There is now a Vacuum Cleaner Hospital on Jewella, but the experience there is very different. I took a Dyson hand held that would not charge there. The wanted $25 up front, later called to say it just needed a new battery, but they "did not do that". I did not go pick it up soon enough for them, and I received a call giving me a deadline, and if I did not get it by then they would 'throw it away". When I actually went to get it I expressed my displeasure at paying $25 and how it was ridiculous that they couldn't go ahead and put in a new battery. The lady said they "could", but I would have to obtain a battery and bring it to them, saying that is their policy! I expressed my opinion that it is a sorry policy, and that I would not be back. As I walked out she said "Well, you don't have to come back". An unpleasant experience all around. I hope I can find another service provider.
