    Asada tacos
    Hector C.

Recently visited this place after a morning hike with the fam and our hiking friends "HWJ" from the highlands. It's a hidden gem a bit small for smaller parties but we were able to put some tables together. Food was great me and the wifey had menudo I was surprised they had some here. It was actually very good I ordered mine with pata. "Feet". Tacos were good. Service was a little slow but I understand it was a group of 10 of us. Kids ordered birria tacos they looked good. First time here and definitely will be coming back.

Great little breakfast spot in Little Rock to stop at if you're passing through. This place has both Mexican and American cuisines as well as a deive through. When you enter to dine in, you order at the front or at your table. I got the waffle combo and my husband got a breakfast burrito. The waffle was crisp and the bacon was perfect.... not oily and limp like most places. The breakfast burrito was hefty and has chorizo , egg, potato, pico de gallo , and cheese. The only criticism about the burrito was that the chorizo was more towards the bottom but was overall still very good! If you're coming up from the San Fernando Valley to Vegas, I recommend carving out some time to eat here.

on September 1,2023. I am warning public to make sure you ask for the price Because the prices on broad outside are not the same inside. If you order you need to ask because they will not tell you the original price. They will ring the bill up without telling you. As the customer you will not notice you been overcharged or tell you the prices on board outside are different from the board inside the restaurant . When they are busy inside and you are curbside at window waiting for more then 35 minutes they will not apologize to you for the long wait. iEmployees will not cancel the order If you had a valid reason like waiting for your order and they are taking too long. They will charge you the original price that is inside the restaurant. without telling you that the prices outside is different . They will not reburse Your money. They are too prideful and Will not even apologize. They will not admit the mistake. They rather take advantage of your hard working money.

    Birria en Caldo

First time trying out this place. It's new and miss the old restaurant that was there before COVID. Which can find the owners or cooks to eat at there new restaurant. But tried there Carne Asada Nacho as what sold me when I viewed there Yelp page. Has to say I had Carne Asada Nachos in many places and this it up there in top 10. Very satisfying and fulfilling.

    Birria tacos

Overall this place was good. 4/5 rating because the chilaquiles were a bit hard. The service was great, the waitress was very nice and attentive. The restaurant was very clean and the food was ready in a short amount of time. I will definitely be coming back for the French toast!!!

We have been coming to Rodeo Cafe almost weekly since it opened in Pinon Hills…read more We come on either Saturday or Sunday (usually Sunday) nearly every week. We always sit on the bar side where Carlos is our server. My husband and I enjoy being served by Carlos. He's very personable and we have great conversation with him. He takes EXCELLENT care of us every single time. However, ALL of the servers at Rodeo Cafe are excellent and very attentive. You can't go wrong with anywhere you sit. You will be taken care of. Now for the food.... The food is great and the prices are exceptional. You get alot of food for your money. I usually always order the same thing. The veggie omelet with no broccoli and a side FRIED pancake. Yes, a fried pancake!! You HAVE to try it. It's AMAZING! Sandy (one of the servers) introduced me to the fried pancake and I've been hooked ever since. And of course, I always order a mimosa with my breakfast too. Yes folks!!! They have a FULL bar!! I love this! And they make pretty darn good drinks. I've also tried their burgers and they're pretty good too. The Mexican dishes are also really good. Honestly, I don't feel like you could go wrong with anything off the menu. All in all, Rodeo Cafe offers a great dining experience with fantastic service and pricing. I hope y'all enjoy it as much as I do. And sit in Carlos' section. He's a sweetheart and he'll take great care of you.

We decided to eat outside on our truck bed but due to the smell of the trash can or the dumping of waste food that the crow were eating next to the trash bin we decide to go. As the menudo got colder it was super greasy and stinky. We also got some birria tacos with tortilla and when they arrived it burly had any meat it was so disappointing for paying so high dollars on a taco with no meat! The plate of soup of birria the taste was dull not that much meat either for the price. While we stay for a while a dam 18 wheeler truck drove in spreading a bunch of dust that got all over our soup not their fault but they should be sign for this dam driver to slow down so customer can eat outside since is a very small place and the tables were occupied we didn't have a choice but to eat outside. We won't eat here again due to the cost and environment. We saw other customer drinking beer outside and tossing the bottles on the floor. Having a big green trash can there for them to walk and properly disposing it. Over all price are to high for a authentic Mexican food. We expend over $96 dls for 2 adult and a child. We will keep looking for a better place. Read more

The stone facade of this nearly 100-year old tavern implies major staying power, and the dark wood, very old-style interior design backs that up in spades. This place has seen many days and nights, and the staff seems to have seen every customer many times before. My server, Terry, immediately pegged me as a newbie, greeting me with a big hello and making suggestions about the food. They've got most of the usual roadside tavern options on the menu (burgers and club sandwiches, eggs and omelets, etc.), but the top draw here is the Tri-Tip and Pork Shoulder, both of which are smoked on site, and served as BBQ plates or 2 sizes of sandwiches. I ordered the small Tri-Tip Sandwich, paired with fries (though they have several other side options you can upgrade to). The meat is thinly shaved, moist and tender despite not being pink. It's glazed with teriyaki sauce and resembles the kind of roast beef sandwich you'd get in Buffalo, NY (beef on weck) or at a place like Brennan & Carr in Brooklyn. They also put mayo on the bun, and I could have lived without that (it's not necessary, as the meat is very flavorful, and the smoky accents do stand out nicely). Fries were standard issue, but very properly cooked and salted, arriving hot and crispy. They were great when dipped into the house-made BBQ sauce or the house-made Ranch, both of which came on the side. Over all, the sandwich and fries were a very generous portion, and the larger size (served to someone else nearby) was quite hefty for just $3 more. Now, I didn't see any desserts on display, but I had a feeling this was the kind of place where there might be some homemade sweetness, and I was right -- they had 4 house-baked pies available: Apple, Peach, Cherry, and a mixed berry pie called Fruits Of The Forest, which is what I chose. I could detect cherries, blackberries and rhubarb, but there may have been others in this sweet & sour filling that worked perfectly with the scratch-made crust that was buttery and savory and pretty much a perfect bite from the past. There's also a full bar with a nice selection of liquors and beers. If I didn't have to drive off the mountain and home on I-5, I would have happily spent the afternoon knocking back a few and chatting with the locals, who I'm sure gather here most days after work. This is a fun, fun place, and if you're traveling up the 5, it's worth a detour up the hill to grab some tri-tip and support good people serving the kind of good, scratch cooking you rarely find in a fast food world.
