Really couldn't have better staff there everyone is helpful knowledgeable and friendly. Lucas is a really smart and quick guy knows what I'm after just about every time I come in. Only thing I can say bad about the plane is it's too easy to spend money haha. They give the term lhs a good name and I'm happy to come in browse their wares and spend money on cool things I don't need or the things I do :)

Long Version: I had been looking at getting into RC cars for awhile and had settled on a brand and model on my own after extensive research. Traxxas Bandit for $189 seemed perfect for me. It was reasonably priced with good standard performance and features. I was looking online but everywhere I saw one, it said "could take up to 10 business days for delivery" and I really wanted it sooner so I started looking around in town. A different store had one and they were nice enough but I didn't know the $189 didn't come with battery/charger and wasn't quite ready to spend the cash. When I WAS ready, I decided to call a Hobby Town instead because the other store was a little dirty and while the employee answered my questions, they weren't very personable and when I thanked them for their time but said I wasn't aware of the full cost and I'd have to postpone my purchase, they just kind of stared off and didn't say anything. Like they were annoyed I didn't spend any money after I took up only approximately 5 minutes of their time. Not the worst customer service but still far from the best. Norm at Hobby Town however was wonderful from the beginning. I perused their site to make sure they had what I wanted and called to confirm. Norm answered with an enthusiastic and upbeat attitude, answered all my questions, reserved the unit behind the counter for me and said "see you later" in a way that seemed he was actually excited to see and help me when I got there. When entering the store it was the same way, happy greeting and warm smile. I explained who I was and again he seemed excited. This made me feel very good about my choice to purchase here instead. Again he answered all my questions, made recommendations when asked for them and was even nice and acknowledged my children when they asked or told him something. We left the store smiling and excited to get my Bandit home and couldn't have been more pleased with our experience. Thanks again Notm, I'm sure I'll be speaking to you again soon!

My family decided to drive down to Leavenworth for a fun afternoon (bet Michael Vick has never said…read morethat), and this was our first stop. What a neat store! It has three floors--the second level, which is the main level, has a large collection of Banbao toys, which are like Legos but cheaper. They also had many other cool things like models, marbles, and marshmallow guns (and plenty of other things that don't start with the letter M). The top floor had more toys, such as a wall of Playmobile, some German toys, and some more neat models, including models of Leonardi da Vinci's inventions that you can put together and actually make work. There are also some toddler and preschool level toys, like pretend food and Melissa & Doug puzzles and toys that teach skills like tying shoes. The bottom level is a model train lovers dream. We love looking at model trains but absolutely aren't into making them, but it was really cool to look around and see what a model train enthusiastic world is like. Customer service is great. I think we spoke with the owners, or at least some of the main employees, and they were super nice, showing our shy children some of the toys and letting my kids try them out. It was clear that they really love toys and their customers. We left without buying anything, but we're hoping to come back soon and give them our business!

This review pertains to the MTG and other gaming aspects of the store. I had been a Loyal customer…read moreof Curt's for 4 years until very recently. It took a lot to drive me away from this place so I'd like to share my experience. 6 months ago I started looking into the idea of being a certified judge. Along the way I learned about tournament structures and how other venues operate. Despite the various wrong doings of the store owner I figured it didn't affect me as long as I played things smart and didn't get involved in deals unless I knew what I was doing . this went on until I noticed that tournament prize support was dwindling while at the same time prices were increasing. Finally I contacted Wizards of the Coast to see if Curt was being fair. That's when I learned a bombshell bit of information. On any and all pre-release events there is supposed to be double prize support. Which means 2 packs per person. This jerk has only been doing 1, sometimes 1.5. in other word's he had been ripping off his customers for the greater part of 4 years. This is unacceptable and I encourage people to become knowledgeable to either put a stop to it or simply put him out of business. Either way is fine by me. For years this guy has been pissing on my leg and telling me it was raining. Before you trade with the guy, know your cards and their value. Before you buy from the guy be knowledgeable as well. If you give this business an opportunity to screw you it will. OH QUICK MATH RUNDOWN. WITH 4 PRE-RELEASES A YEAR AVERAGING 50 PEOPLE MEANS THIS GUY HAS SCREWED HIS CUSTOMERS OUT OF 400-800 BOOSTER PACKS OR A DOLLAR VALUE OF 1600-3200 DOLLARS. AND THAT'S JUST FOR 16 EVENTS OUT OF THE HUNDREDS HE'S HAD OVER THE YEARS
