I ordered their fried fish, which came with rice and salad. It was delicious and I appreciated there was no breading on the fish. I only wish they sent more rice or salad. Both were truly the tiniest portion, like two bites. But the fish was a decent size. I also got a meat taco that was so good. It tastes like they toasted a soft taco to make a hard shell. So yummy. Grubhub delivery was not pleasant, because the delivery person just left my food on the floor (we have too many bugs in the desert). Wish they had their own delivery people but I get it's probably not as cost effective & not the restaurants fault. I'll definitely order the tacos again but may pass on the fish for the portion. read more

100% overpriced! The food tastes bland and I had to send my plate back because it was undercooked and looked like they put all different seafood in the same pan and rolled it around in oil. The whole plate was just thrown together, the fries were so over seasoned with some type of Cajun powder that our kids wouldn't even eat it and they usually love everyone's fries, there was brown lettuce in my salad and the rice was not consistently cooked to come out properly and the whole time we were there, I was upset we didn't just go to red lobster instead of trying a local place! The only good part of the experience we had was the waitress and the margarita!! the chef was nice enough to let me order something else (which is fair seeing as how much we spent) but the second dish was even worse, they didn't even get the side tortillas right (how do Mexicans mess up tortillas).. I love mexican food but I've never seen that before... wet, dry and hard to chew. The restaurant was completely empty when we went so it's not like they were busy, they just don't care about quality. I'm always hesitant to try ceviche or fish at new places. I was actually surprised by how damn good the ceviche is at this place. I also tried green posole for the first time. Not a big fan. The soup was good but I think I'll stick with the red. I think it was a much more flavorful taste. I havent tried the red here yet. But I will and post my review on that. read more

I was expecting a good experience but it was far from it. First we ordered our drinks and we waited and waited and my gf had to go get the drinks then we noticed clean dishes on the floor and our food took a while, my gf father was the last one to get his food. My gf and i finishes our food and then he got his food we asked why is it taking so long and there response was that they were busy but the restaurant was not busy at all. Charged me for drinks they had already charged my friend who left a bit before the rest of the group what a scam, we should have known when the place was dead and all the other negative reviews they have. Stumbled upon this Mexican restaurant and am I glad we did! We almost passed it by and have never even noticed it. The food was absolutely amazing and they had the best ceviche de camaron, and some delicious shrimp empanadas that were so tasty! The carne asada had a perfect flavor and was nice and tender. The salsas and beans served with the chips were delicious, some of the best beans served with chips that I've ever had. The service was superb! We can't wait to go back! read more

I was very disappointed with this place, felt straight out of kitchen nightmares. The decor feels stale, and there was only 1 customer inside, that should have warned us to go away. My husband got a shrimp platter and we were disgusted, they do not de-vein the shrimp.... Meaning they don't clean the poop out of the shrimp. The platter had shrimp poo all over it. Needless to say we lost our appetite and did not proceeded to order the shrimp cocktails we wanted since they don't clean their shrimp. Won't eat here again. read more

Yesterday was probably my last visit to Pedro's. I used to like eating there, the food was always good and the service was usually good. Our visit was in the evening on a Friday, around 6:30pm. It was not busy at all, just four guys in the corner that did not seem like customers. I am sure I have seen them there before, as that table is often occupied by people who don't appear to be customers. It was not busy yesterday. My wife and I each ordered the Carne Assad Tampaquena. Th guacamole looked so bad, I could not bring myself to even taste it, it had a bluish grey color to it. I have never seen guac that color before. I've seen the rusty black color of oxidized guac before, this was not that. The meat was over cooked, with some parts over seasoned, and others under seasoned. The beans were hard and dry, and had the appearance that they had been sitting for a long time, the cheese on top of the beans was hard and crunchy. They were also not hot, just barely warm. The cheese enchiladas were gross, and tasted like a soggy tortilla with ketchup on top with a dab of Chile powder. I can not speak for the rice, as I rarely eat rice, and it was left untouched. On a positive note, the Coca Mexicanos was ice cold and delicious. I didn't mention anything to the server at the time the food arrived, because I am firm firm believer in "they obviously don't care." If they cook sent the food out like this, he did not care about his work product. If the waitress looked At our plates and decided it was ok to bring it out, she doesn't care either. That leaves me at point of trust, if I send back two plates, what am I going to get in return? Normally I just vote with my feet in these cases, I don't want to make a fuss, I don't want a discount, I don't want a freebie. I want respect, the food I received here was a sign of disrespect. This waitress did no speak much English, and that is fine as my wife speaks fluent English and Spanish. I mentioned to the waitress at the registered that the food was awful, and that that guac was absolutely disgusting and that the food is not normally like that, but lately the food has been bad. She explained in Spanish that I was not getting a discount because I should have said something at the table. I had my wife explain to her that I am not asking for a discount, just that I want to bring it to her attention, as maybe she can prevent losing another customer, and that it was likely that I will not be returning. I would just like to let her know, so maybe something can be done about it. The waitress kept glancing at the guys at the corner table, and it makes m wonder if one of them might be Pedro? I really regret the way Pedro's is headed, I held off on posting a bad review my last few visits because everyone has an off day. I just stopped by today with a buddy for a late lunch ( 1400 hrs ) .. I don't normally order a Wet Burrito. But, I decided to take a chance, and was very surprised with a very delicious​ " Chili Verde Burrito ". I had to ask the waitress " IF " the order was correct, as the Chili wasn't what I considered " GREEN ", it looked more of a Red Sauce.
