Our first visit was simply to scope out the reborn baby adoption experience after seeing it on Facebook. We were not greeted when we entered, and during the entire visit the owner said not one word to us. Our 7 year old saved for months, including birthday money, to purchase a reborn baby. We later ordered the one she chose and booked the adoption experience for her birthday. When we arrived, she fell in love with another baby in the store that cost hundreds more. Since we had not taken possession of the original baby, and it was still untouched on the wall, we politely asked if we could switch and pay the difference. We were told no, very bluntly and without empathy, because "sales are final." We did not argue and ended up buying the second baby anyway, meaning we purchased two babies. During checkout, we asked for split payment between cash and card, and the full amount was run on card by mistake. We did not complain and let it go. We were also told that the baby's mouth had not been cut and we would need to make a separate 40 minute drive back from Claremore because only someone else knew how to do it. Then came the worst part. Today my wife coordinated through Facebook Messenger a time to come in for the mouth to be cut. We arrived at the agreed time, and while the owner was responding on the computer, she accidentally sent my wife a message clearly meant for someone else that said: "I dislike this lady so much." My wife calmly brought it to her attention. The explanation made no sense, and it was obvious what happened. My wife chose not to escalate it because our child was there and we are not confrontational people. Then the "procedure" we had driven back for turned out to be someone taking an X Acto knife and simply cutting a slit in the silicone mouth. No warning was given beforehand about the risk of the silicone continuing to split. When my wife asked what prevents that from happening, we were told "that's a risk you run" and that we could buy silicone glue to help prevent it. After spending over $600, I would expect: * Better customer service * Basic kindness and professionalism * Transparency about risks before altering an expensive doll * Some preventative care instead of "buy something else to fix it" Also, if the process was just a quick slit with a blade, why was it made to seem so specialized that we had to make another long trip? What bothered us most was not a mistake here or there. It was the repeated rudeness, lack of empathy, and then finding out the owner was privately insulting my wife, who has been nothing but kind through every interaction. We supported this business in good faith and were met with poor service and disrespect. We will not return and would not recommend this store to others.

They also usually have plenty of seasonal items, whether it's decor, stuff for yard work, xmas toys, etc. tons of household items-small kitchen appliances, hygiene items (I go here for hygiene item drives that happen from time to time), rings, home improvement items and tools...it's really just a catch-all for random stuff. I buy pet food here often. It's just an easy place to get stuff at a really great price. I love deals and discounts, so I frequent here a few times each month.

But with great craft talent comes great crowds seeking Christmas presents or home decor items; this place was PACKED. I almost lost my mind in the shuffle and press of people looking at the booths. The organizers should consider spreading out the exhibits a little more to make the experience less claustrophobic.

Crafting used to be for old people - not anymore!…read more Indie Emporium is a cute craft show with 60 local vendors. You can find anything from dishes to jewelry. It was my first year going and I was impressed with everything I saw. Admission is $5, which lets you in the whole weekend (Thanks Yelp for the free tickets!!). The first 50 people on Friday got a swag bag that was supposedly filled with amazing things. I wouldn't know since I didn't get one - not that I'm bitter or anything (F.Y.I. Getting there RIGHT when it opens = too late for the freebies. The lobby was PACKED before the doors were even open). Saturday afternoon, they have free crafting sessions (specific crafts to be made/schedule is on their website). Saturday night, they have a fashion show. The only thing I really, really hated was how packed it was. A show like this REALLY needs a bigger space. Often, I couldn't even look at a vendor's booth because there were SO many people/booths were TINY. Luckily, crowds started to thin out an hour into the event. Another downside is parking downtown....hopefully you're lucky enough to find a street spot. If not, you can take a chance like me and park in a random parking lot...and hope your car doesn't get towed.

Spencer on July 10, 2026, around 5:30 PM after a coworker told me they had wax warmers for only $3, and how good they smelled. Since I work just a couple of doors down, I walked over excited to check them out. Unfortunately, my experience was disappointing from the moment I entered. Two white women and a child walked in just behind me. I was never greeted, acknowledged, or asked if I needed help. However, I could clearly hear the employees warmly greeting and interacting with the customers behind me and others who entered the store. After walking around the store twice trying to find the wax warmers, I finally had to call my coworker--the person who had recommended the store--to ask where they were located. She had to direct me to the exact spot over the phone, despite not even working there. When I found the wax warmers, I thanked her for helping me because no one in the store had offered any assistance. As a Black woman, the difference in how I was treated compared to the other customers left me feeling invisible and unwelcome. Whether intentional or not, customer service should be consistent for everyone. A simple greeting or "Can I help you find something?" would have completely changed my experience. as I got to the counter to make my purchase and the cashier asked me if I wanted to give my phone number then I communicated my disappointment in Customer Service as I was treated in the store today. To add to the irony, I ended up wasting my $3 because the wax warmers weren't even worth it. The ones from Walmart smell much better. I hope management takes this feedback seriously because every customer deserves to feel acknowledged and valued when they walk through the door. Please feel free to review your store footage as you can see that this is not a fake review. Treat all customers with dignity and respect no matter race, sex or gender.

This is our go to stop for cards, last minute gifts & our annual new Christmas ornament but prices can be crazy. Some things today, even at 50% off were outrageously priced but it was still fun to look at everything. They do have a rewards program but I don't shop there frequently enough to know the benefits of it. Overall, I'm glad to have this place in town! I would shop here more if the prices weren't so high.
