wide variety of cigars, with great pricing for everyone. Get here early if you are travelling as a group. We got here late and it was so packed, people were just standing everywhere. Lovely spot to relax and catch up, while enjoying your favorite cigar. The age group was a mixture of younger and older folks, swing by the next time you're in the neighborhood.

Is there a dress code for the lounge?

I would say that it has a casual vibe. There were nice T-shirts and khakis on one end of the spectrum and full on suits on the other end. We erred on the side of dressing up a bit because it's a nice cigar bar. The crowd was so large some slipped… Read more

The venue is designed to resemble a Prohibition-era speakeasy, with an entrance accessible through a rotary phone inside a red telephone booth (which actually works!). Our tour was led by Jamie, who shared his extensive knowledge as he guided us through the Prohibition Era alongside our concierge, Landon. The speakeasy features stunning floors made of 120-year-old Italian wood, beautifully decorated with art, books, and a selection of premium entertainment and spirits. Patrons can request "prescriptions," which are 2oz alcoholic shots inspired by the owner's grandfather, who was a pharmacist. Cocktails and friendly service was provided by Emma and Kyle, their services were a nod to Bob Ruede, RPB's renowned Intoxicologist, along with other award-winning bartenders recognized for their excellence in service and hospitality. Eric, the Cigar Attendant, is knowledgeable about how to properly enjoy an exceptional cigar experience. The Mafia Room is an exclusive space perfect for guys' and girls' nights, intimate events, corporate gatherings, and celebrations. While Red Phone Booth offers exclusive membership tiers with premium perks, you don't need to be a member to enjoy the Prohibition experience. Walk in via J Theodore, the ohone booth is to the left. It's a cool novelty calling with a book name to enter via the book shelf. Once inside the speak easy area there were two seating options. The Library which is set away from the open lounge area and quieter or the lounge area with the bar. They would not let us pick our spot despite seating being available. We opted for the lounge area as the seat offered to us there was better to our preference. The tables are packed quiet tightly which i dont like personally but i get it. That tidbit aside it is definitely a cool environment. Service was really nice and the food we ordered was great. I presume it's the same menu as J Theodore so I'm going to have to try that now for a more restaurant style meal. This is a cool place to hang out and bring friends imo. Since we don't really drink we'll probably end up at the restaurant next time as it's not easy to eat on tiny tables. It's a bar/lounge after all.

I lucked out and found this place; came there on a Monday night and it wasn't busy at all. Their smoking area was small, but laid out extremely well with leather chairs and a large TV screen. The humidor was also rather small, and several of the cigars were pricier than I've seen. Where this place takes the cake is the ambiance, service and whiskey selection. My hostess, Mary, was extremely attentive and provided good recommendations on the food and beverages. And regarding the whiskey - their selection was massive. Mary recommended a Texas bourban (Unbendt BiB) that was delicious. It was so good that I brought a bottle back to Chicago. Highly recommend this place for a cigar smoker looking for a good meal + cigar in a quiet/intimate environment.
