So I didn't realize this was kind of a market and a restaurant, and I've been driving past this place for 13 years and finally decided to stop because I was getting hungry I'm not sure what people expect when they stop here, but this is something in the middle of nothing, which is something Sure, something you're gonna be way pricier but I feel like that's to be expected I ended up getting a smothered beef tamale, and a Asada burrito. I think my total was around $16. The tamale was amazing, smack your mama and run and really it was filling. That's all I actually needed. But the burrito was great, I could only take a couple bites and it's definitely not something I could eat in the car, but I'm so glad I stopped in. The service was fine. Stopped here on the way back from Phoenix - was hoping to find some decent meats to throw on the smoker and they had plenty. Picked up some chicken thighs and filet mignon. The prices were decent - less than the big stores. Didn't stay long as the husband and dogs waited in the truck, but the place was clean and the produce looked nice. Lots of local items too. Will definitely go back, try some of their Mexican food, and do some more shopping. Love to support the local businesses! read more

The farmers market is a great neighborhood store. They have the basics and beer and wine. The produce section is expanding, which is great.

I live in the area and like to support local small businesses when I can. This place is unusual in that it has a restaurant as well as a grocery store. They sell beer, wine, local produce, other produce, canned goods, frozen foods, pet foods, bakery items, snacks, they have a hand scoop ice cream station, and they have an elaborate meat department. I like the Mexican style food they serve, sit down or to go. The service is generally welcoming, with a nice small-town feel. Service is fast, food consistent and their hot sauce is GREAT! The only reason I don't give 5 stars is that they have problem inside sometimes and outside with the sewage plumbing. The public restroom at the restaurant is often closed and there is a bad sewage smell in the back parking lot sometimes. Sometimes the in the back refrigerators and the food in them smells like rancid blood from the butcher department. I have had to return dairy items that seem especially prone to absorbing that bad smell, like butter and milk. The staff is very quick to give a refund, but the inconvenience is no fun. Another problem is their freezers or maybe deliveries for prepackaged ice cream. The last few times I've brought a 1/2-gallon home, it was obvious the ice cream had thawed, melted and was refrozen. That's just not the fun creamy treat that ice cream should be. Prices have gone up everywhere, so there's no surprise their menu prices have too. Their portions are generous, and the seating area is clean and casual with tables, some booths and even counter seating. I just got Nachos to go the other day and was happy. Great mix of chips, cheese, sour cream Guacamole, beans, onion, tomatoes... 2 meals for $10. I think McDonald's sandwiches are over $10 now. read more

Been wanting to try this place as there aren't many options around. I come from LA where there's Mexican food EVERYWHERE, and there are plenty of bomb places on every corner. Not so much here, in Pearblossom. It wasn't packed, but more customers than I expected, plus I heard a bunch of phone orders coming in, which is a good sign. I got my usual from any restaurant; chicken taco dorado/cheese enchilada combo. Beans were bomb, rice was good, but even better when I added the "hot salsa" they had. It was like habanero, pretty spicy. Hubby had chile verde, not great but definitely edible. And a HUGE bowl of albondigas. I wasn't a fan of the albondigas cuz the base was different, but it was edible as well. Gave 4 stars cuz the service was excellent, food was served fresh and hot. My wife and I moved to west palmdale for 9 months. We are continuing to explore the AV (we moved from Los Angeles). We went to Charlie Browns Farm, seem like a big attraction in the highway. Then my wife wanted to go to a grocery store, I pulled out my phone and typed grocery store and saw Farmers Market. My wife was like "it looks sketchy" from the outside but told her let's give it a try. We parked out back, and walked in, it looked clean in the inside. We needed tostadas. But we walked around and explore the fruits and vegetables sections, look fresh. Also, checked out the local honeys; enjoyed the comical sodas. Then explore the meat sections. I do want to go back and try their meats, and try their restaurant next door. It is a cute grocery store. read more

I'd probably give Farmer's Mart a three point five if I could. It's a small place, but it does exist in a place that has some pretty good things. There's a small but solid butcher shop that has Harris beef if you eat meat. There is also some nice veggies if you don't. Nothing too fancy but a nice close spot if you don't want to travel too far like the bigger spots (like Walmart, etc., 15 miles out). Try the Farmer's Mart if you need a quick stop! read more

Years ago we used to come here all the time for the store and restaurant. The prices of the items in the store have gone way up and the quality way down. Found lots of expired items so we didn't buy anything from the market side. We did buy food but for over 70 dollars worth of what we got it wasn't worth it. Food is not what it used to be. The are cutting back on the portions while the prices are going up and they are also skimping on the ingredients. We used to always have chips and salsa with our meals now they want to charge for it when it was free. No big deal now but they give you hardly any salsa and it's watered down. The plates we used to get had onions and mushrooms sautéed into it. Now there's none and the veggies are boiled separate from the rest of food and have no flavor then mixed in to make it seem like they were cooked together. You can definitely tell the difference of it being thrown on afterwards. read more

Their prices are excellent here. I enjoy almost all the food items. It doesn't seem like the tamales are popular with a lot of people so they tend to not be the best. Don't get me wrong they're still good but the ones that I can buy off the street are better. The Guacamole is outstanding...super fresh and filled with lots of vegetables. They don't skimp on the avocado. The Enchiladas and the Chile Relleno are so fresh and delicious. I tend to be pretty fussy about my Chile Rellenos and usually don't like them where ever I go but theirs was excellent. Tacos - another winner ! I absolutely love the beans and rice !!! Great Beer Selection Best Meat Department in the AV. Try the carne and pollo asadas, they are amazing. Great selection of hand made brats and hot dogs. They will get you cuts if you ask in advance and they have dope family bulk packs. They provide a discount if you buy in bulk. I don't use anyone but Farmers Mart for my authentic slow smoked BBQs. They also have a solid selection of pickled products and jerkins and other exotic food items. Love this place, support your local Littlerock store. More expensive but worth it to me. read more

There are not a lot of great food choices in Littlerock (my opinion) except for a few Mexican Restaurants. I usually eat at Barrios which is really great but I decided to change it up a little and order from Farmers Mart today. Wish I hadn't. Overall, besides the chips and guacamole, it was hugely dissatisfying. I only ate two bites of the Chipotle Shrimp because it was overcooked (super tough) shrimp drowning in Mexican Red Sauce. The beans and rice were even terrible and tasteless. The shrimp cocktail was a little better but was in a large soup container. It came with a bunch of saltines so at first I thought they sent me soup! I've never seen it presented that way. I ate a few pieces of this but the shrimp did not taste very fresh. The guacamole was pretty good once I added some lime and a bunch of salt. The rest got thrown out. Pretty big waste of cash for a fifty dollar meal!! I highly recommend skipping this place and heading over to Barrios instead. read more

I love this place! It has quite an interesting variety of delectables & a great selection of Mexican ingredients. They have local farm raised meats & tons of vegetables & nuts. Conjoined to this place is a deli that has $5 foot long sandwiches & a Mexican restaurant that has a good selection of seafood! The Mexican restaurant is delicious. Their Mixed Tostada came with shrimp (they weren't deveined, but still delicious) & fake crab meat with avocados, all for $3.95! It was really good too. Their chips & salsa are really good as well. Their grilled fish is amazing. It's so tasty! Ask to substitute the white rice & vegetables with refried beans & spanish rice. You definitely won't regret it. Customer service is great here too. Unfortunately, this afternoon we were charged for "refills" of the drink we had ordered. Although when you look at the MENU or your WALLS there is no reference to being charged for refills! Not only did this particular WAITRESS not address the issue, she hid behind the fact that she only works there....she did not tell us of the charges until we received the bill! Only place on the East Side of the AV I could find that sold brisket. Got a really nice cut. Smoked it yesterday and going to enjoy it for days to come. Really homey place with friendly staff. The deli guys really know their meats. Only place other than Rite Aid I've seen that sells Thrifty's Ice cream too. You can get cones and half gallons! Craft beer selection is good and the attached Mexican restaurant is pretty good. If you live in Littlerock, you have very few reasons to go shopping anywhere else. read more

I have been going to the store many times and always have lunch at the restaurant for their tacos which are terrific, today, I experienced a different situation. after ordering the usual, tacos of course, I was asked to sit at a table. normally the chips and drink are delivered right away but today it took at least 10 minutes to get the chips because the waitress was busy talking to a friend and not paying attention to me, and as for the drink, that came when I was almost finished with my meal, again because she was talking to her friend. when I wanted to pay, I almost had to throw the money at her, she just was not paying attention, and did you know that it costs $2.95 for a small ice tee. this latest experience has given me cause to not return, what a shame!!! read more

Restaurant review. I wish I could give them 0 stars because it's 2018 and THEY ARE STILL USING STYROFOAM!! Not acceptable! You are destroying the earth with this single use not recyclable non biodegradable crap. Also the food sucks!!! I've been here several times and tried different things. There is no flavor. Just bland mush drowned in sauce. The table salsa tastes like watered down marinara sauce. The taquitos were so bad. Bland chicken fried in a tortilla. It takes me 5 hours to make taquitos from scratch and they are damn worth it. These were embarrassing to say the least. Only the rice and beans are decent. I expect way better for Mexican food in So Cal. The regular waitress comes across really cold and it's almost rude. I'm sorry but it's not my fault you work at a crappy restaurant.
